Remind me why I started this epic house/garden junk-clearing exercise? 😦

Nerdy, you’re a treasure, I missed flippin’ everything today so this is a splendiferous way of catching up – you are a STAR!

      1. Because Man United weren’t left crying for their blankies so you decided that once in a blue moon luck was also transmitted to you? 😉

      2. You’re welcome, Chiparoo. Glad the tweets help you catch up.

Thanks NW, your tweet roundups are always highly informative and wide-ranging, but tonight’s is off the chart.

So heartbreaking to read about the senseless murders of #WalterScott and #EricHarris. So frustrating that, as others have pointed out, these circumstances/outcomes have been going on for (no doubt) hundreds of years in the US, and continue to this moment, despite the public awareness raised by #MichaelBrown, #EricGarner, #TrayvonMartin and others recently in the news. Unbelievable.

Thanks also to @PrettyFootWoman for the beauty of her #SwanLake tweet. @melaninmatters tweets should be front page news until legislatures respond by elevating #PrisonReform to the priority it needs.

And I am beyond furious that GOP and MSM are digging their heels in on their unabashed obstruction/dog whistle bigotry when referring to the President of the United States. They should just glue @NRAwayne’s statement to their foreheads.

P.S. — LOVE @JBendery’s tweet about President Obama’s friends — mentioned yesterday that I think @VP will throw his hat in the Presidential ring while the MSM are off getting fatter and stupider on their August vacations in the Hamptons, Cheney’s ranch or McCain’s Sedona compound. MSM are idiotic traitors.

“Australia introduces ‘No Jab, No Pay’ plan: If you don’t vaccinate, you don’t get government welfare benefits: ”

What is bad about this – there is a religious exemption – there should be NO exemptions. Some folks (incl some of my friends) truly believe vaccination is harmful – why do they have to be Religious NJs to be exempt?

There should be no religion in government for any reason.

I only saw a brief reference to the new “plan,” and thought it was so typical to only target people who get welfare benefits. This is similar to what some of the state governors try here. At least, that’s the way I read it.

It’s slightly more than that jacqueline as many middle class working mothers depend on the child care subsidy – which can be $250 per week and more. Some of the major cities have very expensive child care centres. You are right however that many of those targeted are on welfare benefits or the working poor. It was said that 97% of those receiving the benefit had their children vaccinated, yet the overall % in Australia is 90% – hence it will make almost NO difference to vaccination rates. It is seen by the government as a vote winner as much as anything else.

so disappointed in Congress and the democrats betraying the president like this. 😦

  12. April 14, 2015 at 1:31 am

We have been betrayed, friends, by the pro-war Democrats in the Senate. It’s time to raise hell!

Now is the time to raise holy hell with @SenDems for their traitorous betrayal of the cause of peace and reason while they work with GOP to block the Iran deal. We need to rally support for President Obama to put these people down.

It makes me want to pull my hair out. Why do they do this crap? They get paid to make things better, but it seems the only actions they leap to are the ones that make things worse. Absolutely unacceptable.

Okay, Obama warriors, I’m outta here at 1:30 a.m. Gettin’ too old for some of this shit. Ha! Continue to fight the good fight – especially against Democrats who are going against our President.
