GE VC πŸ™‚ I can’t take the suffering anymore Patriots are now beating my Colts 45-7 !!

I’m glad at least SOS Kerry is enjoying his home town team pummelling my boys w/ Patriots owner Bob Kraft 😦

Sorry LP. I’m not a fan of the Patriots, but I didn’t think the Colts were strong enough to win against NE. They got lucky against Manning.

Quite frankly I’m surprised they got this far this season….Reggie Wayne’s career ended last year when he tore his ACL & when the NFL sack leader (Robert Mathis 19.5 sacks last year) was suspended 4 games for taking
fertility drugs to help his wife get pregnant…..subsequently tearing his calf muscle during the suspension ( stupid NFL rules don’t allow player to work out at team facility while on suspension) his season was done as well 😦 …… I just hope they give Andrew Luck some OL and WR help in the off season….

VC, if I email you a picture, can you fix it so only the button shows? I want to respect the privacy of the person (it’s not me).

On their way to a justice of the peace to get married, a couple has a fatal car accident. The couple is sitting outside heavens gate waiting on St. Peter to do the paperwork so they can enter. While waiting, they wonder if they could possibly get married in Heaven. St. Peter finally shows up and they ask him. St. Peter says, “I don’t know, this is the first time anyone has ever asked. Let me go find out,” and he leaves.

The couple sit for a couple of months and begin to wonder if they really should get married in Heaven, what with the eternal aspect of it all. “What if it doesn’t work out?” they wonder, “Are we stuck together forever?” St. Peter returns after yet another month, looking somewhat bedraggled. “Yes,” he informs the couple, “you can get married in Heaven.” “Great,” says the couple, “but what if things don’t work out? Could we also get a divorce in Heaven?”

St. Peter, red-faced, slams his clipboard onto the ground. “What’s wrong?” exclaims the frightened couple. “Geez!” St. Peter exclaims, “It took me three months to find a priest up here! Do you have any idea how long it’s going to take for me to find a lawyer?”

    and I am outta here.

These made me laugh so hard that I started coughing! I think this is the funniest collection so far.

My students often called me mom, but I was never tempted to take them home.

        Yeah, it’s an age thing.

I think a person only has a certain amount of freak-outs allotted to them, and after enough experience, meh seems like the appropriate reaction.,

It appears that Liam Neeson is the exception, though. Good for him for showing the youngun’s how it’s done.

I’m now a Viggo Mortensen fan, but when I saw the first hobbit movie (can you believe that was 14 years ago, yikes), I told my movie companions afterwards that I thought Liam Neeson would have been a good Aragorn/Strider.

Am still in awe at JRR Tolkien’s masterful world and work he created.

Just think about what it must have been like for blacks back then, the right wing tea party people want to act as if it was no big deal. Just like shooting down black men, black teenagers and black kids are no big deal.

(Excuse the f-bomb in the tweet, although highly deserved.)

    Poor dumb crybaby Rupe Murdoch
Afraid The Taxman might clean his clock
Won’t give a penny more to pay HIS tax
Wants us to feel sorry that he’s so lax
Inherited his company from daddy Keith
All his “earnings” he had bequeathed
Scared The Taxman will clean his clock
    Poor dumb crybaby Rupe Murdoch.

Went to Regal Theaters here in MD to see Selma today. Guess what? We asked for Selma, got tickets, walked away & something made me doublecheck the stubs. They were for an entire different movie. I went back to that window & said heck no! (read that as polite yet insistent), excused my butting in the next people at that window, and simply said, I did not buy tickets for Big Hero, how do you confuse that title w/ the word Selma? Needless to say we got the correct tickets. It made me wonder if that’s how they’ve been gaming the box office. Selma ticket purchases going to some dumb movie.

Anyhoo, reposting from end of last: give it about 26 seconds into the video

So totally jumping in real quick & off topic. This has so lifted my spirit. It’s from a young group of people in the SF Bay Area who are so talented and innovative, my son being one of them, the concept, production, etc. guy, & feat. But that’s a by-the-way. You will be singing that tune whether or not you want to! πŸ™‚ Much love to you all. Enjoy:
