Hello NW and thanks for the tweets.
Congratsssssssssssss….
Congratulations on first, COS and you’re welcome.
congrats on being first 🙂 And the NW tweets are great.
Thanks.
Luckily, I don’t even have to practically BOTHER with CNN on the weekends! Thanks, darlin’.
Thanks, Ms. J’OB.
good comment on bottom of last post, pf
thanks…
i feel those bloggers…i have been the victim of that liberal white backlash a number of times myself…
Thanks for the wide-ranging tweets, nerdy.
The idiotic parents who won’t vaccinate should be forcibly educated on the matter.
I would show them videos of small children in iron lungs back in the 1950’s for example. The many kids in leg braces after the polio virus hurt them.
Thanks to vaccination, polio has been wiped out. So were measles and whooping cough.
Until now. I heard today that at least 3 young people in NY are hospitailzed with measles. SMH
We are the dumbest country imaginable. Is that what the GOP means by “exceptional” or whatever it is they say meaning whites are better.
Thanks, Vicki.
According to the article, measles outbreaks was pretty much eliminated about 15 years ago and now it’s back with a vengeance. One would think these anti-vaxxers would connect their life endangering choices with these new cases. But nooooooo….they prefer to live in denial and damn everyone else.
Great tweets NW.
One woman actually said on the news yesterday, that she wanted to know exactly what’s in the vaccination before it’s given to her child. Like she’s gonna understand it all. 😯
I love the Lynch “Get Off Me” 😀 😀
THE GOP THINKS THEY ARE EXCEPTIONAL…HOWEVER WE ALL BLEED THE SAME…AND EACH AND EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US HAS BEEN CREATED BY GOD FOR SPECIFIC PURPOSE….THE ONLY TWO AUTHENTIC EXCEPTIONS THE GOP CAN CLAIM IS THEIR OBVIOUS GREED AND BIGOTRY!
Brilliant tweets Nerdy, thank yooooou, Olivia Wilde is a gem!!
Thanks, Chiparoo.
She really is. I’ve always known she’s a liberal, but boy does she go balls out on her timeline. It’s awesome. 🙂
Chips,
Thank you for the beautiful cake. 🙂 🙂
You are verrrrrrrrry welcome Birthday Girl, I hope you’re having a wonderful day!!
Hope you are having a wonderful birthday celebration, Africa!

Another fantastic set of tweets, NW. Thank you!!
Thnk I slept through most of your birthday – keep celebrating – somewhere in the world you have another 12 hours 🙂

AWEsome Awesome Tweets…..

Oppsie!
GM from my world. Thank you so much for the lovely tweets for grandbabe & as I type she is packing up to go home – still not 100% but no concerns about any after effects.
So I can now celebrate our amazing state election result – after a massive turn right 3 years ago – no-one liked the result – so an equally massive turn left – thank you people of my state.
did the left get the magic no. of 45?
Not yet – 43 – because of the preferential voting system – AND postal votes have 10 days to arrive! may not know for weeks. THe current Premier – who lost his seat – has decided he can be the “caretaker” until the results are known – sigh. He’s ranting as to how good he was!
I see the counting is stuck at 72% since y’day. Why?
The workers at the booths only count on election night. Goes back to the returning officer for each district for the postals, specials and then distribution of preferences. They probably aren’t working today (Sunday)
For LL:
Hah! Thanks, JoB 🙂
Welcome!
WOW!
The DNC is working hard to raise funds…however one of the lessons of the midterms are the lost votes because of voter suppression….they have yet to address this..or to even acknowledge its impact…
Because that would seem like “work” to them? Unreal.
I’m not surprised by this move…..
Numerous updates via RTs in the sidebar and one that I thought I’d highlight here ….
And, one other …
For Bobfr (note the term daeshbags, new to me but maybe not you!):
Very familiar with the term and, in fact, “cahit storm” was the first on Twitter to coin it, as far as I know 🙂
Excellent. Caught my eye tonight, for some reason!

Hmmmm. Wonder why they chose *my* birth date. Could it be a means to lure me to Phila-d? Hmmmmm.
You can start in Cali and celebrate you way to Philly 😀
Virtually? Sure. 😀
That won’t be as fun tho’ 🙂
😀 For me it’d be the greatest fun because I wouldn’t have to physically leave home. I am very definitely a home body!
But by then, snow will be up to your windows! Prepare to escape vc!!!!!
By March 22 winter had better be winding down! I don’t take kindly to b-day white stuff.
Happy Birthday in advance, honey bunch!
What…are you planning to forget? 🙂 🙂
BTW, this is the last day of our joint exercise. Phew! I did okay until this last week and then it became hit and miss. Do you have chocolate lined up for tomorrow?
Today, I decided to pretend it was Feb. 1. You should have seen my son and granddaughter when I asked them to pick up some chocolate for me, when they went to the store. Both said no. When they came back, I asked if they’d gotten me at least one tiny candy bar, and they both said no. Then granddaughter handed me three Hershey candy bars.
And life is good. I made it to 30 days, and that was quite enough! I was also done with the exercise bike a week ago. So, we are riding high – or not – togethah! And March is another month and Spring will be then. Not now, since it’s to snow here tonight, while I’m eating my chocolate. ❤
I guess we were communicating just fine virtually re the actual exercise. 😀
Spring is certainly down the road a ways since my driveway is attesting to the fact ‘it’s truly winter, baby’. A friend showed up unexpectedly today, phoning me from the end of the driveway to say she was passing by to say ‘hi’ but won’t stop since she couldn’t make it in. 😀 I waved at her through the window.
Great story! Ha. “Friends to the end” sometimes means “the end of your driveway.”
🙂 🙂
And if I tell you I have an “inside scoop” that the snow will be there in bunches – will you believe me?
Nah!
Dammit! 😀
UMMMMM…maybe… 🙂
😀 😀
Nails it.
And is said with much conviction!
Ugh.
Posted something about “how conservatives think” and even WP knew to send it into moderation. That’ll teach me!
YAY! 🙂
Amazing!! And equally amazing that so few report on this. Thank goodness for Charles Gaba.
whoooooooohooooo!!!…Happy Dance…Happy Danceeee
Oh WOW!
Everytime I refresh my laptop, my screen lands on the grumpy cat tweet. Is my vacuum trying to tell me something??? 🙂
Hello TOD
G’Nite TOD
Revised ….
Way, way more than #BainMitt, I could not imagine a more polar contrast to all that matters than to have this Koch Boy be the @GOP nominee ….
Jebbie is the “new” Rmoney. He’ll be low in the polls until all that’s left is ol’Jeb.
This go around, I don’t think so, jojo. Would not be surprised if Jeb throws in the towel early. It is absolutely obvious that much of the ~ 1 billion the Kochs are going to spend is going to be focused on Walker.
I wouldn’t speak to any of those people, much less vote for them. Where do they hatch these rotten eggs?
They are glaring evidence of the #KLEPTOCRATS’s ability to either breed (e.g., Jeb, Mitt) or nurture (e.g., Walker, Jindal, Cruz) scum.
I don’t even like to think that any of them are “breeding,” if ya get my drift. We need to wipe out this faction of scum in America. Send it packing.
Tonight’s menu:
Oven roasted tri tip
Roasted potatoes
Roasted asparagus
And cocktails
Night all.
Yummy LL.
ouch…
Our dear President would agree, amk, with the ‘ouch’!!! 🙂 good morning ….
GM Bob.
❤ Have taken a quick glance, wish I had the energy to be here and chatty, but alas, I am away. Goodnight dear TOD, y'all keep doing what you're doing ~ it works so well!!! ❤
Chilean President Michelle Bachelet announces plans to end a total ban on abortions in the predominantly Roman Catholic country.
Ms Bachelet has tabled a bill in Congress to legalise abortion in cases of rape or when there mother’s life to the mother’s or the baby’s life.
Abortion is punishable in Chile by up to five years in jail.
The absolute ban of abortion puts the lives of thousands of Chilean women at risk every year, said Ms Bachelet.
She went on national television to announce the plans.
“Facts have shown that the absolute criminalization of abortion has not stopped the practice,” she said.
“This is a difficult situation and we must face it as a mature country.”
The BBC’s Gideon Long says the draft law faces opposition from Chile’s powerful Catholic Church, from conservatives in Congress and from some inside Ms Bachelet’s own coalition, led by the Socialist Party.
