    Hello, TOD.
I am checking in for a second in case you missed it. HuffPo had an item yesterday that the GOP was dropping Repeal Obamacare from their to-do list. About f—–g time! Now I think that the spread of Medicaid expansion may increase. So so good.

Instead the RW can turn their energy towards another battle they will lose. Opposing the nuclear deal between the World and Iran. So sorry, Bibi. (Not sorry) not even a little drop of sorry.

Chelsea up by 10 points and the season winding down. No comment, just noticing.

NYC is gorgeous and I am headed right out again. Have a great day everybody.

VC, you want fast-track, okay. By the power vested in me, I hereby give you, VC “Partial dual Citizenship for 14 months”. Enjoy! 🙂

      April 19, 2015 at 1:48 pm

‘partial citizenship’? What’s *that* mean? Also, too, you have power vested in you and are only now revealing that? Really now!!
      .
      .
Actually, let’s not fight. How about using your vested power to get the 50 or so tickets for our TOD WH group tour? As you know, I can join the other 48 of you, with reasonable warning, any time in the next 4½ months. 😀 😀

Danny met his first horse today – the ultimate “WTF?!?’ moment in history:

    • 36 GGail
      April 19, 2015 at 1:47 pm

Looking at THAT horse, I would say the same thing! WTF?????@@@!!!!!####!!!!!!

    • 41 vcprezofan2
      April 19, 2015 at 1:50 pm

Did Danny call out to him, or just stared while trying to figure out if *he* would be growing that big?

      • April 19, 2015 at 1:52 pm

Danny was strangely silent – stunned, I think. This is the first creature he’s met who’s bigger than him. But at the rate he’s growing, I fear/suspect he’ll be the size of that horse by his second birthday in August.

        • 43 GGail
          April 19, 2015 at 1:56 pm

Danny is looking at the horse and saying “Daddy”?

        • 46 vcprezofan2
          April 19, 2015 at 1:59 pm

Maybe, you should buy/borrow the horse for play dates – he could be DannyO’s older mentor. Who knows, he would probably be able to steer DannyO away from collecting branches and trunks.

          • April 19, 2015 at 2:05 pm

Not even Champion the Wonder Horse could steer Danny away from branch-collecting

              April 19, 2015 at 2:08 pm

Last night I posted a link that listed some reasons why dogs like trees. One of the reasons is that it gets its Owners attention. I think Danny does it now because he likes the way you freak-out, I mean react to those damn branches 😀

            • April 19, 2015 at 2:16 pm

              What a beautiful path!

Hey, don’t knock the power of modeling…or even hero worship. If they hang out together long enough, DannyO might notice that hero-horse has no interest in branch-collection. I love the lush green look of Danny’s forest, although you wouldn’t catch me walking there alone, especially in the evening hours. 😀

Chips, I think it’s time for Danny to have a harness instead of that collar leash – check these out

                Ah, GGail, you sweetheart!

I was going to get one of them but the vet advised me against it, he said for a dog as strong as Danny – and he has a chest like Ironman – it would actually make him harder to control. The harness sort of, well, harnesses his chest power!

The only one that works and makes me look like I have a well-trained dog when we’re out is this:

But it takes about four hours to put on, he hates it intensely, and spends the entire walk trying to remove it with his paws – and he usually succeeds.

So, for now, I’m using my – ha! – shock absorbent leash with a traffic control handle 🙄

I don’t blame Danny, I wouldn’t like that one either – YUCK! Well, I’m content in knowing that you’ve discussed it with your Vet. Good mommy 🙂

oh he looks to be so much fun… I miss those young years, my dog is an oldie (but still a goodie) now.. so he ‘rests’ a lot.. I envy you and Danny having such a wilderness to explore together 🙂

              • April 19, 2015 at 4:51 pm

Helloooooo sherijr!! Some days I wish Danny would rest a lot! But I know what you mean, you end up missing the crazy days, so I’ll enjoy every minute while they’re here. Give your dog a big slurpy kiss for me.

slurpy kiss given ~ he hugs like a bear.. well a gentle bear 🙂 so he sent you a gentle bear hug in return. If he wasn’t so grumpy I’d get us a puppy.. he will willingly share his space with cats, but not with another dog. Hugs to big Danny too 🙂

    So,….

    Just so we’re clear….

You can charge a cop (like literally run towards him).
You can reach for your pockets (where you literally have a gun)
You can LITERALLY ask the cop to shoot you even while you’re being threatening to him and posing a risk to other people…..
You can do all this while being a suspect in a double homicide and murder.

……and you’ll still get to live, even after all this…..

But just as long as you’re white.

This letter is dated June 13, 2011 – At a glance, seems to me Gov. O’Malley’s summary of *his* China visit highlights some of the very things PBO has been trying to accomplish wit TPP.

‘Dear Members of the University [of Maryland] Community:

President Wallace Loh I am writing to report to you on my recent seven-day China visit with Governor Martin O’Malley.

    …………………………………………….

Governor O’Malley summarized our China visit as follows:

“By reaching across borders, we can share knowledge and research, generate promising partnerships, and leverage the power of innovation to create jobs and expand opportunity to make our children winners in this changing, global economy.”
I could not agree more with the Governor. The real winners from our China trip will be our students as we become a more globally networked, innovative, and entrepreneurial University in service to Maryland and the nation.

Yes, he said he was visiting the UK which he reckoned was the same as Ireland – you know he’s from Pakindiastan, dontcha?

HOORAAAYYY.. The Pope is also expected to release an encyclical on the environment.

The summit, which is scheduled for April 28 and entitled “Protect the Earth, Dignify Humanity. The Moral Dimensions of Climate Change and Sustainable Development,” will draw together a combination of scientists, global faith leaders, and influential conservation advocates such as Jeffrey Sachs, Director of the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network. UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon is slotted to offer the opening address, and organizers say the goal of the conference is to “build a consensus that the values of sustainable development cohere with values of the leading religious traditions, with a special focus on the most vulnerable.”

I’VE SEEN THROAT REPORTS BEFORE….GLOBE SAYS THROAT AND THAT HE IS LOSING HIS VOICE…IS WEAK AND USING A WHEELCHAIR IN THE WH…I HAVE NOTICED HIM LOSING HIS VOICE ALOT LATELY…SAYS CRIPPLING DISEASE THEY ARE TRYING TO KEEP QUIET…PERSONALLY I HAVE NOTICED QUITE A CHANGE IN HIS WALK AND ALOT OF WEIGHT AND BONE LOSS…SOMETHING IS GOING ON…I BELIEVE THAT. IT SAYS THE WH HAS REDUCED HIS SCHEDULE SO THAT HE MAY REST….I SEE EXHAUSTION IN HIM…I HAVE THOUGHT FOR SOME TIME THAT SOMETHING IS WRONG.

        • April 19, 2015 at 6:43 pm

I THINK THERE IS TRUTH TO IT…THERE IS ALOT OF WEIGHT AND BONE LOSS AND FIND THE MAG…THERE IS A PHOTO OF HIM ON THE FRONT PAGE IN A WHEELCHAIR WHICH COULD BE FIXED…HOWEVER THE IMPORTANT THING IS THAT THE WH KNOW THIS STORY IS OUT THERE AND HUGE….APRIL 27, 2015 ISSUE….I AM MORE CONCERNED ABOUT PBO THAN ANYTHING ELSE BECAUSE I HAVE NOTICED THE CHANGE IN HIS PHYSICAL APPEARANCE…I HAVE QUESTIONED THIS LONG BEFORE ANY PRINT HIT A RACK….

            • April 19, 2015 at 7:11 pm

Sue, I just looked it up….. the photo the Globe used on their cover is of the President in a wheelchair …… at the WH Science Fair (Caption: Kaitlin Reed demonstrates to President Barack Obama the attachable lever she developed that can make wheelchair movements easier and less tiring, during the 2015 White House Science Fair in the Blue Room, March 23, 2015)

Don’t waste your money on these rags, they’re pure nonsense.

The President is doing an exhausting job, so of course he’s going to look tired – and he jokes himself about the gray hairs, etc. But his energy is boundless – just think of him on the Jamaica/Panama trip.

              It’s a bunch of silliness 🙂
