It is so sad that there aren’t more Republicans like Chuck Hagel, instead of those racists right wing tea party KKK Republicans.

Congrats LL and AMK on coming here first/furst. Sad that Chuck Hagel did not work out well as Sec Def. His heart is in the right place.

Can’t tell who’s going in for the kiss there — President Obama or Secretary Hagel? Ha. (Not to make light of an impressive farewell.)

    Great photos!

I was reading this idiotic Page Six story about Joe Piscopo (why write about a person who can’t run?) and saw Christie can’t run for governor again because of term limits. And with his little bridge trollling he won’t be president. Oops!!!

    Good morning TOD!
It is a beautiful day. I just needed to get out and about and I feel better.
Seriously, what a difference a day makes. So proud of our new AG. Love our Praident how he just keeps on pressing on.

Thank you VC for that encouragement posted up above.
To all of us who are going through something, coming out of something, about to go into something.
My prayer for you today is Peace Be Still……

  52. January 29, 2015 at 7:42 am

I just want to share with you TOD that I saw a personal profile of Arnold Schwartseneger. What a piece of shit!
All of this talk about Bill Cosby, and I am not making light of what the women are coming out and saying what happened to them.
But this guy just breezed right through his groping phase, disrespecting women, using women and became governor of California two times.

I have just about had it with these women who “stand by their man”. Talking to you HRC as well. And we are supposed to ^5 everything Bill says because they cal themselves Dems. It gives them approval to keep doing what they do.
I was sick to my shocked when I realized his past did not catch up to him until the day after his term was finished as governor.
He used everybody that he could in so many ways.
    The Repugs loved him!
Is there any wonder these clowns keep popping up in politic? They have no morals and dare to judge everyone else.
Okay. My rant for today is over……

    • January 29, 2015 at 7:56 am

I will never understand the election of Arnold Schwarzenegger. He is a complete moron. The only thing I can guess is that people are absolutely enthralled with the notion of celebrity. He was a complete disaster, a terrible governor who cheapened the office and left us with a huge mess. Thank goodness Jerry Brown stepped forward. He has done the miraculous since he took office.

His wife came from a loved family – that may have much to do with why he was elected meta – he would never have been elected without her presence.

        • January 29, 2015 at 9:02 am

Yes, that may have been part of it, especially since it’s a famed family of Democrats. Angelides was also not a strong opponent in the second election.

Would have to add – in the past 40 years, republicans have not been known for having smart, educated, intelligent candidates for high office – quite the opposite. I do think those running the campaigns like it that way.
