On the final leg of stage one of this clear-up before my boss is on the phone in the morning determined to punish me for taking a week off.
This leg involves throwing out clothes – it’s extraordinary how many socks there are in this house with no pairs. Can’t imagine what happened.
It’s called “Being Danny” that’s what happened to those socks 😀
But GGail – why does he never shred pairs? Why does he choose one sock from a pair to shred, before moving on to another single sock from a pair?
smh – have you forgotten that variety is supposed to spice life up? Socks cannot be all that tasty; variety helps in the digestion.

😀 😀 The partner-less socks made me laugh! Think how great you will feel on Monday when the boss calls – lots of new, shiny and fresh things all around you to enjoy, and it’s spring so you don’t really need to wear socks anyway.
Between you and JackiG, I’ve started to feel a wee bit …laz….. indolent, so I did some outside yard work yesterday AND am actually going to do some clothes sorting tomorrow. I am being pushed into the clothes sorting because I got one of those phone calls where they’re doing pickup in my area Tuesday, if I put stuff out by 7 a.m. Since I need to clear stuff out this was a nice deadline to move some of it. I tend to work best when there is a meaningful deadline. 😉 😉

Danny was strangely silent – stunned, I think. This is the first creature he’s met who’s bigger than him. But at the rate he’s growing, I fear/suspect he’ll be the size of that horse by his second birthday in August.

Hey, don’t knock the power of modeling…or even hero worship. If they hang out together long enough, DannyO might notice that hero-horse has no interest in branch-collection. I love the lush green look of Danny’s forest, although you wouldn’t catch me walking there alone, especially in the evening hours. 😀
I’m not worried about meeting humans at all, it’s field mice – I will be hospitalized if I even see the shadow of one.

Ah, GGail, you sweetheart!
I was going to get one of them but the vet advised me against it, he said for a dog as strong as Danny – and he has a chest like Ironman – it would actually make him harder to control. The harness sort of, well, harnesses his chest power!
The only one that works and makes me look like I have a well-trained dog when we’re out is this:
But it takes about four hours to put on, he hates it intensely, and spends the entire walk trying to remove it with his paws – and he usually succeeds.
So, for now, I’m using my – ha! – shock absorbent leash with a traffic control handle 🙄
I don’t blame Danny, I wouldn’t like that one either – YUCK! Well, I’m content in knowing that you’ve discussed it with your Vet. Good mommy 🙂
