"Walter Scott shouldn't have run."
Eric Harris was restrained and the cops killed him anyway. It's not about what black people are doing.

DeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeEffffffffffffff!!
Hi, sweet Chips:)
Excellent selection, Chips and I love the ‘goal keeper’ – I’ve got two kitties that do phenomenal stuff like that and it’s such a joy to watch!!!!
Congrats DF in First!
A whole lot has happened today.
Katie’s baby is a Girl, ManU won Big and my inbox is full of Hilliary. Well, two out of three ain’t bad 😳
GGail!!
DF!!!
How Sassy Sadie?
Sassy. 🙂 Actually…very well, thank you. She was outside with me all morning and “helped” me plant flowers…she had waaaay too much fun!
She is one beautiful dog, df, that’s for sure. So glad you are both enjoying each other!!
Thanks:)
We have room for more pics of Sadie
😀 😀 😀
Congrats “desert warrior”!! How’s the kick boxing these days 🙂
Umm…I’ve had to take a break from kickboxing for a few…wrenched my back and it’s tweeked just enough to annoy me…getting better, but, alas….I’m not 20 anymore and I don’t bounce back from these issues quite so easily anymore:) Thanks for asking though!
Was hoping you’d avoid injury, df. Wishing you a thorough recovery and then, back at it!!
Back to read the goodness now…
Wow
I missed this when it came out a few weeks ago. Spandan is awesome.
http://www.thepeoplesview.net/main/2015/3/29/blinded-by-celebrity-elizabeth-warrens-slide-to-irrelevancy
Excerpt:
But didn’t she provide oversight for the Treasury’s implementation of the Financial Rescue? Why yes, she did. Didn’t she do the grunt work in setting up the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, which was her brainchild to begin with? Also true.
So can’t it be said she’d accomplished a great deal? Yes… But not as a Senator. In other words, to be crass about it, she’d made next to no real accomplishments in her time in government when Barack Obama wasn’t holding her hand.
After all, by this time in his career in the US Senate, a major nuclear nonproliferation law already bore Senator Obama’s name – in a Republican controlled Senate no less along with a Republican president (Obama’s work on nuclear nonproliferation as a relatively new legislator in Washington was cited in his Nobel commendation).
Interesting – and I agree.
Warren / Castro 2016!!!! (I know, I know, I KNOW! But a guy can dream, right???)
Hmmm…I’m not a fan of Warren although I would vote for her if she was the nominee. But as a senator I think she is all sound and fury signifying nothing. Good article about her from Spandan.
http://www.thepeoplesview.net/main/2015/3/29/blinded-by-celebrity-elizabeth-warrens-slide-to-irrelevancy
Biden/Castro or Biden/de Blasio
🙂
I actually would like Biden/Warren. Biden for Prez to continue Obama’s policies and he has more experience to site or at least equal to Hillary’s. Warren for VP with her Domestic Senatorial experience and economic knowledge and ability to teach the people what we need and why. Also Warren would give the ticket the needed female. Now that’s the ticket I could support!
Words were left out of my post. Biden has more foreign relations experience to site…
I read this as: Can’t wait to have access and special favors…or at least favorable conditions for my money….
It’s like they’ve been frozen in 2008, and don’t realize the world has moved on while they’ve been harboring their racism and hate.
This is the kind of B.S. which will turn alot of people off. That witch Rothschild.
Is that Biden YOLO twitter from Biden or a joke? Must be a joke.
Does Planned Parenthood really want me to believe that Hillary Clinton is the only person that ever gave a damn about women?
PP very disappointing, to say the least.
I have known that Emily’s List is anti-Obama but Cecile Richards? very sad.
I’m confused a Chips post of tweets – some goodies there. I think this is my favorite
“The only thing I’m ready for is Barack Obama’s third term. Everything else is a compromise.”
I’m with BWD 🙂
🙂 Just giving Nerdy her first evening break since 1862.
99ts, you missed a great win today. Four GOOOOOALS! 😄😄😄😄
I saw it when I woke GGail and was discussing with Chips your reaction 🙂
I see burnout before the Primary.
I’ll be surprised if she makes it to June (2015), Gail 😉
And you’re pretty smart too Bob.
^5 I suspect the ploy/plot/plan to use ‘social media’ is an attempt to avoid having to the the real on the ground work. Flimsy and lame.
great tweets. thank you 🙂
Thank you, Chipsy-whispy! I got to the cat goalkeeper before suspecting it was you at the helm, then the
kangaroogiraffe birth announcement confirmed it. {Did I tell you when Gail first made the announcement I started typing ‘Who’s Katie? There’s no Katie in the TOD family’, then my eyes saw the weight and height which I initially thought were typos, and it clicked.}VC, hahaha you will have to get used to me talking about Katie & her baby girl 😊
🙄 🙄 I guess all you folks going ‘Ooooh, aaaaah’ over this calf are yearning for a baby in your own family.
Nope. Just think she’s a cutie
Not sure of that myself – she never once walked around for me!!! 😦 All I was able to catch was when she stood up the first time and I wasted a lot of precious time hanging around and also going back more than once. Finally i just left in a huff and haven’t been back since.
Oh well I’ve had better luck
I noticed. 😉
Jesus, this Hillary announcement is bringing out the seriously ugly even among long time Twitter friends.
I cannot believe it.
I had the same experience with one of the “tweeters” you have above. I’d rather not say whom, but you are dead on. Sad.
It’s stunning Betsy, I suspected today would bring out some ugly, but not this much. The rage of the Hillary diehards at us ‘Obots’ being less than enthusiastic is almost comical, and they don’t even get that most of the problem is supporters like them, rather than her.
Yikes!!
ROTFLMAO! 🙂
😀 😀 😀 😀
Why has Hillary Clinton’s camp begun its bid for the 2016 presidency campaigning against President Obama’s accomplishment and legacy, instead of highlighting what Hillary has over the Republicans? It is beginning to sound like it’s a Clinton-Obama race; but I thought PBO could not run again.
Oh, and someone should tell the Clinton advisors that those who do not learn from history are bound to repeat it.
they never learn PrayerWarriorforObama.
From the book, The Residence: Inside the Private World of The White House.
President Obama rocked out to Mary J. Blige after moving in. …One member of the White House staff overheard President Obama and the first lady late at night after the 2009 inaugural balls. “I got this, I got this. I got the inside now,” he overheard. And then, with Michelle Obama in a T-shirt and sweatpants, the couple turned on Mary J. Blige’s “Real Love” and danced together…

Oh, the awesome photo of the baby giraffe! I’m in love all over again! ❤
Excuse my language, but fuck this bigot:
The Opponents of TPP Haven’t Convinced Me
I’ll say right up front that I am – as yet – undecided about whether or not to support the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) agreement. For a lot of liberals, there’s a slam dunk case against it. But the arguments haven’t convinced me yet.
First of all, I think President Obama is right. We live in a globalized world and trade with other countries is a fact of life. Our only option is to create the best conditions for ourselves and the rest of the world. And so its not a matter of simply rejecting trade deals, its the content that matters.
Simply screaming NAFTA! doesn’t cut it for me. All trade deals are not the same. As an example, both the United Auto Workers and the United Food and Commercial Workers supported the free trade agreement President Obama negotiated with South Korea a few years ago. So its clear that there are good trade agreements and bad ones.
Just as we’ve had to note lately that no agreement with Iran over their nuclear weapons program is going to be perfect, we have to accept that no trade deal is ever going to be perfect. By nature, negotiations like this mean making compromises. Ultimately then, the question will be whether or not TPP is good enough.

Great post, Chips.
Thanks for the front page.
As I said to 99ts, Nerdy, I think the last time you had an evening break was about two centuries ago 🙂
Still can’t over this, the ugly really crept out today:
1. Hahahahaaha
2. Some people never learn from history. It’s like 08 and the PUMAs all over again. Today, some have been losing their minds because everyone won’t jump up and down screaming: “HILLARY!!!!!!!!!!!” all because people want a primary where there are a slate of candidates who will tell voters their policies and then earn votes. It’s an election, not a coronation. She is not automatically entitled to the presidency. She wins the primary and gets the nomination, awesome. Then she hopefully goes on to crush the GOP.
It’s going to be long election days.
On this, you and ABL have it right.
So sad 😦
This country’s in serious trouble…
lmao Nerdy. That graphic looks ominous, like threatening clouds. I thought I was reading some weather report written as bad news is coming.
A very important distinction between referring to them as correctly as deniers or incorrectly as skeptics.

Aaaaaaand another Hillary fan:
What’s today’s date again? When are the primaries again? This tweet brought a sad smile to my face…
Oh, blocked that Hillarybot creature, Obama followers are cultists!1!1!1!
What brought on my sad smile is her assumption from this vantage point that HRC has announced so there’ll be no other announcement. It’s sad too that by their very behaviour they may discourage potential participants. Talk about divisive behaviour, it’s like it was just waiting to burst forth.
Their behaviour today has been a sight to behold VC, it’s like they now feel free to unleash their venom. If they think that’s the way to make Hillary President ….. 🙄
‘it’s like they now feel free to unleash their venom.’
I would never have thought that they’ve been sitting on venom all this time – except for maybe de Rothschild and her ilk, but the way they burst out of the starting gate today says a lot to me. Although, to be fair, there are some in our corner who also seem like they were waiting to unleash too. Smh – there’s nothing good in this, and quite frankly, IMO, if HRC were a more principled candidate she would have corralled her closer, more rabid supporters beforehand and set the tone she wanted with them, so they could in turn pass that down. I don’t see anything different in this start than in the way she ended the last round.
“It’s sad too that by their very behaviour they may discourage potential participants.”
vcprezofan2, there will be men running for the Presidency and my gut says they could give a rats ass about this bullshit and HRCs fee fees..
Morning, NoSpin. Crossing my fingers that you are right. This assumption/presumption that #wethepeople need a saviour – female or otherwise – doesn’t sit well with me, especially after PBO has worked tirelessly to get many to understand and accept that ‘we are the change we need’.
We all knew that this day was going to come and we knew how frustrated we would feel by Hillary supporters who would try to stamp all over the accomplishments of our President to pump up their queen. But I’m trying to remind myself that all of this 2016 preoccupation is a distraction from what we have to to now in 2015. There are important races going on this year–in fact, the election of three Supreme Court justices in the state of PA is probably the most important one in the state’s history since the last time three seats became vacant was in the eighteenth century. That election alone will determine the state’s redistricting for the next ten to twenty years. So there are people to register, primaries to win, voters to get to the polls. This is also the critical time when we need to be recruiting and working with potential candidates for US House and Senate in 2016. We need massive Democratic turnout in the next two years if we have any hope of a decent future. So I’m going to let the Hillary folks do their thing–if they want to engage in all the hard and grubby, precinct by precinct work to get her elected, they are welcome to it. We have a president to support for the next 20 months and we have other vital elections to win.
“We need massive Democratic turnout in the next two years if we have any hope of a decent future. Agree, JackieG.
We also need a very robust, adult DEM Primary, so that whomever emerges is as prepared as possible to motivate Voters with their message and demonstrated commitment to it. That is the only way we save America from the plutocrats and their GOP servants.
Bob, I completely agree that we need a robust, adult Dem primary and I think there’s still a good chance we’ll see others step in as the Hillary fever wanes in a couple of months. I just know how important other races are and how focused our troops have to be if we ‘re going to have a chance of winning. It’s a big temptation among my fellow Dems to wait for the big one and slacken up in other years and we just can’t afford that luxury.
You are so right about this!
Ha!
❤ @petesouza ❤
Our Pete doesn’t mince words!!
😀 😀 😀 😀 That made me laugh. Very pointed answer, Mr. Souza! 😀 😀 😀
LOL!
after the 2008 campaign, i said there’s no way lady walmart could ever win a national election. not even close. one day into this one now, and look what’s already happening?!? i can’t believe this clinton family is preying upon on us yet again. i really thought when president obama kicked their butz in 2008 we were finally rid of them, and yet they’re still here. this is a nightmare. i know this is unlikely and not shared by everyone here, but i still believe senator elizabeth warren is the only one with the smarts and ability to fire up crowds that could overcome this mess. still keeping my fingers crossed.
get used to more of this:
Republicans have done enough damage in the last six years (and beyond) to guarantee that they lose elections for the next century. But, Democrats choose to fight amongst themselves and lose elections instead. It’s crazy!
that’s why i couldn’t believe she was gearing up to do this again. she and her husband have been such divisive figures for so long that her running is almost the only way a republican could win the white house again. i really think both clintons are certifiable narcissists and keep doing this to feed their own egos, more than trying to help the world. how can they not see this themselves?!? if they really cared about helping the world, they would’ve decided not to run. i really hope a democrat can stop them again in the primaries. it’s our only hope.
I know – they should have been grooming someone whom they could support, if they really wanted to play a constructive part of 2016. The fact that their followers are attacking the president as their first action is really disappointing.
Poor Harriet Christian may she rest in peace. Apparently she died in 2013. She lived long enough to see PBO win in 2008 and again in 2012 only to succumb to cancer October 2013. She did not think he would win and was wrong. I am sorry she did not live to see the first female president but she was all wrong about PBO. He is the most adequate president that the USA has had in years.
Our pathetic press just got more pathetic.
Just going to leave this here.
Nerdy’s LOLs
http://theobamadiary.com/2015/04/12/end-the-weekend-with-some-laughter/
I’m hoping that the “I want to be that champion” is directed toward the GOP and not an implication that we haven’t had one for the last eight years.
the comments are brutal.
