Oh, go on with you, Don!! PBO knows this perfectly well!! LOL!! He just like busting historic records each and every day of his phenomenal Presidency!! Another reason they are all so mad at him all the time ~ He keeps showing them how to do the job, and they know NO ONE will ever make it to his level of accomplishment! 🙂 ❤ 🐻

Amal Clooney is Barbara Walters’ most fascinating person of the year. Oh well they still allow Barbara to have that crappy of a show. I’m not fascinated by Mrs. George Clooney. Not at all.

Note: She Never had an interview with her…..per a story I read this afternoon.
I suppose, she was an excuse to show Cloony’s past interviews. I don’t Like BWalters. I have not seen any of her 10 most nonsense in over 18-20 yrs. If she wanted a Muslim, why not Malala Y.

I just watched an interview of Barbara Walters on OWN Master Class and I intensely dislike her. This is a first for me because I end liking the person more after an interview with Oprah. But this women hell no.

I thought the worst interviewer EVER, b walters retired. Geez, she’s retired at least 3 times but her fawning, over the top, worse than People magazine crappy “fascinating person” show never goes away. WTF, Amal Clooney??

I take that back! She is smart and beautiful and accomplished in her own right for which she should be very proud….but my guess the reason for this is….snagging the perpetual bachelor.

So BWalters was being super sexist.
The lady made Walters’ 10 most fascinating people for getting married to Cloony? Wow….that is so disrespectful. Walters was supposedly the Pioneer of Women in Broadcasting on TV? Wow….she should be ashamed of himself.

I thought she retired last year???

          Nope.

Now it is being reported that the Diaper Wearing David Vitter has announced his opposition to Ms Loretta Lynch to replace AG Holder. He is to have said that he would do everything in his power to stop her nomination.

Once again…..not about her qualifications…….just for spite and Hatred of Pres Obama.

            December 15, 2014 at 7:40 pm

Then he’s stuck with AG Holder, whom he despises…..can’t he figure that out? PBO is not going to withdraw Ms. Lynch’s nomination and nominate someone Vitter “likes”

          • 74 Jeff
            December 15, 2014 at 7:42 pm

which means we’ll have Holder a win win for us but not happy because she deserves a chance.

BTW not just hatred of pres Obama but also hatred towards all black people or ‘blah people’ according to Rick Santorum.

            December 15, 2014 at 8:33 pm

Saw that today, too, but Vitter has put himself between a rock and a hard place.

Sure, go ahead and attack PBO’s executive order on immigration, and then have your caucus have to defend voting against a fierce Federal Prosecutor… or be “stuck” with AG Holder.

Need to find those WordPress instructions on how to create a popcorn emoticon, LOL.

          • December 15, 2014 at 10:38 pm

Poor “Diaper Dave”! He is probably not aware that if Ms. Loretta Lynch is not confirmed, Erick Holder, who is hated by the right wingers, will still be the AG.

I have much respect for Andrew Hawkins…

“I understood there was going to be backlash, and that scared me, honestly. But deep down I felt like it was the right thing to do,” Hawkins said. “If I was to run away from what I felt in my soul was the right thing to do, that would make me a coward, and I can’t live with that.”

It’s a good day when the Surgeon General finally is confirmed, and the Russian ruble is crashing:-) I must admit that the two people I believe this world would be better without are Putin and Netanyahu. Here’s AP’s take.

Frustratingly, both AP and CNN refer to a “key interest rate” but don’t say what rate they’re referring to.

      • December 15, 2014 at 8:51 pm

“Russia’s central bank has hiked the country’s benchmark interest rate to 17pc, just days after raising it to 10.5pc, in a bid to stop a full-blown currency crisis.

The shock move – Bank of Russia’s sixth increase this year – takes rates to heights not seen since the country’s default in 1998, and “is aimed at limiting substantially increased rouble depreciation risks and inflation risks”.

It also increased the maximum volume of foreign currency it provides to Russian banks via its foreign-exchange repurchase agreement auctions for 28 days to $5bn (£3.2bn) from $1.5bn.

“This should make it more difficult to short [the rouble],” said Jorge Mariscal, chief investment officer at UBS Wealth Management. “It shows they are really concerned about the speed of the decline in the rouble.””

    http://americansforresponsiblesolutions.org/2014/12/15/surgeon-general-confirmation/ Capt. Kelly’s statement:

”Tonight, the United States Senate did the responsible thing: It stood up to the gun lobby, stood up for common sense, and voted to ensure that the United States has a qualified medical professional as its top doctor.

”While it’s great to the Senate has finally acted, this vote was long overdue. It’s a shame that Dr. Murthy’s nomination was held up for so many months simply because he had evaluated the data and stated the obvious: gun violence is a public health risk.

”We are grateful to the thousands of Americans for Responsible Solutions supporters who contacted their Senator to say how important it is that our nation has a Surgeon General in place, and to urge their Senator to stand up to the gun lobby and vote to confirm Dr. Murthy.”

    http://iava.org/press-release/post-911-veterans-blast-senator-coburn-for-blocking-crucial-veteran-suicide-prevention-bill/

Clay Hunt’s mother’s response to Tom Coburn blocking vet’s bill.

“As parents who experienced the pain of losing a veteran to suicide, it is shocking to see this bill blocked because of one lone Senator’s agenda,” said Susan Selke, mother of Clay Hunt. “Too many veterans are facing the same bureaucratic red tape Clay confronted years ago, and they are looking to our elected leaders for hope. While throughout this process we have been so thankful for the widespread and sincere support from our Congressional leaders, today, once again, vets like my son were failed. I am grieving thinking of those young men and women who will be delayed receiving help because of this inaction. The VA’s mental health care system needs urgent change as more veterans die from suicide than on the battlefield, and Senator Coburn’s action today just delays that reform.”
