Congrats NCLB🎉
Thanks, Vetivera.
You are a champ Nerdy!
Thanks, Vetivera24!
NW, what a recapitulation! Thank you. Job well done!
Thanks, NCLB.
Congratulations on first.
Snuck right by me! Well done NCLB!
I THINK THIS IS ONE OF THOSE DAYS YOU JUST DON’T WANT TO REPEAT…WELL…YOU ONLY GO ROUND’ ONCE…SO YOU WON’T!…NICE CHOICE OF BUGS…MY NICKNAME! BEATS SHITFLY!…THAT’S RUSTY’S!
Boehner’s House of Chaos, take 2:
I HAVE DECIDED THAT IF THEY CAN CANCEL DHS…I CAN CANCEL AG HOLDER’S DEPARTURE….HURRY UP..PUT THE SUPERGLUE ON HIS CHAIR…DON’T FORGET TO FEED HIM!
BEAUTIFUL PORTRAIT TOO BTW…BUT THEY WILL NEVER FIND THE RIGHT PAINT TO REPLACE HIS CHARACTER…THEY BROKE THE MOLD ON THAT ONE TOO!
Yes. I wonder, though, with the delay in approving the nomination of Loretta Lynn, that AG Holder may be there as long as PBO.
Yet again, you shine NW!!! Thank you!!
——–
““She is categorically against what is happening in Ukraine, she thinks it’s a catastrophe and a total nightmare. However more than Ukraine, she’s worried about Putin. Every time I ring her, she laments: “When will you stop criticizing Putin? He’ll kill you!” And she really means it.”
Thanks, Bob.
You’re special, NW.
Thank you so much for this kindness, Bob.
He said he wouldn’t turn the other cheek, well was it bluster or does he have what it takes to recognize the obvious, if he doesn’t lead Ukraine in stopping Putin, Putin will continue, just as Hitler did ….
If I remember correctly, deciding not to report campus rapes is not an option. Part of a federal mandate for campus safety reporting.
This is a special brotherhood going on here. PBO has been very emotion today and a few weeks ago when announcing AG Holder’s departure. They are contemporaries – two brilliant AA lawyers who are fighting for civil rights and dignity for all. It was a privilege to watch today’s ceremony. I doubt we will ever see such a thing at this level again. XOXOXOXO
“A special brotherhood” – That is the term. The send off today was emotional and a joy to witness. The respect, love, admiration, friendship, and loyalty President Obama and Attorney General Holder have for each other is an honor to have witnessed these past years. They are both great men indeed.
I wish him well in everything he does going forward.
BRAVO, NerdyWonka!!
🙂
Not to worry. I am mad at both!
HAVE HAD A BRUTAL DAY OF BACKACHES…GOODNIGHT EVERYONE………….WILL PRAY FOR SUNSHINE!
Feel better, Sue! 🙂
All you need to be more informed than most of America, right here. Many thanks, Nerdy:)
🙂
Can Boehner be trusted?
I am holding my breadth. That man is either a jerk or he’s drunk all the time.
I hope they don’t do one week. Force them to do the right thing now.
News you can use.
Just brilliant Nerdy, thank you for this wonderful round-up.
Got some gutwrenching news today, a work colleague died suddenly last night after playing a game of soccer – he was just 36, a father of three, the eldest seven, the youngest born only last week. Seven days old when his Dad died. I can’t even begin to imagine the pain his wife is enduring.
He was the sweetest, kindest, most generous fella you’d ever meet, with a heart of gold. And he made me roar with laughter, he was a rascal with a big cheeky grin. And more than anything in the world, he loved being a Dad.
I can’t begin to comprehend the cruelty of him being taken away from his kids and his wife who he adored. I just can’t.
Years ago, my best mate in school was murdered, he was gay so he got little sympathy from the judge even in death, his killer only got three years and was out in less than two to resume his life.
I never thought I’d attend a more heartbreaking funeral, but next Tuesday will feel as unjust and cruel.
Please think of his wife and children tonight, I won’t ask any one to pray because right now any smidgeon of faith I ever had is drained.
Night everyone.
There are no words to say that will ease your grief in this moment. I will trust that there is a bigger plan in the universe that we just don’t know. My thoughts and prayers to his wife and children. {{{Chips}}}
His family and you, Chips, will be in my thoughts ….
OMG, Chips. What a horribly sad and inexplicable turn of events. My heart goes out to you. TODville will certainly keep him and his family in our thoughts. XOXO
I am so sorry that such horrible news invaded your space today, Chips. There is no explanation for why the good ones seem to be snatched cruelly from us.
I will be keeping him, his wife, his children, his family, and friends like you in my thoughts. May his happy, kind, and, generous soul rest in eternal peace.
Oh Chips, that is so tragic. It is so damaging and senseless for a young father and husband to have his life cut so short. I hope for the best going forward for this bereaved family.
Sorry to hear that sad news, chips.
Sorry to hear that, Chips. I’ll keep the family of this young man in my prayers tonight.
will pray anyway Chips.
My condolences to his family and to you.
Awww Chips. So very sorry. Sometimes life just seems incredibly cruel.
What an awful tragedy – so sorry that this good man was taken from his family and friends way too soon. Sending thoughts of condolence to you.
Oh, Chips, I am so sorry about this terrible tragedy and the loss of such a young father. I hope you’ll take the time to deal with this blow and put aside all other concerns for a while. My heart goes out to that young family and all they have lost.
Oh no. {{{{{ ❤ }}}}} Chipsticks. My heart is with you.
{{{Chips}}}
I’m so sorry for your loss Chips. He sounds like a guy who lived and loved well. It’s unbelievably unfair that people like him are ripped from the world at such a young age. What a shitty day today has been. Hugs and love to you, the rest of his colleagues and his family.
{{Chipsticks}}, I’m so sorry for the loss of your colleague. My thoughts and prayers go out to his wife and his children.
Chips – that is horrible! It has been an awful 24 hours!
That is gut wrenching. I am so sorry for not just his family, but your loss too. Life can be so cruel sometimes. 😦
(((MsChips)))
Chips – I had to come back to find your original post, since I hadn’t seen it last night. I am so very sorry for your loss, and for your colleague’s family’s loss. When you attend his funeral, please know we’re all figuratively there with you, to hold you up. Love ya.
Oh Jacqueline, thank you so much, I know you have a special and beautiful faith, please say a prayer for his wife and children, I know yours will be heard. Thank you again, you’re so good.
That just brought a little moisture to my eye, Chips,, meant a lot. I already said a prayer for them and you – can’t hurt. You know I’m part Irish, maybe I expect stuff like this to happen because of it,, and I always picture these dear people in heaven eating ice cream, waiting for the rest of us to get to the party. Helps me miss them less. But that doesn’t mean I don’t recognize your pain. So sorry, my dear one.
Although I lurk EVERYDAY, I had to comment today on this heart wrenching news…gone so young! I am totally in agreement with you that others who commit heinous crimes get to go on and live a long life while those who should be here are taken away so soon. May God bless his wife and kids and I hope he is in a much better place.
So sorry so hear about this loss. Hurts a lot although I do not know him, but the thought of those kids without a dad….

Great news about the dress.
Some days it feels like the only thing keeping us from tipping into madness is President Obama and Nancy Pelosi.
he could have done this all along. exactly.
Excellent Collection of Tweets, Nerdy Wonka.
Great job!
Thanks, Nena.
THIS!!!! Bobfr, Nancy Pelosi is a true leader.
Nancy Pelosi:
When will they ever learn? said Pelosi, speaking of the Speaker and his flock. Just take the shortest path to get the job done for the American people.
I don’t have any intention of getting involved in the politics of that caucus. They have enough trouble getting along with each other, I don’t think I should inject myself into that. Thank you all.
With these words, our dear Nancy Pelosi left behind the TODDLERS asking stupid questions.
JMO: As we can see, I think the long knives are out for Boehner, both House and Senate.
Just heard Rachel say that a lot of Repugs have been booked on the Sunday shows this Sunday. They had intentions of bragging on how they defeated PBO. Karma is a B%%%%. My question to Rachel is how is this Sunday any different from other Sundays? They always book all Republicans.
Ha! That’s funny. GOP own the airwaves. And right now they are making utter fools of themselves, WRIT LARGE.
Joke’s on Netanyahu.
What is his shoe size?
Is Santorum going to be in any of those boots on the ground in Iraq or Syria? Let’s not be so eager to send someone else child over there to fight your war Mr. Santorum.
Someone had the same thought!!!
Ridiculous.
I may be in the minority here in disagreeing with Nancy’s call to the dems to vote for the short-term. No way boner is gonna the senate bill to vote next week. Meanwhile, the fifth columnist fourth estate will paint the dems as joining hands with the teabagger nutsos.
… gonna bring the senate bill …
I am with you on this one……why save Boehner’s face, yet again over the Security of USA?
Why?
Boehner is So unreliable.
haven’t we seen this cowardly clown’s ugly ass being ‘saved’ too many times to fall for it again?
amk I am with you on that. There is no reason why they can’t vote on a clean bill now.
unless she is convinced he can’t get the short term bill to pass and wants to expose that. I don’t see the value either.
He doesn’t have the votes.
doesn’t have votes for what? clean bill? I doubt it. In any case, why not bring it to the floor and test that theory? After all, his own senate ‘colleagues’ voted for it.
He compromises his leadership, which he deems vastly more important than the nation’s business.
House and Senate two very different animals. Boehner’s “leadership” is hanging by a thread, probably because who else would want it. The caucus is fractioned beyond belief and there is no control. Republicans are fighting for power with a wagon full of a bunch of idiots.
I am sorry. I have seen too many boner’s sorry ass is cooked now fake memes to trust it now.
I don’t if he’s cooked. I’m just saying that the line of people who are out for his ass is getting longer.
House vote in progress…..

Just reading Garry Kasparov I say how hypocritical when he goes on Fox news on regular basis to bash the President. I guess he was cheering Rudy Giuliani and all the right wing nuts when they were praising Putin for being strong and decisive. Just don’t think that he is credible in this regard.
Thanks for the information. I don’t watch Fox News, so I had no clue.
fuck off, you bubblehead. not everything is about the goppers. how about the actual real people who will be affected by this?
Good grief! But it’s so true.
Good to remember, indeed.
just wait when this lame ass coward does the same today and blames her for the vote today. and the msm will nod and spread it.
So it looks like the vote has passed the House for 1 week of funding for DHS.
Tune in for same thing same time next week.
Same bat time, same bat channel, Meta. 🙂
YEAH, COS!!
and now the dems will get 100% of the blame. just watch.

Republicans took the Senate and increased their majority in the House. They got rid of the reviled Harry Reid and handed Mitch McConnell the gavel. They told us the gridlock was over, now they’d get things done. You remember this, right?
But, as always, conservatives can’t even agree on the things they agree on.
They can’t even achieve compromise within their own caucus when the security of the nation, supposedly their top priority, is on the the line.
Now, ask yourself something, if Republicans can’t even agree among themselves on something they already agree on, how then is their inability to compromise with the executive Obama’s fault?
The simple truth of the matter is that these intractable sons of bitches can’t govern themselves, let alone the rest of the country. It’s no wonder whatsoever why they can’t sway Democrats to their side in enough numbers to override a veto or to unite the nation, they can’t even convince themselves.
We have entered fully the WACKOLAND.
Pretty sure he’ll be crying tonight… with a glass on his hand.
I don’t know if these Republicans can be trusted. I just don’t know. My only hope is that it is dealing with homeland security and no one want to put this country at any more risk then it already is. So we will see what will happen, but it is ashame that these kind of people are serving in Congress, what ashame. These Republicans are a bunch of radical right wing racists nuts.
I am surprised it took them that long. From watching each of them after the big elections night, I didn’t see any sane person among them. It’s a bunch of wacko-birds as McLoss said!
Is this how the GOP want people to see America’s EXCEPTIONALISM? With elected officials not doing their job, funding the security of the nation one week at a time after 5 votes? A Congress with only goal in mind: undermining the power, the prestige, the function of the Executive Branch?
New post.

Will he keep his word ?
I’ll believe it when I see it.
