Chuck Todd attacked Alison Lundergan Grimes on MSNBC by claiming that she disqualified herself from being elected to the Senate from Kentucky by not saying who she voted for in 2012.
After Joe Scarborough had treated Grimes’ refusal to say whether or not she voted for Obama as the biggest mistake in the history of elections, Chuck Todd went full Republican hack.
Todd said, “Even to say you regret your vote would almost be as disingenuous, but that is if Kentuckians expect her to cast a tough vote on anything. Is she ever going to answer a tough question on anything? You want to be a U.S. Senator? If you can’t say, if you can’t find a way to stand behind your party’s president. You can disagree with him, but you can’t answer that basic question, and come across looking that ridiculous. I think she just disqualified herself.”

Her vote is policy? She is a ConserDem.
But the 2% lead over McConnell is the driving Force here. NConnell was on a radio show angry and borderline loony……so now, the DC/NY pundits want to change the conversation and Once Again Have The Obama Name to drum up the juice flowing in the bloodstream of these KY folks with Racial animus.
McConnell has been in office for 30 years. It is his Votes and Policies that should count for he is asking for a re-election.
Michelle Obama is phenomenal on the campaign trail. She’s so passionate, so appealing, so sympathetic and understanding of her audience. Any candidate who gets her to support him or her is very, very fortunate. She can also talk about the president’s accomplishments in a way that really highlights how magnificent his presidency has been.
The thing about Alison Grimes is that somebody in her camp should have told her to support the President. I’m starting to believe that she had tacit approval from the Clinton camp to distance herself from President Obama, but at what cost. She had better hope she wins her race, because if she doesn’t she’s going to learn a valuable lesson about the Clintons.
Alison Grimes seems like a Clinton controlled robot, put in place to insult The President and to help Mitch keep his seat. I want so badly to be wrong in this.
And no matter what her motive is, she is a (D.) So I am rooting for her and will be cheering if she wins her race.
Have had a long day. Mr. dotster has been sicky all week, begged him to go to the dr. every day, but noooooooo. Well, he finally was feeling so terrible that at 3:30a.m. we were off to the ER. To make a long story short, they found a spot of pneumonia on his lungs, has been getting breathing treatments and powerful antibiotic drips etc., is spending the night at the hospital, should hopefully be able to come home tomorrow.
Anyhoo, was glad I got home in time to see Michelle fire up the crowd at the Braley event. He seems to be very fond of both Obamas. That race is so critical, may be key to holding the senate, and the Repub, Joni Ernst is a nightmare to end all nightmares, a Palin, Michelle Bachmann type extremist whacko-bird. And I really like Braley, only got mad at him about one vote, which is likely explained by the very tight race there with the ultra-conservative goofball. But I think he is a very smart, decent sort, have donated and plan to make some calls to my old home state Iowa peeps for him. I can’t believe that Iowa, a state that has always had a common sense reputation and voted twice for PBO would all of a sudden vote for an off the charts nutty nut whose only claim to fame is her expertise at deballing hogs.
I want Mitch to lose badly…but I aint feeling Ms. Grimes at at all…she’s been very disrepectful of this President…whom has don right by All americans whether you voted for him or not…I.DO.NOT.LIKE.HER.AT.ALL.
