These days, some equate Military Service as expert on Foreign Policy. Not…..especially when in the Military service……mainly, her requirement was to take orders unless she was one with Commanding Rank and Title……. and even with that, tactics, planning for military battle is different from political Foreign Policy and Diplomatic experience.
I am going by my little knowledge of what I have observed from a distance and talking to a handful of people……so pardon me if I am off my marbles on this.
I hope they are checking to make sure people have only signed once. I know I made sure I only signed once, but signing many online petitions makes it easy to accidentally sign more than once.
Thanks for all the great posts! My wife and I are very busy now helping my daughter and son-in-law care for the newly born twins. They were born a week ago Sat. AM. They are about a month premature as my daughter had pre-eclampsia condition and was spiking High BP. They are named Paul (6 lbs 4oz)and Lucia (4lbs 12 oz)(Italian pronunciation). Paul was born easily and naturally, Lucia was a breach so they had to do an emergency c-section. My daughter is slowly recovering and her BP is stabilizing. We are going over several hours a day to provide respite, and I am preparing the dinner meal for the family. We only live ten minutes away, so I am glad we can help. They do need it. My daughter has three months maternity leave and then she will need to return to her job as an oncology hospital nurse, 2/3 time. Then we will be doing day care on the days she works.
Lucia was the middle name of my own Italian mother, her full name, Renata Diana Lucia Sari. And my oldest granddaughte- 4 yr old- is named after my Italian immigrant grandmother, Matilda Sari. My daughter has a sense of family lineage.
I think it is just lovely when the ancestral names and energies are brought forward into the future. Certainly their DNA is present, and probably their loving energy is all around!
“It takes a village.” It Certainly does! My grandparents helped raise me, especially my grandmother. I’m forever blessed and grateful. So the currents of love and care come full circle.
Indeed they do Bill. Having raised twin sons myself I knew what my son and daughter in law where in for. I was determined to make life a little easier for them so I have been there beck-and-call girl from the moment they arrived home from the hospital. It has been pure joy!

My Sister who came before the twins had twins(boy and a girl) who were also born slightly over a month premature. They are now in their forties with children of their own.
Did you see my comment to you. I have friends who are friends to your children. Just after you announced the birth of the twins I was on Facebook and a friend put on the announcement of twins, boy & girl, born at 2:17 on March 7. I didn’t see how there could be two sets of twins born at the same time with the same names. It is a small world. Know they will be the joy of your life. Congrats!!!

Two years ago, as New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie pursued re-election, his administration found itself mulling investment options for the state’s $80 billion pension fund. In one deal in May 2013, officials settled on a subsidiary of U.K.-based foreign financial conglomerate Prudential plc. With little fanfare, state pension overseers quickly endorsed the deal.
Weeks later, a Hong Kong-based executive director and board member of Prudential plc delivered a maximum $3,800 contribution to Christie’s gubernatorial campaign, followed by a maximum $32,400 donation to the Republican National Committee, which was about to launch a get-out-the-vote effort for Christie.
