reading the Washington Post ‘fact checker.’ My opinion of fact checkers in the mainstream media is that they are known to making rulings that seem to please both side of the fence via twisting things to make it look like one side is completely wrong.

Thanks Chips. I don’t know what happened to my other comment so I will post again.

I am very impressed with the questions PBO asks and the explanations of these young people. I love that PBO is getting this young people hooked up with the heads of Departments where these kids could be interns. I was very impressed with ALL of them. We really have some smart young people in America and we need to showcase them but the MSM is too busy highlighting celebrity antics of the Kardasians, Justin Bieber, Kanye West, and Miley Cyrus.

I read, probably here on TOD, that most women who earn engineer degrees and work for companies that are mostly run by men and have a lot of men are belittled and bullied so they leave. It would be so cool if the women who are able to succeed or if the government can start a consortium that would be mostly women who could bring these inventions to fruition and encourage women to succeed in science.

Good day Chips, Danny and TOD! Love the expressions on these girls’ faces. If even one of them is inspired to become a scientist it will be fabulous for the country.

I have been chuckling all day at the thought of Cruz making his announcement at “Liberty” U, emphasizing liberty in his speech, and then the U makes it MANDATORY for all of the students to attend:-) The hypocrisy that is the GOP knows no bounds, but it is just so apropos that it is Cruz’ announcement speech. What idiots. But I am happy that he is in. He will force all of the other RWNJs out in the open so the American people can see them for what they are. The clown car has arrived! I would like to know, however, how many students in that audience have health insurance through their parents’ policies thanks to OCare, which Cruz of course vowed to repeal. Again, more hypocrisy.

      From the article:
Hasen continues: “As Iโ€™ve long argued, the best way for liberals to cut their losses is to stay out of the Supreme Court when possible. Things could have been worse if the Court took Wisconsin than if they didnโ€™t. And if you trust Justice Ginsburg, trust her her in not voting to grant cert in this case.”

EXTREMELY important point, prettyfoot! This SCOTUS is the most corrupt since the Dred Scott days. To continually trust that they will follow law, precedent and the Constitution is folly.

Here in IL, our teaPublican governor tried to get a union-busting lawsuit into the Federal courts just for this reason, but the Federal Court said it belonged in the state court. What is maddening – I would have thought the Dems and the unions would have brought the first suit, but the governor did. Goes to show, they know how to move their agenda ahead.

Make believe TV is just that made up.
The delusion that is the pollsters and the fools they poll.
Pat Robertson is wishing and wanting Reagan back from the dead for his ‘Leadership”……Robertson must have forgotten that Ron Reagan, one of the sons, wrote a book telling that his father was suffering from Alzheimer while in office. Leslie Stahl of CBS said pretty much the same thing. She also claimed that many reporters knew it.

    • March 23, 2015 at 6:41 pm

These pollster are full of alot of B.S. If someone ask me such a question, I would tell them that one has to deal with real problems of the world, and one is a actor who pretends he is dealing with real problems of the world. Now why would I compare that. It makes no sense at all. But what else do I expect from these polls?

Twice people voted for PBO – for the person and his policies yet 3 times (2010,12,14) the GOP has had it’s numbers in congress increased – ensuring those policies cannot be properly implemented. The GOP is offering hate, unemployment, starvation, war and no health care – what is it about these policies that people vote for?

      // …..
Davis told “SportsCenter” on Monday that she wrote an email to the school asking officials to reinstate Casselberry.

“Everyone makes mistakes,” Davis said. “Everyone deserves a second chance. I know he didn’t mean it in that type of way. I know people get tired of seeing me on TV. But sometimes you got to think about what you’re doing before you do it.

“It hurt on my part, but he hurt even more. If it was me, I would want to take that back. I know how hard he’s worked. Why not give him a second chance?”

The university released a statement to the media Monday confirming that Davis had reached out.

“Her request demonstrates the type of person she is, her level of maturity and the empathy that her family and coach teach her,” its statement read. “Bloomsburg University stands firm on our decision; however, his consequences will be reviewed as is common in disciplinary actions like this.” ……………………………………… //
