Missed Eric Five’s brilliant post earlier, but it’s a humdinger. I wish gullible people would not be so impressed by blowhards and could actually hear how hysterical and unreasonable they sound. It’s bizarre that people I know give credence to Elizabeth Warren (a first term senator) on TPP and dismiss the President of the United States who has a mature, global perspective on the subject and an encyclopedic knowledge of the actual contents. Guess if you shout loud enough and display a certain intensity of outrage you don’t need to support your opinion with facts.

‘if you shout loud enough and display a certain intensity of outrage you don’t need to support your opinion with facts’

There you have it in a nutshell, JackieG! As we have seen from the Repubs, you do not even need to support your opinion – just keep repeating it, while maintaining your outrage level. Many will find your persistence a clear indication of your ‘truth’.

I also missed Eric Five’s brilliant commentary. I went back and read it after reading your comment. As always, Eric hit the nail on the head. Sadly, even the supposedly smart people, who should know better, have bought Elizabeth Warren’s con game. I also agree with your comment 100%:

“…if you shout loud enough and display a certain intensity of outrage you don’t need to support your opinion with facts.”

They were doing a segment about PBO and FLOTUS talking about their experiences with racism….

She said that PBO didn’t talk about it after the Skip Gates incident because the ” Beer Summit ” didn’t get a positive reaction….

She said he never brought it up again until after the Zimmerman verdict….then she made that ridiculous comment about a ” White Security Guard “.

If I recall…Zimmerman was unemployed at the time of the incident….

    • May 11, 2015 at 5:20 pm

Linda, you got to be kidding. That’s a damn shame.

        There was a Song…….Cry To Me……
It is so sad that this guy…..had a Father who actually was good at Journalism.
        Fox and $$$ corrupted him.
His Dad in 2005/2006 on C-SPAN Live symposium confronted him for working for Fox.

State and local law enforcement agencies are investigating the hanging of a black man about 75 miles east of Atlanta.

A Greensboro Police Department spokesman confirmed the man, 43, was found hanging Monday morning from a tree behind a residence, not his, in the 600 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.

Not a BFD when The New England Patriots have had Cheating incidents in the past.
New England Patriots are worth over $1.%B……so a measly $1M Fine is Nada.

      • May 11, 2015 at 5:57 pm

Eh, I’m here for the humiliation. We all knew Belichik was a cheating asshole. But now St. Tom has been tarnished.

Yep, that’s what I wanted! Brady’s been tagged. If there’s any truth to him not showing up at the WH because of what the Press Sec or someone said about Deflategate, we now know why. He KNEW he was involved and probably knew this was coming down.

A Little League Team in Chicago was denied their earned US Championship for what their Coaches did.
Here, a full grown man cheated, repeatedly, was caught and his Team were aware of this Hair-repaired transplant recipient’s actions…..and the Team Not ONLY…now gets to keep the Title and the Trophy……with a little slap on the QB’s Tooshie?

        Hell, Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

The Patriots should have been disqualified and the Super Bowl trophy should have been given to the Seahawks!

          • May 12, 2015 at 1:30 am

Even before that, Betsy! They should have been disqualified after their game with the Colts and allowed the Colts to play in the Super Bowl. The indianapolis Colts were cheated!
