Good afternoon, GGail! I guess they’re hinting we should start working off some of the Easter chocolate some of us may have been consuming in a rather profligate manner.
Plus the chewing, GGail. Can’t forget the chewing. And all those digestive muscles too! I am staring at an Easter basket filled with Lindt Easter eggs and a Lindt chocolate bunny from a daughter who knows me well. I am getting pretty creative with the exercise thing! (And thanks, I’m glad to be here. I’m on spring break so I can hang out a bit more).

I attended a funeral last year in Georgia and the Funeral Home gave these out to the family.(in white)
I thought that it was a nice touch. We all know what tissues will do when the combination of sweat and tears.
As a young girls my sisters and I got into a lot of trouble laughing at family members who had residue of tissue rolls on their faces.
Especially them men with their bristle beards. We just found that hilarious! Looking back then, we teenage girls found most things hilarious….
Today they would not even know what that beautiful flowery piece of material would be used for….so sad.

While working out I watched “Live with Michael and Kelly.” They were broadcasting from the White House Egg Roll. They interviewed FLOTUS. She was just stunning. The hosts and guests were very honorific towards the First Lady and the President. Seemed like everyone was having a great time.
I just listened to Dr. Moniz briefing the press on the Iran Deal. Man, that made my day – a real physicist explaining nuclear energy, nuclear medical isotope and nuclear weapons technology, the differences and the “parameters”, i.e. the limiting numbers.
What got reported up to now about the negotiations sounded to me as the “fog of war”, but this at least made sense.

Positive Outcome for Azusa, California, Environmental Justice Community – Prospective Purchaser Agreement for Sale of Reichhold Inc. Chemical Manufacturing Facility – Courtesy of the Environment and Natural Resources Division
On March 26, 2015, the Department of Justice approved a Prospective Purchaser Agreement (PPA) with Reichhold, LLC for the purchase of a chemical manufacturing business on 8.8 acres in Azusa, California. The property is part of the San Gabriel Valley Area 2 Superfund Site, Baldwin Park, California, Operable Unit and is located in an environmental justice community, where approximately 79 percent of the population is Latino, 35 percent of the population lives below two times the federal poverty level and 25 percent of the population over the age of 25 has less than a high school education level.

Notably, the legislation also blocks the Louisiana government from taking away state contracts and tax benefits from business owners because of the owners’ views on same-sex marriage.
So Schumer, Senator Reid and the Dem Caucus’ overwhelming choice to be their next leader, is bucking President Obama and signing on to Corker’s bill that calls for a Congressional vote on the deal.

It was reported yesterday, can’t remember where, that PBO has a ” waiver ” included in the Congressional Sanctions Law that is now in place….
He can activate it to lift those sanctions if Congress refuses to repeal them.
He can lift the executive branch placed sanctions at any time .

Last week, the 117 yrs old from Japan left us…..leaving the AR 116 yrs old soon to be 117 yrs as the oldest in the world.
There were 5 of these lovely oldest people and now, sadly, Only 3 are left.

Add Domino’s to the list of companies coming under pressure to raise pay.
“We’ve gotta pay more to get people right now,” Domino’s CEO Patrick Doyle said in an appearance on CNBC on Monday morning. “The great news is the economy is moving, it is getting better, it’s getting harder to hire people.”
Doyle did not announce a broad raise for his company’s lowest-paid workers, but other big employers have recently, including McDonald’s and Walmart.

In my opinion, he and his staff are doing a STELLAR job of “selling” the Iran Deal.
I really hate how the media keeps framing this as President Obama is trying to “sell” “scrambling” on the deal…making it like he some nefarious used car salesman that just got you to buy a car with sawdust in the gas tank.

A Louisiana lawmaker has introduced an anti-gay religious freedom bill that is broader than the controversial one Indiana Gov. Mike Pence (R) pushed in Indiana and then was forced to clarify after national criticism.
The Louisiana bill, introduced by state Rep. Mike Johnson, lets businesses refuse to serve same sex couples, just like the one in Indiana.
But the Louisiana proposal also goes a step further and allows a private company to not offer benefits to same-sex married couples if there are religious objections, according to the New Orleans Times Picayune. Notably, the legislation also blocks the Louisiana government from taking away state contracts and tax benefits from business owners because of the owners’ views on same-sex marriage.
