There are two urgent questions that must be answered today:
1) What feast is Donna planning for her extended family on this Easter Sunday?
2) How does JOB go about caging all the black licorice jelly beans from her family?
The answer to the last question is vital since black licorice jellybeans are the prize of the Easter baskets and battle plans have to be drawn early and well. Having had two much older sisters I was often defeated in the jellybean battle and I’ve sought revenge ever since.
Sometimes..just sometimes..the American people are smarter than the GOP gives them credit for. People don’t want war and they actually appreciate serious efforts at peace.
This morning before I got out of bed I said I was going to try and not let these people upset me, but when I see the name Chuck Todd, something just washes over me.
Benjamin Netanyahu has imprisoned 1.8 million people in Gaza and killed 2,200 of them last summer with an unrelenting bombardment from land,air, and sea.
In the West Bank Israelis travel on separate roadways for much of the territory. Well-paved empty roads. Others use old unpaved crowded pathways.
Israel is a giant prison camp. There are high walls, watchtowers, and gates everyplace. In Jerusalem, your view will be of the holy places in the tourist photos but also of the endless stone barricades.
Americans supporting this apartheid state are the same ones that supported our abortive efforts in Iraq and Afghanistan. Rachel visited both of those war sites and showed us the US Military putting up the concrete barriers and roadblocks attempting to turn those countries into facsimilies of Israel. Fortuneatly, this effort largely did not succeed.
I am asking myself today what is the media and GOP trying to achieve by their futile opposition to the Iran Deal?
The World stands behind this Deal.
Bibi and Israel will be more alone than ever.
The NY Times story today about the vast amount of money funding Tom Cotton from individual wealthy jews is bad for ordinary jews like me, who love our country and Our President.
I believe this story will have a happy ending. The Deal will go through. A more peaceful and just world will be coming.

As someone stated/tweeted in one of the previous posts, one shouldn’t discuss the Iran Deal unless they were either involved in drafting it or have *thoroughly* read it and *truly understand* what it entails. It should not be those pontificating what they want us to believe it says and in essence promoting their agenda.
I agree that most of us are happy that diplomacy is being tried and that there is not a rush to war.

That’s always been an irritation of mine, bella…always hearing that a plan is not good without them saying what’s not good about it; then not having a plan that would supposedly be better…probably because they have no plan, or their plan is no different than what’s there…but then they’re counting on no one pushing them to disclose a plan.
