had to laugh at the fact that Tom Cottonmouth was dismayed that the capital of Iran was ran by Iran.

Cottonhead has now had his fifteen minutes of fame, and will become a punchline like Sarah Palin.

Once they have to go off script and answer a question that not included in their talking points, it becomes more obvious that they are operating off of someone else’s script. Walker is another one.

Nerdy, everyone of these tweets is a big story in a small bite and, thanks to you, we get a banquet of them every night. Imagine what a miracle that is–to synthesize an idea, a cultural phenomenon or a huge event in a few words and have other people ‘get’ it. Sometimes I think about what communication used to be–long news articles or breaking alerts on radio and tv that gave us the ‘officially received’ version of everything that happened– and I realize how lucky we are that we have a chance to be the most informed generation in the history of the world, if only we take advantage of it. Twitter is really the mighty roar of the people shouting out to the world that all of our voices are as important as those who ‘designate’ themselves as the so-called professional media. The result is insights, perspectives and truth telling that were never before possible. Thanks for reminding us of that great bounty every single day.

GE. Need to rant a bit and also ask a question. As we were leaving our Life Group (small group) meeting, one person was sharing about a fellow church member’s very ill sister who lives in OH and how awful the program the state has — think he said it’s called Efficient Health. Is NOT ‘efficient’ for the patients…….difficult to see a doctor, etc. Overall, sounds like a really bad program. (Maybe someone from OH can shed some light on this for us.) Anyway, as we walked out, my husband, who is absolutely convinced that Obamacare is the worst scourge ever on this country said, “Get used to that. We’re going to see a lot more of that everywhere.” I had to bite my tongue and not turn to him and say, “PROVE IT, buster.” Not the time or the place, but at some point I will!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Aarrgghh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Neither of is sleeping because of this mess with our daughter’s marriage, probably divorce so both on edge. Things like that just makes it worse and makes me furious.

Thanks for listening to my rant. Saying goodnight and sure hope I sleep tonight. Sigh…………

Random – Probably discussed here already, but I noted McCain said the President’s visit to the VA was “a photo op.”

The turd McCain failed to recall, I guess, he was standing next to the President (shudders) at the very same photo op. I guess he kept himself out of the photos … NOT.

HOW MUCH LONGER DO WE HAVE TO PUT UP WITH McCAIN? He makes my blood boil, every time I think about him.

(Glad I got that out of my system. Forward!)

Ha! I am so tired of McCain, that I have to keep pulling myself from the edge of some very bad thoughts about him.

Flip Floppin’ McCain can’t help but flip flop. It’s part of the republican motto.

So far he’s blamed the weather for signing the Iran letter and now he can’t recall that he was at the very same photo op. What a douche bag.

Working on a project and checked the news about Putin …. well, its ~ 923 am in St Petersburg & Moscow … no sign of Putin … twitter is getting a tad bit frenzied …. and, of course, in the past several hours all the stuff about Vlad being ready to activate his nukes during his invasion/occupation of Crimea has surfaced.

Going to be a rough ride these next few hours if the dude doesn’t emerge all smiles and snappy ….

Good morning, TOD family! Hello, Ms. Chips!
I am just catching up from the weekend.
I spent most of the weekend helping a friend out with an estate sale. Four decades of “stuff” from a four-story brownstone!
After I am rested I am going to tackle my closets. It helped me to realize what I have stored is really just “junk”.

PBO got jokes! And them some…..
Reading them all were spot on. I needed that in so many ways. It hurts to laugh, but worth it.
I would have loved to hear the timing and seen the gestures.
An intelligent person with a good sense of humor has my undivided attention.

Well, it’s another day. Another week. I am glad I can come here to make some sense of it all.
Thank you everyone for keeping me well informed.
NW, the tweets are superb(as usual)…..especially the ones I get.
    Mr. Bobfr, thank you.
Ms. Dudette, I love your tribute to QJ.
Back to bed, too sore to walk this morning and it looks like a beautiful day in NYC….finally!

    • March 16, 2015 at 6:49 am

Morning LDS and others as you show up. Notice I didn’t say “good” morning. Have been awake since 3:25. Mind does not shut off. I must reread nanci’s directive! I’m going to get dressed and go to the Y, stretch and exercise. Husband has left with a good friend for 3 days of hiking. That will help him. Maybe being alone for these days will also help me.

df, I did see otter44’s note. We have hooked up and she is actually calling me this morning 9:00 EST which is 6:00 her time!!!!! Can you believe that?! This TOD family is indeed a family and a wonderful support system. Chips, do you have ANY idea the lives you’ve changed?
