Are there any pics of the Kennedy boys, Patrick & Ted Jr there at today’s event? If they were there, were they sitting with Vicki? I’m limited in my ability to search while at work

I saw that earlier at TPM and I was flabbergasted. 2 people in KY, in the GOP and were “politicians” committing Suicide for “Jewish Whisper”?
      I am lost with words.

When folks say: Stick and stones may break one’s back, but Never Words…..I have always argued that Words were more lethal for Scars may fade, wounds may heal, but with acute memory within most of Us, Words do much damage.

I hope these things are ringing home with those who think their votes don’t count, and they’ll be motivated to vote this next time around. Otherwise, this country [and the world] will be in serious trouble.

For that to happen, theo, the word has to get out and the impact understood. The Indiana stupidity has gotten a lot of coverage, so it’s beginning to be well known around the country. This Ohio trick needs to be more widely publicized.

They are probably on administrative leave receiving their salaries or if they are fired they get their full pensions. This has got to stop and the only way this stops is if these people are held financially responsible or the cities/counties are held financially responsible. I am not talking a couple of thousands but in the millions of dollars.

True…True..True….and we have been fighting for full rights as citizens ever since….it took the 19th amendment to allow white women to vote…

During Reconstruction, three amendments to the Constitution were made in an effort to establish equality for black Americans.

The Thirteenth Amendment, adopted in 1865, abolishes slavery or involuntary servitude except in punishment for a crime. The Fourteenth Amendment, adopted in 1868, defines all people born in the United States as citizens, requires due process of law, and requires equal protection to all people. The Fifteenth Amendment, ratified in 1870, prevents the denial of a citizen’s vote based on race, color, or previous condition of servitude.

and still this was not enough to grant blk folks their full rights as citizens…

so many more laws had to be passed…the VRA, the CRA, Fair Housing Act…and the list goes on and on…….and stilllllllllllllll we battle on…

      as Rep Lewis says….

We have to stand up…speak up…speak out!

that’s an odd phrase they use huh? Per Google, walking the plank was a form of punishment thought to have been practiced on special occasion by pirates, mutineers, and other rogue seafarers. For the amusement of the perpetrators (and the psychological torture of the victims), captives were forced to walk off a wooden plank or beam extended over the side of a ship, until falling into the water.

They need to check GWB too. I think he had dementia before being annointed president by SCOTUS and definitely after he choked on that pretzel before Barney woke him up.

You know, it wouldn’t surprise me at all, given all the bumbles and fumbles he made over the years. Could also be a reason behind why he has been so remarkably silent since his departure from office. You never know.
