GE, vetivera24 and MightyPamela. He gets so much of that energy from us. He knows we are lifting him up in goodness within our space. May his strength continues, and his wisdom be abundant for all of us to keeping moving with him. Great blessings be granted to him and his Administration.
Everyone please have a great weekend. Lots of loving hugs to my Chips, Nerdy W., and all who make this the best place to keep PBO’s back. Thank you, our beautiful Chips and all of the great contributors. We will keep working doing whatever we can to win this election for him. HZ
In full agreement with you {{{{{HZ}}}}}. Long, long ago, when a young man named Barack Obama seriously began to think of becoming President of the US, he knew full well what the odds were, and he understood clearly what he would be up against to succeed, not merely to win the office, but to carry through with all the powerful ideas and plans he had developed on his way there. I sometimes suspect even he did not fully comprehend how nasty, angry and vile the hatred towards him would be, but I fully believe he was prepared for it. With his education, within the emotional and mental training he received from his mother and her own dedication to helping others, he had the advantage of seeing the big picture, the long view, and he knew it would take every single one of us to stand up and walk beside him. He has always said this, his message has never wavered. He also fully understood there would be limits to how much could be achieved, but our prayers and our work in our own locales are the energetic fuel which keeps him going. Yes, he knows. Bless us, everyone, for our ability to stay on track.
MP, I think you’re absolutely right. I don’t think there was ever a moment when Barack Obama was naive about what he would face in his path to the presidency. But he is the most determined man in the world. He set out to “do” something, as he always says, not be “be” something and what he has done in these six years has been astonishing.
This, jg. And all without a shadow of dishonesty, or compromising for the wrong reasons with the wrong people, genuine as the sunlight. No selling out. Small wonder the RW do not understand him! He is everything they are not, and everything they cannot imagine!
GO POB!!! GO CFPB!!! Financial regulation absolutely makes most people’s eyes glaze over. But it’s critical! CFPB ain’t messin’ ’round either. Bankers are sooo sad. Waa. Waaa! WAAAAA!!!!!!!!! 🙂 🙂
With all this talk of Ebola, lately, if you like, maybe you can put up a post concerning Ebola I would be willing to answer serious questions from commenters in the comments section to the best of my knowledge as an active Microbiology Medical Laboratory Scientist.
If you guys think it’s a good idea, I figured it be better to have just one centralized post, rather than using the regular post so as not to bog down the post with alot of comments.
I don’t mind, and I plan to offer this to a few other blogs I post. I figured when you have experienced knowledge about some subject, it always better to help spread factual information rather than misinformation.
Any questions, I cannot answer or that is outside my purview of knowledge, I can ask some of my other friends who are currently working in the hospital laboratory, CDC and beyond.
I think that would be a good idea and even have it on the sidebar once other threads have started going. Chips, LL, NW, obviously this would work best when lamh36 has available time.
Ok, I’m off to bed, but I just wanted to add that the questions DO NOT have to only be about Ebola. If you have questions aobut lab protocols, I could probably answer some of those type of questions too.
Morning Lamh!!! Thanks a million to LL for alerting me to your comment, I didn’t get back to the blog last night, so would have missed it.
And thank you so much for your wonderful offer to answer people’s questions about Ebola. Would you like to write a post about it, any length you like? And under that people could put whatever queries they have to you?
I can do that. I can try to get something to you by tomorrow evening. Just tell me how to get it to you can I’ll send it your way.
I work most days until 6:30pm but I’m off most weekends and on weekdays I work I’m available until midnight.
I can send you the blog post and you can post it whenever you think would be a good time for enough people to see it.
I’m happy to do it. I basically spend the majority of my time on FB answering questions and giving information out to my family and friends. Plus I love what I do and am always interested in spreading my knowledge around.
So hit me up on twitter with your email so I can send you the post tomorrow…I’m @psddluva4evah
A bit embarrassed I had to google iokiyar, but came up with a classic, a real gem from Paul K! Thought y’all would dig it! Sad not much has really changed, yet, thanks to PBO, there is tangible, credible, lasting change.
Back at cha! It’s true 🙂 We converse and help each other and laugh and suggest and share in all the goodness/ ugly that life throws…and we do it with good and open hearts…the way the world should be…
Oh, SWEET!! Whenever I hang around my 3 year old great niece, I nearly have to lie down. She loves to talk and play games. Very social but she’s also super sweet and loving. But, yeah, they can really be a bundle of energy. Adore their innocence.
Totally agree. He’s a little cautious about “growing up,” because he says he doesn’t want to “leave Mommy.” (Hey, didn’t we all feel that way?) So, today when he told me, “When I grow up, you and I can get married. And Mommy can be our baby,” it was totally in context.
Love the little darlin’. And – you are right – I think to myself, after spending time with him, so what if he doesn’t like to nap … I’ll take one for him. 🙂

Forget about feeling “like a room without a roof,” or whatever that “happy” song says. If you want to know “what happiness is to you,” try living in a social democracy.
A recent study confirms something leftists have suspected for a long time: People are happier in countries with larger governments, a more generous “welfare state” and more government intervention in the economy. Policies that depend on the so-called “free market,” on the other hand, decrease personal satisfaction.
This is not a matter of opinion, according to the data, but of fact.
HEY! Got ants in your pants? Want to do some good in battleground states and feel like you have nothing to do because you live in a solid blue state? Got you covered!!!
I’m telling *you all*, you ‘soap opera’/sitcom/whatever people freak me out! Here I am initially wondering who is this Will Gardner and under what circumstances was he shot; what connection did he have with Putin or AngelaM, etc etc? Only to read down and discover it was ‘fantasy’! Ho-nest-ly!!!!! 😀
I *really* like the Dem candidate for SD Senate — he’s a true progressive, perhaps even Presidential material, if the MSM weren’t such snobbish east coast elites.
Dems must work to make #LandslideDems2014 a reality.
With Senate and House majorities, we could actually see this happen:
I stand w/ @SenatorHarkin when it comes to scrapping the payroll tax cap, the current system is unfair to hard-working families. #sdsen#p2
In spite of Rachel’s flaws, I have to give her kudos for exposing these fake ebola websites, fake ebola suits and gear, and stupid questions asked by Faux news. 🙂 And yes, exposing Rand Paul also.
He is a total fraud. How can one create a board and certify themselves as an ophthalmologist by the board which they created? The entire Paul family is a fraud including the old man.
Heads up: I think this person has a great idea which can help her popularize namely ” #TheObamaBoom ” ;
we could add it to our tweets of positive news about PBO’s policies (especially the reports of great economic progress we have made over PBO’s time in office) ;
@QrsChocolate I am starting my campaign something no one is talking about its called the #TheObamaboom!!!!
CNN is reporting that Michael Brown’s blood was found on Darren Wilson’s gun. If true, who is leaking that now and why? All I can say is I do not trust anything which comes from that Ferguson police department or that D.A.
Evening folks
I don’t know where he gets the energy. I know he says the people make the difference. God bless him for that! Truly a man of the people.
Evening, vv24!

If you want to cool, if not, that’s cool too.
Just let me know.
I think that would be a good idea and even have it on the sidebar once other threads have started going. Chips, LL, NW, obviously this would work best when lamh36 has available time.
Great idea, japa21!
And lamh36, what a treat it would be to get knowledgeable information from a trusted source.
Have tuned out MSM on their 24/7 hysteria.
Thank you lamh, for the offer.
Brilliant and generous contribution, can be shared widely. Thank you, lamh36.
Excellent idea, lamh36..very nice to offer…and japa’s idea about the sidebar is great idea, too:)
Wonderful of you to offer to share your expertise, lamh36.
Just DM’d Chips. Sounds like a great idea.
I’ll do that now.
ok, wait, I just realized, I’m not sure how to do that…lol
LOL, don’t worry, I sent her a DM on Twitter.
cool thx.
Lamh, thank you! I think that would be an excellent idea.
Great idea, lamh, and very generous of your to offer your time and expertise.

15,000-20,000 Americans die each year from influenza. We were already ALL GOING TO DIE!!
Thank you. Now I can get on with my evening.
All kidding aside, you are so right – no reason to panic at this point, although some people seem to think panic is a good political tactic.
Just sayin’…..IOKIYAR!

I’m with you 100% on that. Best online community there is.
I’m with you 200% on that.
And how are you feeling tonight, meta? Still improving?
YASSSS!! I’m feeling very good. Just trying to build up my stamina. Even went to the movies today. Working on getting over my germ-o-phobia!!
How are you, darling?
Great!
And I’m fine, too – doing a little chilling after “listening” to my great grandson for 3 hours earlier today. Oh, I mean “hanging around with”!
He’s learning all the words there are, one at a time, and sharing them with me.
He’s lucky I love him to the moon and back!
Oh, SWEET!! Whenever I hang around my 3 year old great niece, I nearly have to lie down. She loves to talk and play games. Very social but she’s also super sweet and loving. But, yeah, they can really be a bundle of energy. Adore their innocence.

MUST READ 🙂 Pass along….
Nothing, and I mean NOTHING, makes one feel better when one is sick than beef lo mein and egg drop soup. Yum.
And I’ll DM Chips about lamh’s offer. Lord knows we need more science based analysis of Ebola.
See everyone tomorrow.
Science based analysis, IMAGINE THAT??? Shheeeeeesh
Take good care, LL.

It’s great fun to make these calls ( SERIOUSLY!) and you can really, really make a difference. Please consider this…your heart will be happy!
Laughter break!!
will gardner shot dead? wtf?
I’m telling you, I was SHOCKED. Really blew everybody’s mind with that one. People on twitter were practically asking for others to hold them. LOLz.
just saw the episode y’day night. It was an unexpected shocker alright.
And I think it was very well done. Great acting on everyone’s part. The writers and principal actors had to hold that secret for months. Amazing.
And here I was joking about diane killing him and getting the judgeship. eerie deja vu.
I know. It was bugging me that you almost guessed.
The next couple of episodes really show everyone’s real grief that he left the show. Interesting and powerful.
Him and alicia are the anchors of the show. I don’t know how interesting it would be without him from now on.
It sorts itself out in different and unexpected ways.
idk. If it is going to be only about her, ….

Rand Paul is a dam jackass.

A leading American cardinal has told the Buzz Feed website that he is to be demoted from his position running the Catholic Church justice system.
Cardinal Raymond Burke is a staunch critic of Pope Francis’ moves to soften the Church’s stance on homosexuality.
He is to be moved to the far less senior post of patron of the sovereign military order of Malta.
Pope Francis is leading a council in the Vatican on possible reforms to Church teaching on social issues.

I have ABSOLUTELY no idea how I posted the full page. SORRY!
Note at the bottom of each page – “permission is granted to reprint” – so they want it posted JoB – a good read.
Just meant to link to the page, not the long version! Oh, well, lessons learned!
JOB, I’m glad you posted it all. It’s a very, very powerful statement and absolutely true. Thank you.
Glad you found it, and I agree. Good morning to you.
