What an absolutely glorious roundup of photos, Nerdy. I feel as if we really have a chance to relive all that happened today. Our President and First Lady are fully there for everyone they encounter. Hi, VC. I pulled a muscle in my back as we were redecorating, so I’ve been taking it slow trying to recover. Went to a Democratic fundraiser tonight for our local candidates, which had a remarkably good turnout. We’ve got great candidates who would do a terrific job in office if only people would come out to vote.

Jim Wright over at Stonekettle has an excellent post stating that this is in fact the Republican strategy: Wear all those not so enamored Dems out about Hillary and hopefully they will stay home and not vote. I watched the dynamics at the press conference with Matteo Renzi and was impressed at the authentic warmth and chemistry between the two leaders.
There are few men who can be friends with both Kings and paupers. President Obama belongs to an elite group who are loved by both.
