Planned on a lie-in tomorrow, just got text message saying new microwave oven (to assist my culinary adventures) will be arriving at 8.0 AM.
Hush! It’s almost done – think of the end result. 😀 The good thing about scheduling delivery etc early is that your chance of them being on time is infinitely better than the alternative. I hate when they do the ‘between 9 and 12’ or ‘between 12 and 5’ arrival time, because invariably you end up wasting quite a bit of that time waiting!
I tell ya something, if there’s no Early Bird tomorrow it’ll be because I’ve been arrested after a business premises was burnt to the ground after not delivering until waaaaaay after 8.0 AM when they had promised to.
Don’t worry, the first appointment of the day usually fares well. They have little excuse (like being held up at the previous home) – that’s why I always choose first when I have a choice.

Will do and sadly, no rain, although, funny you should mention rain…our sprinklers come on around 11pm, and it was forecast that the mountain area’s might, might get some rain, so last night, in that twillight phase of slumber, I thought I heard the sprinklers come on, then I was awakened by what I thought was rain falling from up above, but when I finally stepped outside on my way to my car, the grass looked wet, but the sidewalks didn’t show any signs of being wet.
So, since I was not consciously awake…was it the sprinklers….or…did it rain last night? 😀 😀
No not his health. There is some kind of a Metallic Plate underneath his shoes. These people usually wear spic and span polished shoes. Who knows, a little bit of oil, liquid, or what have you…… 😉 ….might have caused his slippage 🙂

But something happened in this case to allow the small aircraft to land undetected.
“It was an act, basically, of civil disobedience. He wanted to let people know about what campaign finance laws, or lack thereof, are doing to this country.”

Gyrocopter pilot feared being shot down

The pilot who flew a gyrocopter into restricted airspace and landed on the west lawn of the U.S. Capitol is Doug Hughes, a postal worker from Florida who wants to make a statement about campaign finance reform.
Hughes, 61, had warned on Wednesday that he would fly his small gyrocopter to the Capitol to deliver letters in person to lawmakers to demand that they take up campaign finance reform.

Officials on Capitol Hill also said police were expecting him, but had thought he would land on the east side of the Capitol.
Hughes told the Times that he had been questioned for about 45 minutes by the Secret Service. He had made no secret of his effort.
“I’m demanding reform and declaring a voter’s rebellion in a manner consistent with Jefferson’s description of rights in the Declaration of Independence,” he wrote in his letters, according to the Times. “As a member of Congress, you have three options. 1. You may pretend corruption does not exist. 2. You may pretend to oppose corruption while you sabotage reform. 3. You may actively participate in real reform.”

yes, I think in the tweet they are just saying that there are no cameras outside. I was watching the livestream and the birthing “pen” and both were gone and all the discussion was about them being outside and not being able to see them.
It’s 2pm Dallas time and I’m looking at Katie inside the portion that they place her & the baby when they’re cleaning the birthing area. Maybe they have the ability to go inside as well as outside during the day. That would be nice, but I don’t have time to watch for very long now, will check back this evening.

The spokewoman, with that plastered on huge smile we get from RW women, ignored the question entirely and did an extended riff on “The Democrat Party” filled with talking points about the greatness of Lady Walmart.
Chris and Sam Seder’s faces were something to behold. Shocked. Both to hear a supposed Dem spokesperson saying Democrat Party and then refusing to discuss the ACA. Chris looked shocked but Sam seemed ready to cry. Chris recovered first and got this hideous woman off the screen.
Second clue is that on the day recently when the excellent ACA sign-up numbers were announced HRC was on TV with a GOP guy presenting a bill to extend S-Chip. Not a peep about good news for the ACA. Trying to step on PBO’s and Obamacare’s success. Again
If I understand the implications here, it is 100% certain that the WH does, too. I think HRC would be wise to expect a blowback that will knock her off her feet.
Clarification. What Chris Hayes asked, specifically, was “Today the numbers on uncovered adults came out and as a result of Obamacare the number dropped from over 18% to 11%. What will the HRC campaign say about this?”
Then this woman launched into anti-Obama “democrat party” having nothing to do with healthcare.
