that interviewer drove me crazy. she would ask a question, and without hesitation he would start answering it directly, and sometimes he would be literally 3-4 words in and she’s interrupting asking a different question. WTF?!?! our president of course still rocked it, but that was ridiculous. imagine and republican being able to last more than 1 minute in that interview, especially george bush (either one).

never heard of this company, and many of their videos have 600-700 views over several months, so not sure why he went on here. i watched a couple of her other interviews, and she doesn’t treat the people the same way at all. wonder why that is? what could it be?!?

I think that many reporters…esp the women think that they have to prove (2 whom??) that they are not enamored with the President…that they need to ask tough questions….Politico criticized VOX for interviewing the President …contending that it is pointless to interview him because all he does is promote his policies..duhhhh…what a dumb comment…..and that Vox gave the President softball questions…smh…tvox had GOTCHA questions but at least they allowed him to answer….I wonder if Politico would turn down an interview with the President if it was offered….I think not…..these folks are so juvenile….

An interesting perspective from folk who live it, every day, as residents of Kyiv ….

“Finally, given the inevitability of continued militancy on the part of Putin in the short term, and despite the prospect of the Kremlin sowing the seeds of its own destruction in the medium term, the West must arm Ukraine now. Regardless of any agreements signed in Minsk or elsewhere, a return to peaceful relations between Ukraine and Russia, and between Russia and the West are now impossible. During the foreseeable future, Ukraine will represent a buffer and/or outpost (choose which status you prefer), and therefore is key to the defence of Europe from an aggressive Russia. Furthermore, given the prospect of eventual collapse of the Russian Federation (splintering into multiple states and/or descending into bloody civil war), Ukraine represents a barrier state between a peaceful and relatively stable Europe, and a potentially dangerous Eurasian black hole. Defending its border represents an imperative of survival for the civilized world.”

I’m not sure if booman is acceptable here or not – so if you don’t like his blog – please ignore. He is one of the few I still read & I did like his take on David Marr. I thought I had heard of most US political pundits, but I had not heard of him, until his death. We have a political reporter with the same name in Oz (currently writes for the guardian) – I thought initially it was his death being reported.

“According to my archives, in the entire ten year history of this blog, New York Times media critic David Carr has only been mentioned once on the front page”

    And he quoted Marr – from 2003 – I think it’s worth a read

Gooooood Morning TOD……GM Ms Chipssss and Nerdy Wonka….

i moved recently from Philadelphia to Willow Grove (Philadelphia Suburbs) i am now close to my oldest and her family…such a difference in the political structure from Philadelphia i feel like a novice….

my daughter is a one of the poll officials…i have spoken to her about the need for grass roots organizing, voter registration and GOTV strategies….

there is quite a buzz here after Philadelphia was selected as the site for the 2016 DemConvention…it is exciting to see her excitement…for me not so much…it spells the end of the President’s time in the WH….my daughter is a Hillary Clinton supporter…i asked her why…and she told me that it was because it was time for a woman to be in the WH….so i asked her other than her gender..why should i vote for her…she had no answer….

she wants to be a delegate to the convention…i will heop her gather sigantures…..stay tuned…this will be an interesting adventure
