Storms from the Midwest are passing through north Georgia. Prayers for the safety of those who were in the path of the tornados and severe storms.

Morning all. Hope everyone in the path of the storms uses common sense and stays safe. We had a good fundraiser for our local state rep candidate. Lots of people showed up and he has total union support since he’s been a union man and rep all of his life. There are three candidates running on the so-called Republican side from a far right TPer to a Libertarian to an ‘establishment’ Independent. Only the Dem candidate can truly be called sane.

    I’m heeeere! 😀

Five minutes after I stepped out of the shower and 50 minutes before I would have been expected in I got a robo-cancellation call! *That* suits me just fine since the first call last night was unexpected – people don’t *usually* call in sick FOR the day after a holiday unless they can produce a doctor’s certificate.

Now I have a whole day to get in trouble, which I’ll have to use well as I already am booked to go in tomorrow. 😀

O….. GOOD TUESDAY, EVERYONE!! It’s off to a great start, ain’t it? 🙂

  9. October 14, 2014 at 8:06 am

Good morning Ms. Chips, Danny and TOD family, I hope all is well with everyone this lovely Tuesday morning. Congrats swbluega, on being first this morning.

Thank God that President Obama is still the President of The United States of America.

    GM TODville.

Safe travels to those in today’s dangerous weather zones.

Seems to me that SurveyUSA was just about the worst pollster around last time. Check out the (ludicrous) second tweet:

Colorado Dems, we need your help to GOTV.

    • October 14, 2014 at 8:31 am

Chris Harris seems to be mocking the poll though. He posts “right” at the end in a sarcastic seeming manner. No?

      • October 14, 2014 at 8:44 am

If that is true and the Latinos are punishing the president(like the elite liberals did when no public option) then something else is afoot!
I don’t think it is true, at least I hope not.

      • October 14, 2014 at 8:47 am

Also we need colorado if they win colorado its over. So this race is very important.

        • October 14, 2014 at 9:24 am

Jovie, I’m going to say this if the Latinos think they are punishing the President then they are STUPID. It’s their own self who they are punishing. The Latinos and all those who didn’t come out to vote in 2010 is to blame for Immigration reform not being done. So helping the Republicans get the Senate is going to help Immigration get done.

Howdy Chips! I see that Mark Knoller has started his PBO-trolling quite early this morning….with his nonsense about “photo-op”and “PBO’s 60th fundraiser for the year.”

Markie must be feeling rather insecure about SOMETHING.

        • October 14, 2014 at 9:07 am

Oh Hopefruit, I had a good old chuckle about that one, he just can’t hide his contempt. I think he’s still depressed after the great jobs news, not to mention the success of Obamacare. His world is falling apart 🙂

            October 14, 2014 at 9:57 am

You’re so right about Markie. And in general, I think the midterms are not panning out exactly as the media hoped. I see the frustration and anger in their attitudes and reports – they are all in “attack Obama” mode and will be that way for the next 3 weeks.

Using White Out in Kentucky – by BooMan ………Tue Oct 14th, 2014 at 08:58:58 AM EST

I guess we will find out who is dumber, the voters in Kentucky or the national political press corp. Mitch McConnell is asking the voters in Kentucky to believe that ObamaCare can be repealed “root and branch” without it negatively affecting the health care coverage that at least 10% of Kentuckians are getting from the state’s Kynect health care exchange. But Kynect and ObamaCare are synonymous.

What an inspiration she is. She has every reason in the world to keep herself safe and yet she’s out there on the front lines taking the heat. What a portrait in courage she is.

Is everyone depressed re. Miz Ann closing the door on another willard run. She said they are “done done done”, not gonna happen. So sob sob sob. I’m going to really miss Willard. I just loved his rendition of “Who let the dogs out?” Arf, arf, arf.

    GM all.

The GOP have the MSM battalions at full throttle. The same guy who said that the PBO presidency was basicallyover in 2012 after the DesMoines Register endorsement of Mitt Romney because PBO didn’t do a sit down interview with them says this:
