From Florida (what’s *wrong* with that state!), he of course said the Senate report was a partisan attack — yeah, and who in their right mind thinks torture is OK, and that spending $80 MILLION taxpayer dollars for torture techniques is a GOOD idea????
Meanwhile, GOP merrily block assistance to the starving, unemployed and homeless in this country.
Still laughing at a cranky email from a TOD lurker who complained about the profanity in some of the tweets we post, especially from the Tweet of God (“who is NOT funny”), and that we were insulting the President by posting them. And that me and Nerdy should show more respect considering how much money we’re making from TOD 😆

I am beginning to feel like I’m losing my mind! Did the Dems really agree to increase contributions to political campaigns by TENFOLD in this bill? Are they really cutting back on Dodd-Frank after all the work to get it passed? Is John Brennan really defending torture on an ongoing basis as the current director of the CIA? I am beginning to believe that this country will never truly “recover” from all the damage inflicted by Bush/Cheney. And I am sick to death of all these networks/reporters giving Cheney a voice at one of the most shameful moments in US history. Disgusting. But I am also becoming very concerned of what the next two years will bring if this bill is what we get when the Dems still control the Senate. While some claim that there is nothing in there to block PBO’s executive action on immigration, that is really not true given that it doesn’t fund HS which is where they take their revenge for all the good that will do them. I am weary.

They are looking to curtail what the consider “double and triple dippers” Folks that receive Military pension plus SSA and/or VA Disability. They also want to make changes to “Tricare for Life”
