Hi, GOB, I hope your Easter went well. How are you doing this morning?

      • April 6, 2015 at 1:39 pm

Hey, Jackie. My Easter went well. I made pot roast and garlic mashed potatoes along with some veggies. It was pretty good. Less pain this morning but fell asleep not long after posting a comment here. SMH. That’s why my reply to you is late. 🙂

    Morning, Chips and TOD.

“This guy is the VP of Communications for a University?”

That’s the affirmative action that’s never documented or discussed…

Exactly. His dad is @JohnOakey7 and is a newscaster for KETV and based on the tweets on his timeline, he approves of his son looking at the skirt lengths of children. The apple truly didn’t fall far from the tree.

Wonder how much time this guy spends eying the ‘skirt lengths’ of the women at his college. What a creep!

Morning all. Can’t wait to hear about the fun at the White House today. Yesterday was a lovely day with family and I’m ready for a holiday–the kind that requires nothing but lying in the sun near the beach.

Well, to be fair, if I could afford it, I’d hire Michelle Obama’s image guru because no one on this planet looks as good as she does. Of course, gurus aren’t magicians and there would be a limit to how much he could accomplish with me since FLOTUS has such great basic material and is ..ahem….several years younger. See how I didn’t mention HRC here.

        • April 6, 2015 at 9:44 am

          hahahah,,,

on a more somber note….Looks like Kane is in trouble…..

PF, you can’t imagine how disappointed I am. I had hoped Kathleen Kane would challenge Toomey, but now that dream is shattered. Just hope she doesn’t sour the chances of any other Democratic AG.

            • April 6, 2015 at 11:31 am

i know..i do not know if she did anything wrong…but an attorney general has to be above reproach…what about this do folks not get….

what do you think about Sestax chances of unseating
Toomey…i saw a tweet over the weekend that related how Rendell was endorsing Sestax over Toomey…Imagine that…

Why is she running again? Isn’t the goopers who have the tradition of losers – mcangry/mittbot/sickrantorum – running again & again?

Oh, that’s right, she is a gooper lite.

My comment is that my Entirely Unrealistic wish is that POTUS and FLOTUS people would avoid lady Walmart.
However—-consultants are mercenaries, hired guns, and they go to whoever pays them.

    • April 6, 2015 at 9:55 am

Hillary thinks if she hires all of the Obama’s staff, she’ll have the same kind of win. OPTICS.

        April 6, 2015 at 10:11 am

Good luck to HRC if that is what she thinks. Consultants work with what they have: What PBO had is a universe away from the campaign-in-waiting.

If Jeb Bush is Spanish, then I am Chinese. Unless George HW Bush had a fling in South America, Jeb is the child of George and Barbara, just as I am the child of two very definite Italian/Americans. I wonder if he’ll self-identify as Asian Pacific next or maybe he’s really African American. George HW Bush may have had more to him than meets the eye.

Exactly. It’s hilarious seeing conservatives and some reporters on Twitter, twist themselves into pretzel like shapes trying to come up with excuses that don’t sound ludicrous. If this was a Democrat, they’d be screaming. Remember Elizabeth Warren and her Native American ancestry?

          April 6, 2015 at 9:22 am

But Elizabeth was a democrat – the media loves another Bush GOPer – doesn’t matter how he lies.

Regarding Elizabeth Warren and her Native American background…….almost everyone who was born in Oklahoma between 1900 and now has some Native American genealogy. The uproar always showed an ignorance of a particular part of the country to me. The belittlers needed to do some reading and investigating before jumping on her. Evidently she didn’t have enough Native American to be enrolled on the lists, but I imagine she has some in her background. Jeb on the other hand…….is pandering, as Bushes always do.

Warren didn’t declare this to gain advantage but to learn more of her heritage. You are absolutely correct about the levels of Native American ancestry for people born in Oklahoma after 1900. I had a friend who was on the Cherokee rolls who explained all of this to me.

    Hi Chips,

hope you are still on line. Now I understand your passion for Manchester United. Yesterday ESPN was showing The Magic of the FA Cup – Manchester United’s Greatest Games. They were really good. Saw some spectacular goals. The best was from Giggs after being tackled by about 10 others. Of course the first game I saw was against Chelsea (3-0) to Manchester of course. Therewe were goals from Rooney and Beckham. Please Nerdy, do not put me in spam.

Speaking on Sunday on CNN, Mr Netanyahu said: “Not a single centrifuge is destroyed. Not a single nuclear facility is shut down, including the underground facilities that they build illicitly. Thousands of centrifuges will keep spinning, enriching uranium. That’s a very bad deal.”

But Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, a possible Republican presidential candidate, said it was “probably the best deal that Barack Obama could get with the Iranians” and that he would wait to see how the final agreement looked before passing judgement.

“I don’t mind giving the administration the time between now and June to put this deal together,” he told CBS.
