I have no idea how much Starbucks pays their employees, but can you imagine having a job where you have to engage customers in conversations about race? You work two jobs just to keep a roof over your head and some billionaire with nothing to do sends down a fucking edict from on high forcing you to talk about something that he or she doesn’t have to worry about, let alone talk about.

LL,I remember someone ask some woman a question like that and all she did was come up with some stupid answer which made no sense. In other words trying to make excuses for Ted Cruz who wasn’t born in this country. Those tea party racists excuses.

Spent the day with Peanut and her mother. We did breakfast/lunch at the Golden Corral…then the afternoon at Chuck-E-Cheese. I know that it can wear on you, but I like it. Watching a place that just makes kids happy. I love seeing the beautiful diversity in children, all races, shapes, ethnicities, sizes. Seeing what little thing just brings a smile to their faces. Peanut had a ball

Bibi: “It’s all Obama’s fault that I said I was against a 2 state solution!”

    Liqud/republican logic.

once again NW great set of tweets! 😀

On Fareed Zacharia today, there was a discussion about strained relations between President Obama and Prime Minister Netanyahu. And of course, there was a republican who tried to put the blame on President Obama.

It’s pretty obvious Republicans have received their talking points. Watch for all republican spokesmen to repeat the same thing over and over again. Netanyahu showed his ugly colors last week and republicans are rallying in the damage control operation.

We have to push back. Because we just KNOW the media will help them in their quest to change the story.

I shared a few weeks ago about my friend who was after me to read John Hagee’s book, Jerusalem Countdown. Then the next book she pushed on me was Ben Carson’s, America the Beautiful. She went on and on about how intelligent and informed he is “on so many subjects.” I was nice, but made it clear I would never be reading either of those books. Well, today she called and we talked about our families, health issues, etc. Then somehow the conversation turned to PO. I stressed how personal I feel about the fact that he has been SO disrespected, marginalized, delegitimized, demeaned and undervalued and added that those things are like an umbrella over every issue, regardless of what the issue is. That took her into ME and Israel. OMG! Back on Hagee’s book, rambling on and on about the Tower of Babal, how the Jews were the CHOSEN people and how we all have Jewish blood…..the origin of everyone of us. I let her talk and ramble, then thankfully found a way to change the subject. Geez. They are total Fox News watchers. S.C.A.R.Y. She said she prays every night for this president and if he doesn’t change his mind about Israel, we are all doomed. Lord, help us!!!!!!!!!!!! I know the people who believe this are in the minority, but it is still scary.

Tell her humans all came from Africa, so we all have African blood to be proud of!

        • March 22, 2015 at 8:59 pm

lol. When she said that, I did tell her that we all had AA blood in us. That’s when she said that the Jews were way before that…….they were the first. Sigh………..

Hey Tnmtngil, I read what you’ve said. Tell her that Netanyahu is the one putting Israel in more danger. He is sinning against YHVH by murdering innocent people & creating an apartheid state Tell her I thought she was pro-life, if she was, she would see what wicked thing he is doing. It is written “And oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor; and let none of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart.”, Zechariah 7:10. And by the way some of the people in the Gaza Strip are saved Palestinians, Messianic Jews and other life. So in Bibi’s eyes, their lives are less than his but Not in YHVH’s eyes.

      • March 22, 2015 at 9:05 pm

Would love to tell her that. However, for right-wingers like her, putting absolute proof or scripture in front of them makes zero difference. They are RIGHT and there’s no convincing otherwise. This couple is from northern OH and they attend a small
Lutheran church here in east TN. They moved here 11 years ago and were not like this then. (We’ve known them since early 80’s when Jon worked for my husband.). It is the perfect example of how powerful Fox News and right-wing radio are.

Then she has chosen what the scripture describes her and others, willingly ignorant. Calling what is good evil and evil good.

However, keep giving her the scriptures, especially the new testament.
