Yes, DF – most definitely you. Congratulations! Chips, I emailed you a bunch of photo files and a TV link for the Joe Biden event. I know I should figure out how to make a report, but now I’m cleaning my entire house to have 55 people over here this weekend for a big Merkley fundraiser. It’s got a focus on women’s issues and features Mary Sorteberg, R.N. who is Senator Merkley’s wife.

Ah, thanks a MILLION Judith, will check them now and use them in a later post. Hope you saw my message earlier, congrats again, you were WONDERFUL!!!!!

Wow! Judith, I’m impressed with your willingness to hold a fundraiser in your home. It exhausts me just to think about cleaning and cooking for 55 people, plus a distinguished guest. You are one courageous woman!!

I’m probably nuts (at least my dear husband who can’t see dust or mess thinks so), but I did gratefully accept all offers of food. It’s a tea from 3-5 so pretty simple. I’ve never had more than 30 people in here before, and now the RSVPs are up to 60. For once, I hope a dozen or so send in their contribution but to skip the actual event.

Waiting for FLOTUS to speak in Iowa – http://www.desmoinesregister.com/videos/news/politics/2014/10/10/4903715/ – hopefully soon. Don’t want to have to choose between FLOTUS and POTUS… 🙂

Denver Post Dumps Udall, Endorses Gardner in Colorado Senate Race

The editorial board particularly singled out the Udall campaign’s focus on women’s issues.

“Rather than run on his record, Udall’s campaign has devoted a shocking amount of energy and money trying to convince voters that Gardner seeks to outlaw birth control despite the congressman’s call for over-the-counter sales of contraceptives,” the Post wrote. “Udall is trying to frighten voters rather than inspire them with a hopeful vision. His obnoxious one-issue campaign is an insult to those he seeks to convince.”

The Post endorsed Democratic Sen. Michael Bennet in 2010 and President Barack Obama in 2008 and 2012.

The newspaper explained that it believed Republicans would “temper their policies” with control of the Senate.

    These people are delusional….

Good God. The “OTC” birth control is a lie and a ruse. There is a reason birth control pills are not OTC. And it’s not the only issue with birth control – what about IUD’s.

“Delusional” doesn’t even come close. The deranged GOP will “temper their policies”?!?! I have a bridge to sell the idiots on the Denver Post Board.

This park is where I used to all the time when I leaved in Glendora, CA. Still have friends and family close. Too bad you can’t see the mountains clearly. I am working so can’t hear his speech. Depending on Nerdy’s great tweets.

My trip to Kansas was great. I have great hope for Kansas. I didn’t talk politics with family, but they all expressed quietly. That the 2 have to go. I knew they were talking about Brown back and Roberts. Colorado Springs is the Repub hot bed. Everyone I visited there are Conservative Christian Repub. I kept my mouth shut. I do love my brother most of the time.

Again I say thank you to Chips, NW, all the BT’s, all who post and lurk here for loving the truth. With all the lies and fear monger, we must work hard to make sure the truth is out there. I knew we are fighting all this money and on this trip I really saw the difference in TV ads and billboards, but we have the truth and people. I do have faith. We must give this President help.

There is concern in MT but Den house candidate John Lewis has received big newspaper endorsements. There is hope.

I really hope everyone takes heed:

UGH… I unmuted my tv and it was Ezra Klein whining to Howard Dean that PBO has not done ANYTHING about campaign finance.

Luckily Dean shut his up pretty damn quick.
