    Bastards !

Members of the Senate Banking Committee on Thursday passed a bill that would impose sanctions on Iran if a comprehensive nuclear deal is not reached by June 30.

The bill, co-authored by Sens. Mark Kirk (R-Ill.) and Bob Menendez (D-N.J.), passed in the committee by an 18-4 vote.

All 12 Republicans on the committee voted for the bill, as did six Democrats.

The Democrats who voted for the bill included Sens. Menendez, Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), Jon Tester (D-Mont.), Mark R. Warner (D-Va.) Heidi Heitkamp (D-N.D.), and Joe Donnelly (D-Ind.).

I just don’t understand, Clinton can get sexual favors in the oval office from an intern and every elected Democrat ran to the White House pledging to back him against the Republicans, The Black clergy went to the White House and prayed for Clinton, but when can’t back a President that delivered healthcare to the masses and ended two wars.

          • January 29, 2015 at 11:49 am

All Dems did not stand with Bill Clinton, an asshole caucus of Dems lead by Joe Lieberman scolded and attempted to shame Clinton (this is why Al Gore, who was attempting to distance himself from Clinton, chose Lieberman as his running mate). Democrats are disloyal by nature. They have an inferiority complex, and those with inferiority complexes are not known for their backbones.

Thjere is a LOT of good news about Obamacare sign-ups on Charles Gaba’s blog. My state seems to be weathering the transition from our failed (Oracle-built) Cover Oregon exchange to Healthcare.gov but the legislature has to pass a fix and deal with the business owner part of it.

Hi jojo. I just wanted you and GGail to know that I was not suggesting that you not get an insurance agent. I actually had two agents working with me from Colonial Penn, which I ended up choosing after looking at several companies. I just meant I did some research before I chose a plan and a company. I do understand your point. Fortunately, I can still be on hubby’s employee dental and visual plans which are very inexpensive. I did have to buy a drug plan. I chose SilverScript for $26.00 a month and no deductible. It is a daunting task so, yes, indeed, get some help.

Thanks for the comment. This was all new to me and did not know that using an insurance agent was possible. I learned so much. I was able to stir another couple to use an agent before selecting a plan and to review the plans each enrollment period. Wow the drug plan is really reasonable. Thanks again for your help because I know it will help others who lurk here as well.

    What?

Bret Farve has many NFL records, including winning Super Bowl. Farve played with guts and he had QB talent.
He is a Hall of Fame NFL player with his awesome records.

What has Mittens done politically that can be termed great? Nada.

    • 50 japa21
      January 29, 2015 at 12:02 pm

I think that was in reference to how hard it was for Favre to quit football and he had to keep playing when he would have been better off retiring. Difference being, Favre actually was good at fottball while Romney was and is terrible at politics.

      • 51 Nena20409
        January 29, 2015 at 12:11 pm

I am not happy with that analogy. Favre continued to play well with consistency, hurt and all. Today, he was memory issues, for the Love of the game.
Mittens…..for Power and his belief spiritually that USA owes him and how dare a Man of color managed to defeat him. His wife told Us in April of 2012 that it was Mitt’s Turn.

        • 52 japa21
          January 29, 2015 at 12:20 pm

Not saying it was a good analogy. As I said, a lot of differences as well. Favres biggest problem at the end of his career was that he played for the Vikings.

            January 29, 2015 at 12:31 pm

Japa, please don’t make me defend the Vikings. πŸ˜‰ One of my sibs love them. I love one thing about them…..Purple. I only cheer for them when they play the Cowboys of the Broncos.
Favre took the Vikings further the yr he came to MN.
Favre was True to his QB abilities. Since his departure……the Vikings have been struggling to say the least.
Willard is Never true to his political ambitions. Therefore, his failures. His only win in 2002 is to beat a Female Dem in the MA Gubernatorial election.

It said the Russian aircraft did not enter UK airspace, but the manoeuvres were “part of increasing pattern of out-of-area operations” by Russia.

“But the maddening finding is the 37 percent of eligible uninsured who said they were nonetheless told they didn’t qualify for coverage. The survey didn’t follow up with a question about how they were told they were ineligible.”

Which would no doubt, “unstump” the experts. I find the whole article (and probably the research) is aimed at demonstating flaws in the system rather than helping folks get healthcare

I wasted many weekends volunteering and making calls contacting DEM’s to get out the vote to recall him. I even spoke to DEMS who said that he was elected and would NOT vote to recall Scott Walker because it was too early to make a decision about him. After the recalled failed I gave up on WI voters. I will never do that again. I will volunteer to prevent a college drop out/Koch head who will be controlled by billionaires from becoming president. I would even vote for Hillary if she becomes the nominee for the DEMs.

WI voters are so stupid. the racism/homephobia in that state in the rural areas can be off the charts as well i feel. They have a $2billion deficit due to walkers stupid tax cuts for the rich and well-connected. so to paper that over, he is cutting $300 mill out of WI state schools. stupid. here in MN we have a $1bill surplus that the gov is commited to investing in eductation and infrastructure, not a give away to the rich. Why do people vote R again? so stupid. come back in 10 yrs and WI will feel like another country.

The young (40) leader of Greece is the real Left leader many have been hoping for. One of his children is named Che, for one clue.

    • January 29, 2015 at 1:59 pm

this guy in greece shows some promise, but we’ll see what he does now with some power. i’ve been seeing articles such as this one where they’re trying to paint him as some pootin apologist:
      http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/syriza-kremlin-alexis-tsipras-vladimir-putin-are-new-best-friends-1485621

but i’m not convinced he is yet. his actions now will determine it though. it would make sense if “the news” owners around the world tried to tie him – a communist – to the dictator pootin, to try and alienate this far leftist. the owners certainly do not want a radical liberal succeeding with policies that destroy their beloved “trickle-down” fantasies. russia has been “communist” in name only maybe forever, and certainly not with pootie-poot, so a real communist should recognize this and not cozy up to this sociopath. we’ll see…
