MoooOOOooorning!
😎
Drat! Missed again!
*You* are a thorn in my (entrance) side! Will have to decide what to do about you after I research how thorns are best treated.
You are morally the first. And yeah ManU. (Called covering all my bases.)
🙂 🙂 Well-covered.
Morning, Mr. Japa! Happy Monday to you.
#twotimer
Wishing you half a good morning, Japa.
CC, I’ve spent all the past 13 mins trying to figure out how to get Cinderella under a really neat animated fly swatter that I found – all to no avail. So, I’m settling for this and hope you still get the message.
😆 That is a HOOOOOOOT!!!!
To you, maybe. I didn’t want to hit myself; wanted to squish you in that Cindyrelli outfit, gloating and all full of yourself! 😀
Gotta go eat breakfast – TOD fosters poor eating habits! BRB
ALL OF YOU ARE HAVING WAY TOO MUCH FUN!…..PRICELESS!
gm amoral winner of the gold star. You have posted some perfect random pictures this day – so I shall love you despite it all.
99ts, you forgot the space between ‘a’ and ‘moral’. Typo??
Gooooooood evening to ya!!
Bless you – may your Monday be all that a Monday is meant to be.
On this side of the world our Monday was spent with a speedball of a grandbabe who well understands ownership rules – if she wants it – she explains in rather loud tones “mine”.
While out for lunch she met another of like mind in the restaurant “play room” so some interesting discussions ensued.
well, what do you know.
😎
#copycat
LOL. How in the hell did you do it?
stop stereotyping. einstein didn’t wear glasses.
😎
Ha.
He’s probably wearing contact lenses in them. #Cheat

G’morning Chips, TOD, lurkers, everyone, and congrats Chips on 1st, vc on 2nd, amk on FURST, and japa on 3rd! 🙂
Good Morning TODVille!
Another great post with a beautiful picture of POTUS. Thank you Chips.
Love the guy on elections night. All his “domestic helps” are smiling, save the “master”, the 1% guy.
best of bennett. shiving the 1%er so brilliantly.
I LOVE “Randomness”!!! That’s all I have to say about that:)
It’s a highly excellent slice of randomness, DF! Good morning to ya, hope your birthday was wonderful!
Thanks, love! My birthday actually very nice! Spent the day in the pool with my girlfriend and went to dinner with her and her hubby and my family….very relaxing. Highly excellent slice of randomness indeed!
Belated happy birthday df – sounds like a birthday should sound
Belated happy birthday. Have a wonderful year.
I was going to add that I am quite fond of the random photo today also. If you randomly select that random photo every single day, you will become known as the one who brought great joy to all the land, maybe qualify for a Pulitzer or a Nobel Peace Prize. It’s that good.
this!
🙂 I am writing my acceptance speech as we speak, Dote-ster!!
John Oliver is hilarious…video is here 🙂

Sorry, but I find that question and request for responses to be a colossal waste of time. Instead of fantasizing about a GOP Senate win, we are going to be GOTV, and educating people about the accomplishments of our President and what more can be accomplished with a Dem Senate.
More garbage TV. And the timing is suspect.
We can use this to show people how awful a GOP Senate would be – an opportunity.
And yes I agree with everyone else. Joy Ann Reid sold out for the paycheck. But let’s scare the shit out of everyone who thinks there is nothing at stake in this election.
She is a big disappointment for me……
I think her show is just awful…..
I keep telling, never trust any pundtwits. Except may be Moyers, but then he is a journo.
Pierce was discussing the stupid of some dems today – they really want to lose.

Right you are, hopefruit!!! Waste of broadcast time and demoralizing as well.
I replied 2 tweet but I’m not sure she’s gonna like it.
Gentle reminder for those that want to volunteer but can only do it from home:)

I just love this guy.
GM all.
Brilliant tweet and so true.
good one!
LOL. Love it.
Brilliant!
Good morning, TOD.
I love the first cartoon. Says it all for me.
NY Times reporting that Christie’s Hero Nurse Prisoner will be allowed to return to her home in Maine this morning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
NY Times also has a great column by Paul Krugman blaming (but not shaming, unfortunatly, nothing shames these losers) the GOP for a complete stoppage of $$$$$ for infrastructure. The Sabotage Spoiler Party is what they are.
Mitch McConnell has announced he would stop everything if he is Leader of The Senate. “He won’t like that very much,” said M mcC about how POTUS would be punished by him and his party. Mitch McConnell NEEDS TO LOSE.
Vindictive racists is the only way to describe this fool and his colleagues.
Good Morning, Everyone 🙂
Good gawd, worst ‘security’ ever – if the guy had a gun or a knife, Cameron would be no more.
Like in my world – very few have guns – unlikely that Cameron would be injured – other than getting pushed over.
True 99ts, but there are enough people in Britain who would like to do him serious harm, you’d think his security would be a little sharper.
Reality is – we just don’t do it – Our current pm may carry around a security man or two – because he wants to look important – but again – very unlikely he would get shot – same in the UK. The guns are just not there. Majority of shootings are criminal/drug related or domestic shootings – which doesn’t make them less sad/criminal or whatever but no-one here needs anything like the security that US Presidents seem to need.
Which reminds me – we were buzzed by the army copters today – we live on the flight path – air force base to the city – I think they were practising for the G20. Probably the closest I will get to PBO is to have him fly overhead! The city will be locked up tight – arrest first, ask questions second. sigh.
I’ll sound as paranoid as Fox News, but there’s a lot of tension in Britain over their involvement in Iraq/Afghanistan etc, lots young Muslim guys setting off to join ISIS, a few nutters floating round, like the guys who killed that soldier on the street in London. Easy for anyone like that to get a gun or knife, that’s why I’m gobsmacked by the lack of security in this incident.
Hey, we’ll want photos of PBO flying over your house!!!! 🙂
P.S. Not to say it won’t wouldn’t happen – I hope I never have to eat my words.
Will Julia Pierson be held accountable?
🙂 I’m just waiting to see the first claim that it’s #ObamaFault
How on Earth??!!
Isn’t it incredible Donna? Imagine if that guy had a gun or a knife? I thought the White House security was bad, but this is astonishing.
He was able to just run right up on him. Chips that was an utterly incredible lack of security. smh/ 😯
I think there’ll be quite a few members of his security team looking for new jobs tomorrow.
I hope so!!!!!!!!!!
this is where I am different. When someone runs toward me or steps to me in a threatening manner, I step forward to meet it. It is instinctual. Video would have captured me on top of dude kicking the crap out of him. Not a good look for a PM but …..
Wow…..that is Zero security detail.
Hello TOD, what a wonderful picture of PBO, that is the best way to start off the day! 🙂
Morning Sophia!
Hi Chips, Top ‘o the morning to ya! Thank you for the fantastic R&S. 🙂
Allison Grimes watch and learn…..
Exactly. And Nunn’s admission of having voted for PBO has not diminished her standing in the race – if anything, she now has momentum – Obamamentum!
It may be too late for Grimes, she has her head so far up the Clintons’ asses that she know what they had for dinner last night.
😆 Don, I may never be able to erase that image!
I’m sorry Chips, I don’t mean to be so vile but for Grimes to be so anti-President Obama is so frustrating. The guy delivered health care, marriage equality and ended DOMA, and she seems to go out of her way to insult the President. You don’t like President Obama, fine, you’re trying to win an election, I get it. But to go out of your way to tell people that you aren’t an Obama voter is really the last straw for me. And if the Clintons weren’t in on the deal they would have told Grimes a long time ago to chill out with her public animosity towards President Obama.
I agree with you 100% Don, she makes my skin crawl. Much as I loathe McConnell, I would find it very, very hard to vote for her if I lived in that state. I certainly would have to hold my nose. I completely get what everyone’s saying, that such is life in a state like Kentucky, that she wouldn’t get elected if she aligned herself with PBO, but she has gone way beyond what she needed to do on that front. A “Clinton Democrat”? Refusing to say if she vote for PBO? Good gawd.
That was the bit that was the final straw for me, too. She shoves PBO, who has enormous and historic achievements, under the bus all the while shouting from the rooftops that she’s a Clinton Democrat, two people who have done exactly what for our country? It not only reeks of a knowing rancid racism but also displays an ugly and misguided arrogance about how to govern. Triangulation, tra la la.
Exactly, Meta. We know the country is full of Dem candidates keeping their distance from PBO because of the states they’re in, and I get that – even if it drives me insane. But she has taken it further, to the point where one of her supporters actually felt comfortable enough to say this to the NYT:
“We’re just nostalgic for when Democrats were different than Obama.”
I just can’t……
That was the gratuitous twisting-the-knife moment for me, too. I tell you, the 2016 primary is not going to be pretty. Not pretty at all.
guyz, guyz, big picture, if you will.
Don’t get me wrong, If I were a living in Kentucky I’d vote for Grimes also. But there are some lines that shouldn’t be crossed, like insulting President Obama at every turn.
Yes, I get the frustration and the anger but we can’t let that get in our way of getting the senate. And what a senate seat take that will be. That will be the final death knell for obstructive gop fanaticism. I don’t want people who visit here who might vote/canvass for her lose their participation/enthusiasm.
I wouldn’t vote for her and forget the consequences because she does not represent my interest but that of a small group. So if I am going to be screwed then by gawd maybe it is time we are all screwed regardless of melanin. Until then I think of it as enabling the bad behavior.
You’re right amk.
Actually Grimes is doing far better than was expected a couple weeks ago. She may even end up pulling a win on Election Night. It’s just that she didn’t have to go the route that she choice to go down. Spending far too much time showing the racist in KY that she’s not an Obama Democrat didn’t gain her any favors with the AA community but there are lots of KY women who are keeping her close in that race. Only time will tell…………
I hope she does beat McConnell. I would enjoy his loss much more than watching Eric Cantor lose. On the other hand, I am very happy that I don’t live in KY. I would find it very difficult to vote for Grimes, even while holding my nose.
It will be Sen Grimes on Nov 5th. It’s just noise.
I absolutely loathe these weak-ass Democrats that run and hide anytime someone mentions President Obama. I have no use for them and they serve no purpose whatsoever. If they can’t stand up for President Obama how in hell are they going to stand up for the average citizen?
Don, After Nov 4, I have a thing or two to say to some of these Democrats. As far as I’m concerned they’re cowards. There are those who are not in Red states and IMO have no reason what-so-ever to bash President Obama and run away from him.
Me too, sabreen, I’m holding back from saying something that I might regret.
Congrats Ms. Chips and Good Morning to all. BTW, I love a good looking man in a leather jacket/coat and PBO is fine. OK, so how superficial do I sound? 🙂
What Governor Cuomo and Governor Christie accomplished by their hasty ill-advised moves to one-up the President and the popular Mayor of NYC revealed not Leaders With Reason and Strength, but the empty soulless contents of their characters. Bought and paid-for RW hacks.
Lovely to see them forced to backtrack.
“empty soulless contents of their characters” – so well said Vicki – thank you.
Thank you, 99ts
I expected as much from Governor Chrisite, but for Governor Cuomo to do this does not make sense at all. Governor Cuomo should know better.
Cuomo is a poor excuse for a Democrat. He conspired to give the NY Legislature to GOP control.
http://www.politicususa.com/2014/10/27/lack-integrity-drives-support-unethical-corrupt-republicans.html
There are currently 11 Republican governors either under indictment, under investigation, or under intense scrutiny for their ethics violations and outright crimes. According to a report last month, the 11 sitting Republican governors are involved in scandals of their own creation, and nine of the eleven are running for re-election. Most are either leading in the polls or staying competitive with their challengers informing that, at least in their respective states, their base embraces their corruption and in some cases supports their intent to take their corrupt ways to the U.S. Senate.
g’nite all – happy Monday
Night 99ts, sleep well!
(CNN) — A British science teacher admitted Monday to trying to help anti-Assad regime fighters commit acts of terrorism in Syria.
Jamshed Javeed, 30, from the northern English city of Manchester, pleaded guilty to two terrorism charges at Woolwich Crown Court.
Police said the father of one had helped four associates travel to Syria for terrorism purposes last year and had planned to join them in the war-torn country.

A Gracious Good Morning to everyone in TODville!
I want to wish a belated Happy Birthday to our lovely Desert Flower. Hope you had a wonderful day.
Glad to see that the nurse that was detained is suing Crispy Creme. I hope she sues Cuomo as well. They’re both despicable bastards!
*has managed to motivate herself to do some grading*
*randomly opens this page just to “check on the news”*
…
*is majorly distracted by photo*
Oh, shucks…
😆 Apologies Niliathiel, will I replace it with Newt Gingrich so you can get some work done?
Gah! I never said that. Maybe some distraction is good for the brain r something. I am sure I can reason something around that if I think hard enough. 😛
🙂 Okay then, no Newt!
Go ahead ask tweety questions? 😁
