Cannot get over this video, it’s too too much.

It’s sickening and unacceptable for ANY educational institution. I hope that woman gets fired and the university gets fined.

        • May 14, 2015 at 12:15 pm

And it was her tone Jackie, even more than her ridiculous words. Damn it, my parents paid so much for my college fees, if I’d been treated like that they’d have mangled her. Again, we’ll wait to see, but it would be very interesting to know if she treats all students like this….

Chips I have feeling she does not treat all students this way. I think this young man demands that they DO their jobs and give him good council. They would rather frustrate him to leave then to do their jobs.

I sincerely doubt that she does. And she probably felt very self righteous and brave doing this as if she had confronted an ‘enemy.’ There is something fundamentally twisted in that school. It needs a lot exposure and a good dose of attitude adjustment.

FUCK! I am so sick of this bullshit against AA men. They just make up shit as they go along. How in the hell is waiting to talk to someone, calmly, is harassing them. I am sure they have NO problem taking this young man’s tuition money but he can’t fucking talk with the councilor HE wants to talk too?

That JC Bradbury should get an earful as well. A student complains and you just basically tell them to go to another college? No college should treat students like this. They are actually like customers. Students pay to go there and should expect to be treated better. Unbelievable.

    • 22 jackiegrumbacher
      May 14, 2015 at 12:13 pm

I agree with you, GOB. The whole place needs to be investigated for its unacceptable attitude toward students. They are there for the students, not the other way around.

So Cuba has a drug that might cure lung cancer and because of President Obama normalizing relations with Cuba, the drug Cimavax might soon be available here in America. So President Obama might be able to cure cancer after all.

Isn’t it incredible Meta? I have no clue who this woman is, or if she treats everyone like this, but I’d sure love to know if she’s selective in which students she laughably accuses of ‘harassment’.

      • May 14, 2015 at 11:55 am

As long as there’s no disruption, that student has every right to be there during office hours, no matter what any staff member says.

In 1982 the city passed an ordinance [Sec 34-21][21]

          (a) In order to provide for the emergency management of the city, and further in order to provide for and protect the safety, security and general welfare of the city and its inhabitants, every head of household residing in the city limits is required to maintain a firearm, together with ammunition therefore.

          (b) Exempt from the effect of this section are those heads of households who suffer a physical or mental disability which would prohibit them from using such a firearm. Further exempt from the effect of this section are those heads of households who are paupers or who conscientiously oppose maintaining firearms as a result of beliefs or religious doctrine, or persons convicted of a felony.

When I lived and worked in New Jersey, I was heading to a conference once, very early morning – somewhere around 7 a.m. – took a wrong turn and landed in Camden, where I’d never been before. Needed to ask for directions, but no one was out and about – all I saw were pigeons who seemed to be living in the middle of the street, since there didn’t appear to be anybody else driving around, except little ol’ me. Finally, a gentleman emerged from a bar. So I called him over to my car, asked for directions, and he sent me on my way.

And that was today’s “A gentleman emerged from a bar” in New Jersey story from me.

Just think of all those harassing people filling up airports and train stations, not to mention emergency rooms. Harassment, harassment everywhere you look.

      • May 14, 2015 at 12:41 pm

I was at the bus stop this morning. I must have waited for about 8 minutes. Finally the bus came. The driver opened the door and said I was harassing him by standing there. He then called mass transit police so I decided to walk to work instead.

Yes, my mail handler took similar action, when he realized I’d been waiting a couple of hours for him to deliver a package. Think he hollered over his shoulder, “This is harassment – your waiting hours like that for me. I have to check with my supervisor, maybe even the Postmaster General. Sorry, I will not be leaving you that package today.” So I went back in the house and I’m still waiting.

Having been raised in the Trenton-Philly corridor, I loved it when Mayor Nutter explained the tone of some of his remarks as something like, “Here in Philadelphia, we talk real” (not a direct quote!) and added something like “unlike in New York City.” I’m sure he meant the latter part as a poke, because, of course, NYC folks talk real, too!

Breaking : At Least 13 Cars Off Tracks In Hazelwood Train Derailment

At least 13 cars are believed to have derailed. Fortunately, all of the derailed cars were empty.

“The train was going approximately 10mph. It wasn’t carrying anything, all the cars were empty, no Hazmat materials, no materials at all. That was confirmed by police and Hazmat. The railroad folks have equipment on the way to upright the cars and they should be here later this afternoon or early this evening. They’ll be working overnight to upright the cars,” Pittsburgh Director of Operations Guy Costa said.
