Nerdy, these are absolutely hilarious, will NEVER stop laughing at “I’m not ready for a white president 😩”

I was inspired by our president’s huge smile in the upper right! πŸ˜€

NerdyW, these are fun. The ladies make me chuckle though I honestly don’t feel exactly as they do.

Hahahahahahahahaha. That cracked me up too. πŸ™‚

I was like, “I feel you, dude. I feel you.”

The Obamas have been such a breath of fresh air and now we have to go back to the boring status quo.

I remember President Obama saying in a speech that β€œwe are the ones we’ve been waiting for.” It is good to know that he has faith in us, even though sometimes we don’t show that we have faith in ourselves. One of the things that makes me feel hopeful is that he isn’t leaving the world stage after his Presidency is over. I suspect that many from all political persuasions will seek his counsel.

Hopef, I am holding out for the dream that the Obamas will be making such a difference within months of being freed from the restriction of ‘politics’, people who were fearing their departure from the WH will be singing a different tune. After 2017 Pres O & Michelle O can speak more candidly on all issues. Do you doubt that if Pres O launches, for example, a call for people to send clear messages to their representatives on this/that issue the O-coalition would not respond in droves? I am one of the few who is not reluctant to see PBO’s term in WH end. I have absolutely hated the way the O’s have been treated by those who should have known better, and irritated that despite giving/doing so very much PBO in particular is repeatedly expected to ‘prove himself’ at each turn. I am anticipating greater leadership progress out of office simply because the Congress won’t be in his way.

Excellent points VC – I agree…they are much bigger than the Presidency. πŸ™‚

      • May 3, 2015 at 3:16 am

Very well said, VC! Like you I am sick and tired of the disrespect, and the non-stop criticism, President Obama has received from both the right and the left, as well as the so called mainstream News media. Obviously, so long as he is the President of the United States he has to be careful of what he says and does.

Excellent article on SA Mosby compared to the other Prosecutors of the other questionable deaths.
“The Baltimore state’s attorney gave a much more forceful case for justice than her counterparts in Ferguson, Cleveland, and New York City.”

Cuba gears up for tourist influx as US relations improve.

It is not hard to see why Cuba is so popular with tourists.

The music, fine cigars, rum and pristine beaches have enticed visitors to the island since before the Cuban Revolution.

Add the 1950s cars gliding through the streets of one of the last communist strongholds in the world, Cuba boasts something unique in the international tourism market: that intangible stamp of “authenticity” which so many visitors demand.

Every day, more Americans feel equally emboldened to visit the once-forbidden island, particularly after seeing their president sit down with Raul Castro for historic talks at a regional summit in Panama.

To them, it seems unfair, even illogical, to ban travel to a country you are on increasingly friendly terms with.

Traditionally, US citizens who travel to Cuba illegally do so via Mexico, Canada or the Bahamas.

But since December, travel visas for Americans have been more readily available in 12 key categories, from cultural and religious exchanges to sporting events.

Furthermore, many US visitors have simply lost their fear of being fined by the US government if they travel to Cuba without prior approval.

    one of jim’s best.

    Jade Helm.

    Martial Law.

    FEMA Death Camps.

    Oh, it’s coming, Folks. It’s a comin’.

This is it. This is the big one. Obama is about to make his move. Martial law, you betcha, FEMA death camps and secret tunnels under Wal-Mart. Oh they warned us, they did, the powdered wig wearing Patriots of the Tea Party, they warned us. Grab the wimen’ folk, load yer guns, hoist the Confederate Battle Flag! To the bunkers! To the bunkers!

Let’s say this really was a thing.

Sure, just for the sake of argument, let’s say Obama really is planning on herding Texans into FEMA death camps disguised as Wal-Marts.

Why would he need the army?

Think about it. Why would you need some secret plot to get Texans into a Wal-Mart?

Announce a Veterans Day sale with 50% off all ammunition, Duck Dynasty camouflage, and frozen chicken nuggets, unlock the doors, and step the hell out of the way before you get trampled.

Gooddddddddddd Morning Ms Chipssssssssssss…GM to the Legendary NerdyWonkaaaaaa….Goooooooood Morning to allllllllll who inhabit The Village known as TheObamaDiary…

Feeling beautiful today…..the sun is shining….it is warm….and as RANMan says….the President is still President….well says it a bit more eloquently…smiling….

    as Bob says,,,,#TrustBarack

and as amk would say…ex.sack,lee….hahhaaha…i think i got that right…

feeling a lil giddy this morning…

MsChips…loving the updated pic of the President….his hair maybe gray but he still has that great smile and lethal presence…

earlier in the week the President did a virtual program with children across the nation…he spoke about what he would do after his presidency…he said that he would go back to doing what he did before he went into public office….community organizing….helping people….I see his presence heavily in OFA,,,i think some of the folks who have left his administration will be back on board….suddenly 2017…does not hold as much trepidation for me as before….

TOD is like no other place….you all have become so much a part of my life…not sure what will happen to the village after 2017…but TOD place will always have a special place in my heart….

heading out to breakfast with my sister…..

    have a great morning…evening….night
