This is exciting! Given ice melt in both hemispheres, if we can’t/won’t stop or slow the damage, science may be seeing tremendous challenges to previous theory.

As I have mentioned several times in the past, I shut down the so-called news shows, most national print media and various blogs early in 2009 when it was clear that their sole purpose was to aid the powerful to bring down PBO’s administration and to keep the 99% fighting so hard just to make a living that we would not be able to go the extra mile to understand just how much we are being screwed. I have saved my sanity and my overall positivity because of it. For those who are still upset by the media and the bogus polls, you need only recall what happened in 2012 (for kicks and giggles I often go to Youtube to see the dumbfounded expressions of shock and disbelief on the faces of the political operatives, the media fools, Romney and his other supporters when they realize that they have lost and lost badly to PBO). Remember to take a leaf out of PBO’s playbook: ignore the sound and fury of the pundits and work hard until the last vote is counted. Keep the faith, everyone.

“Israel is quick to point out efforts to delegitimize the Jewish state. Yet what truly undermines Israel’s international standing is not its critics, but Israel’s abysmal treatment of its own citizens who are Palestinian. It is little different than other countries that have systematically discriminated against and segregated a whole class of its people based on race, religion and ethnicity.

While Israel (like the United States) claims to abhor racism and human rights violations elsewhere, the country’s political leadership is actively enacting laws that ensure a pervasive institutionalized system of discrimination. What Israel needs, conversely, is a civil rights movement.”

    Humor-Crumpled bills

“Have you ever seen a twenty dollar bill all crumpled up?” asked his wife.

    “Well…” said her husband.

She gave him a sexy little smile, slowly reached into her hair, and pulled out a crumpled twenty dollar bill.

“Have you ever seen a hundred dollar bill all crumpled up?” she asked him.

    “Uh, no,” he said.

She gave him another sexy smile, seductively reached into her cleavage and pulled out a crumpled hundred dollar bill.

“Now,” she said, reaching towards her panties, “Have you ever seen $84,000 dollars all crumpled up?”

    > “No,” he said, now really intrigued.
    > “Well, go look in the garage…”

Uhm…should we be relying on the President for emotional sustenance? I thought that was the job of our parents, spouses, siblings, BFF’s, lovers, therapists, or spiritual counselors?!?!?

Thank you hopefruit2. What is wrong with people?
The man gets caught not smiling for a miisecond -and you see articles about how he’s cold and aloof. A see him as thoughtful, sensitive, smart, full of wonder, respectful, funny, and a tough leader at all the right times. As far as I’m concerned he has the perfect temperament for the job. I hope he inspires a whole army of up and comers to be just like him.

Instead of acting like we are children without the intelligence to understand an explanation PBO presents us with the facts. He expects us to be able to respond to truthful straight forward explanations. The MSM and past political leaders are not used to treating constituents as adult capable thinkers.

George Phillips , an elderly man, from Tampa , Florida, was going up to bed, when his wife told him that he’d left the light on in the garden shed, which she could see from the bedroom window.

George opened the back door to go turn off the light, but saw that there were people in the shed stealing things.

He phoned the police, who asked “Is someone in your house?”

He said “No,” but some people are breaking into my garden shed and stealing from me.

Then the police dispatcher said “All patrols are busy. You should lock your doors and an officer will be along when one is available”

    George said, “Okay.”

He hung up the phone and counted to 30. Then he phoned the police again.

“Hello, I just called you a few seconds ago because there were people stealing things from my shed. Well, you don’t have to worry about them now because I just shot and killed them both. The dogs are eating them right now.” and he hung up.

Within five minutes, six Police Cars, a SWAT Team, a Helicopter , two Fire Trucks, a Paramedic , and an Ambulance showed up at the Phillips ‘ residence, and caught the burglars red-handed.

One of the Policemen said to George , “I thought you said that you’d shot them!”

George said, “I thought you said there was nobody available!”

(True Story) I LOVE IT! Don’t mess with old people.

Why men shouldn’t write advice columns

    Dear John,

I hope you can help me. The other day, I set off for work, leaving my husband in the house watching TV. My car stalled, and then broke down about a mile down the road, and I had to walk back to get my husband’s help. When I got back home, I couldn’t believe my eyes. He was in our bedroom with the neighbour’s daughter!
I am 32, my husband is 34 and the neighbour’s daughter is 19. We have been married for 10 years. When I confronted him, he broke down and admitted they had been having an affair for the past six months. He won’t go to counseling, and I’m afraid I am a wreck and need advice urgently. Can you please help?
    Dear Sheila,

A car stalling after being driven a short distance can be caused by a variety of faults with the engine. Start by checking that there is no debris in the fuel line. If it is clear, check the vacuum pipes and hoses on the intake manifold and also check all grounding wires. If none of these approaches solve the problem, it could be that the fuel pump itself is faulty, causing low delivery pressure to the injectors.
    I hope this helps,

~ Forwarded by Steve Sanderson – Gilbert, SC

I is going to read before bed to unwind; also too, I’ll be at work tomorrow, so may the force be with you all. Good Night!

Good thing I’m nowhere near Greta the Witch, because I’d be walking on her face right about now. This is APPALLING.

Greta Van Susteren is another one of those crazy ass right wing nuts. Who ever would have thought she would turn out like that, remember those days when she was on CNN? She talk like a person with some sense.

A friend and I were discussing how we had contributed to Dems success this mid-term. At first it didn’t seem like I’d done much, because I hadn’t been able to spend much time doing volunteer work as much as I’d hope. But she made me write down everything I’d done and, ya know what, I think I can be proud of the small part I played:

    1) Registered new voters – Check
    2) Canvassed during primary season – Check
    3) Donated – DNC, DCCC, DSCC, OFA, Georgia Dems, League of Women Voters, Vote Riders
    4. Donated Some More – Emily’s List, AFL-CIO, SEIU, National Action Network, Planned Parenthood,
    5) Donated Again – Michelle Nunn, Jason Carter, Alison Grimes , Rob Zerban (Dem opponent to Paul Ryan),
Jack Trammell (Dem opponent to Eric Cantor), Local Candidates
    6) Tweeted & Re-tweeted – Check
    7) Early Voted – Check
    8) Emailed ballot info to friends and family so they don’t have to guess who/what to vote for – Check
    9) Took two friends with me to vote – Check
    10) Deliver snacks and drinks to volunteers at local Democratic headquarters – coming up later this week and weekend
    11) Distributing yard signs – coming up later this week and weekend
    12) Phone banking – Coming up this weekend
    13) Take Election Day Off Work so I can canvas and give rides to the polls – coming up Tuesday
    14) I also hope to spend Tuesday evening celebrating election results with a bunch of dancing Dems 🙂

Hmm, not too shabby afterall. Just thought I’d throw this out there to inspire others.
Have you done whatever you can do? There’s still much to be done. Every little bit helps!
