Aweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesome Nerdy – love all the newsie tweets, but I may never ever ever ever stop laughing at the sandwich thief!! Thank you Legend!!

      Thanks.

      I cracked up too. 🙂

It’s such a dick move. If you look at the picture, it’s a guy who keeps stealing someone else’s food. So typical. If I caught the guy, I’d go for the balls first.

      • February 4, 2015 at 6:28 pm

Part of me loves the sandwich stealer, though – which I know is sooooooooo wrong 🙂

I know, right? I laughed too, because damn, that is some kind of crazy.

But imagine if you’re the one whose food keeps getting stolen. Not once, not twice, but everyday. You’ve taken the time to prepare your food and some dude is stealing it. That’s something that can drive one crazy.

When you hear that a coworker stabbed another coworker, it’s because of stuff like this. LOL.

          • February 4, 2015 at 6:37 pm

I’m afraid to check the news now in case it’s ‘BREAKING: Sandwich Thief Murdered’.

But if I had a sandwich as delicious as Turkey and Swiss with mayo on rye, I’d put it in a safe #Temptation

Confession time: i stole a liitle troll from a coworker’s desk once. Took pictures of it in different spots all over the office bldg (fridge, roof, courtyard, lobby, etc) and left them for her w/ ransom notes in the form of limericks every day. By the end of the week the whole office was in on trying to guess who had the troll and where it would end up next. On Friday I got my ransom (two bagels w/ cream cheese and hot coffee from the cafe downstairs) and scores of fans. My cutie-pie boss called me “deliciously evil” [couple of debbie-downers said it was disruptive. There’s always one or two out there].

          Fun times! 😀

So I guess she’s going to raid his staff now with 2 years left to go, just because she can. And what does that say about the ones willing to leave?

      • 85 jacquelineoboomer
        February 4, 2015 at 7:34 pm

I’d say it might be what President Obama might (no idea) say if they want to leave: Go.

Knowing him, he’d wish them all the best and never look back. I get that many of them need jobs for the future, but I don’t get why they’d follow her after working for President Obama.

        • February 4, 2015 at 7:35 pm

That’s my point. I guess the DNC kool-aid at this point is pretty strong. Everyone’s convinced she’s The One.

            February 4, 2015 at 7:40 pm

Except a gazillion of us who haven’t tasted the kool-aid since February 2007. I don’t know how I’ll feel, if she’s the nominee. She and Bill showed their true colors last time. Yuck.

        • February 4, 2015 at 7:38 pm

Also, in Palmieri’s case, I think she started out as Clinton staff.

            February 4, 2015 at 7:46 pm

Yes and we haven’t ever seen her advocate strongly for President Obama. I was surprised when she came on board and do not agree that her leaving is a loss of any kind.
It is a favorite meme to make every staff change a BFD when it is PBO. I bet if statistics were available on staff changes in the last few presidencies we would see that coming and going is the norm.

            • 91 Vicki
              February 4, 2015 at 7:53 pm

In her first few outings as PBO spokesperson Jennifer Palmieri flubbed badly and i can’t recall the last time I’ve seen her.
I do remember her all-in for lady Walmart in 2007, especially frequently on with Tweety.
Of course, since I haven’t watched Chris Matthews in a year I may have missed her.

I try to pretend HRC doesn’t exist. If she’s on the ballot for the general I’ll vote for her and then go right back to pretending she doesn’t exist. If any of you get a chance to read the Reagan Racism article in Salon, please do so. It explains where Dems are headed as they pivot back to a southern strategy.

      • February 4, 2015 at 8:19 pm

they are so afraid of the OBAMA Coalition and the promise that it holds for our country…it is a force that they cannot control…BUT they cannot win without us…

i am taking many deep breaths…i see the handwriting on the wall…

i eagerly await to see what the President does…..will prove to be interesting

          February 4, 2015 at 8:24 pm

I will do whatever my President ask of me. I totally have his back.I will do my duty but that’s it. I’m gonna spend my money on all things PBO. THey get my vote but not my money.

The man accused of operating Silk Road, a deep web marketplace where illegal drugs were sold, has been found guilty.

Ross Ulbricht, 30, was convicted by a Manhattan jury on all seven counts including narcotics and money laundering conspiracies.

Prosecutors said more than a million drug deals took place on Silk Road, earning Ulbricht about $18m in Bitcoins

His defence lawyers had argued he was framed for much of the site’s activity and had quit the site.

The jury deliberated less than day before handing down the verdict, which leaves Ulbricht facing a possible life sentence.

When you have Stars & Stripes after you, you’re done. No idea why a man of his talents felt it necessary to do this. Sad, really. But he needs to resign tonight, because no one can trust him now … unless he’s only reading lines somebody wrote for him in the future, and we’ll never know if they’re true, either.

Reggie Love’s book is excellent and a great read. Coming of age, the Barack Obama in campaign mode that we all followed. Gracious, determined, always ready to do the right thing, what is best for all the people. He recounts the TARP vote and asking why the Senator was helping President Bush when it was not to the Democrats’ advantage. He counseled Reggie to think of all the small businesses and people who would be hurt if it did not pass. Very positive book.

    • February 4, 2015 at 8:26 pm

I will buy this book for sure. A look behind the scenes that confirms, once more, what we’ve known all along: Barack Obama is a man of great integrity. Always putting the country and its people FIRST.

Barack Obama is one of the best presidents America has EVER had. Period.

Really, I haven’t figured out which of the two is ‘petty’ – the owner for complaining or the thief for offering a deal. Neither fits the bill to me.

Also, IMO, there is no way anyone should be able to steal your sandwich more than once, and having stolen it, there’s no waaay I’d eat it if it were returned! People have some ‘weird’ ideas about food. You look into my lunch, even inadvertently, I throw it away. How could I tell? If it looked like it was opened. Of course, I solved that by never leaving my lunch in the staff room fridge.

Remind me yourself never to have bf/lunch/dinner with you. While I await my order, I always look at what others ordered and then think, why didn’t you think of that, you idjit.

        February 4, 2015 at 8:57 pm

No problemo, pard. If we’re in a restaurant you are welcome to look and get ideas….and I wouldn’t even charge you. 😀 It’s when someone opens my lunch packet/bag/container, or, god forbid, smells something I was about to eat that my hunger vanishes. I find all of those scenarios quite rude!

    // ………………………..

First of all, he said this about Martin Luther King, Jr. and the Montgomery Bus Boycott.

Why did he start with a bus boycott? Why didn’t he start with something like schools, or jobs, or voting? Couldn’t a bus boycott come later?

When you face an opponent over a broad front, you don’t aim at the opponent’s strong points. You aim for something a little off to the side. But you win it. And having won that bus boycott…13 months it took him to do it…then he moved on to other things.

This struck me as incredibly powerful when I first heard it.
