This is why the media is going after VP Biden…he’s currently the biggest threat to their preferred choice. And by the way – I don’t think her lead is as big as it appears…

Steph Curry is one of very few men who can stand next to PBO and still look good. This guy is awesome on the court and apparently off the court as well.

In a less cheerful observation, the total of legislators who have announced they will skip Bibi’s speech still stands at 26 House and 4 Senate members. Not a large enough amount to get anyones attention.

    • February 26, 2015 at 9:45 am

Steph Curry is a great shooter and his team has the best record in the NBA. I remember Curry when he was in college cause his team Davidson beat my favorite college basketball team UNC Tarheels. And I remember Curry’s Dad who was a great shooter too.

      • February 26, 2015 at 10:00 am

I was born in Charlotte and Steph’s dad Dell was one of my favorite Hornets along with Grandmama…..Larry Johnson πŸ˜€ I grew up a State fan and always admired Dean Smith & UNC for how good they always were, but no matter what everyone hated Duke 😎

Didn’t someone say that “seat fillers” will be used to fill up the seats of Legislators who skip the speech? Also, as politics goes, Congress people who will take a stand will likely space out their announcements so they get some attention individually. No one has been able to explain to me (or has even attempted to) what this speech is supposed to accomplish, other than help Bibi at home. Can someone please enlighten me, because from what I am seeing and reading this whole fiasco is making Bibi look very bad and is putting much needed daylight between the two countries. One of the many things I hated about GWB was the way he was Bibi’s “Tony Blair”.

Meta, this should be a source of outrage for every decent person in this country. There is no one more qualified than Loretta Lynch and if she were a white male, she would already have been confirmed. I’m sick to death of this Congress and it’s only been ‘in session’ a few weeks. Every public service group in the country, not to mention all civil rights groups, should be demanding Senate approval of this stellar candidate. In the meantime, I hope Eric Holder comes out every day blazing with new proposals and indictments until the Senate GOP says enough already and confirms Lynch.

    • February 26, 2015 at 9:55 am

We shall see what will happen with Ms. Lynch. That woman is well qualified but once again Republicans are playing games. That is why I loved it last night when POTUS talked about people not getting out to vote. Specially young people. You have countries who are in the heat of war, but yet those citizens still go vote. What does that say about Americans, whatever it says it is not anything good.

      • February 26, 2015 at 10:01 am

Six years people saw the Republicans in action, they knew what the Republicans stood for, who they stood for, but instead of rushing to vote, they didn’t have time, bought into the B.S. that both side were the same. 36% of Americans felt the need to go vote. What a disgrace.

If you to want to install solar panels on your roof but haven’t yet because it’s too expensive, Google really wants to help.
The search giant, valued at $370 billion, is once again boosting its investment in SolarCity’s residential solar power model by $300 million, both companies announced Thursday. Combined with a new financing structure from SolarCity, the companies say this will result in a new fund worth $750 million to help install distributed rooftop solar on homes across the country.

Vote on Loretta Lynch in Judiciary Committee is about to happen on cspan 2.

Jeff Sessions just said she should not be voted out of committee. Schumer speaking now.

Cornyn is a NO on Loretta Lynch because she refused to slam AG Holder when he asked her to. He’s also going on and on sliming PBO.

Mike Lee also a NO on Loretta Lynch.

I guess they want to keep Eric Holder in place then, right ?

Now, here come Ted Cruz . Mute. !

  23. 107 Linda
    February 26, 2015 at 10:35 am

Once again the media and the Republicans are misinforming Americans about the Tx Judge ruling on PBO executive action

It was NOT out on hold because he said it is unconstitutional…. He put it on hold because of a procedural violation of not enough time for public comment.

I am going to guess that Jose Diaz Balart’s performance last night—-rude, interrupting PBO, smug, vain, loud—-will make him the new face of MSNBC. My bet is that Jose will be in the eight o’clock spot by next summer.

Bob had a good tweet last night where he compared Jose to “Bill O’Reilly.” Exactly what i thought also.

Before I get knee deep in work, I would like to say a gigantic THANK YOU to the “quiet one” VC. She had to go to work today, so she sent me a lovely Text this morning wishing me a Happy Birthday. The Text woke me up at 3:30am my time 😯 But I love her anyway because she took the time and thought about me. {{{VC}}} ❀

So far it appears the votes are 10 Yes unless I missed another Repub Yes. What happens if it is a tie ?
