    Awesome tweets, Nerdy.

And, there is nothing more civilized that a cold gimlet in a chilled cocktail glass. Bliss.

Still groaning from my evening of work: watching the stupidest television I have the ordinary joy of missing! Anyway, one ad (I think was an ad) said Americans consume an average of 100 ACRES of pizza every damn day. And I’m guessing that is a low average. I still feel disgusted. But anyway, all the ads for pills, potions, cars, Internet, everything, the ads are just revolting. If America is really watching that garbage, day in, day out, over and over and over, for hours on end, well. No wonder we are stupid compared to the rest of the world. Dd I mention it’s also exhausting?

🙂 Good job, hardart…now, when Nov comes around, take 5 people with you to the polls and share your knowledge with your friends. We can do this!

Really, at this point can we call it anything other than a genocide? Gazans have NO.WHERE.TO.GO. and are being bombed on a daily basis.

I honestly think something has popped. He’s not acting rationally. He’s always been about securing domestic power. But how will he do that if he’s a pariah, where even the US has to tone down its support? Maybe he sees himself as the Jewish Messiah: the promised one who will make Israel the arbiter of nations.

Some Israelis want to expand Israel and take over all of the middle east… I am not saying Netanyahu is like that. I read from one his officials how she felt that all Palestinians are evil and their mothers should all be killed t stop them from breeding more snakes. It got worse and made me think of all the evils I read of the Holocaust and made me shuddered at the venom of it all. Some have said, “The only innocents being killed are Israeli soldiers.”

It’s disgusting and horrifies me. 😦

Already had donated twice this week, once with sending back PBO’s Bday card sent out my MO and the DNC,the other to DCCC.
I then said that’s it for this month. Then to my dismay those GOP SOBs came out with their disgusting lawsuit this afternoon and
I had to dig deep and donate again tonight. Especially after I got Miss Nancy’s e-mail. I will make whatever sacrifices necessary
to get these GOP Bastards out of our lives this Nov…might even end up living in a shelter my husband teases me.

The NERVE of these Do-Nothing GOP parasites in congress taking our hard earned tax dollars in big salaries, then to turn
around and sue our hard working President!!! I am fit to be tied. We will NOT let them get away with this stunt.

    Can’t wait for November TOD.

In a nutshell, Nerdy! That there is our problem, actually their problem. Suck it up, GOP—-we have a few more years and if we vote in November they will be the best years ever.

An email from Dan Pfeiffer at the White House:

The House of Representatives just took a vote — and it wasn’t to raise the minimum wage, put in place equal pay, create jobs, or reform our broken immigration system.

Instead, the Republican-controlled House of Representatives just voted to sue the President for using his executive authority. This lawsuit will waste valuable time and potentially millions of taxpayer dollars.

This is the least productive Congress in decades. And instead of doing their job, they are suing the President for doing his.

The President is committed to making a difference for the millions of hardworking Americans trying to do right by their families and communities. While Republicans in Congress continue to waste taxpayer money, this President is going to keep doing his job.

If you’re doing your own job — and you support President Obama doing his — add your name here:

Glad so many others are donating…..I have been and will continue to do so. Loved the comment about the person on Facebook who said he/she was donating and immediately got fifty replies about doing the same. We can beat the Kochs and Rove, and all the other dark money. We showed it in 2008 and in 2012, and will do it again in 2014!

So good to see and hear POTUS and FLOTUS meeting people, being their positive selves and moving forward! They are a North Star for all Americans. Loved Linda Ronstadt’s comment about PBO’s “grace and dignity.” So true!!!

We are having big rains here in OK, and our TV is out! Something happened to the towers I guess, so it has been a lovely evening. Watched a Poirot Mystery on Acorn, through ROKU……much preferable to TV. Last night the weatherman said this rain could break our drought….but since there was no TV tonight don’t know if it happened. Today was like a March rainy day, low temps along with the rain, but no tornadoes or high winds. Wish California and Arizona could have a similar day!

our president was elected easily TWICE to do this job with this exact agenda. the overwhelming majority of voters elected president obama to do exactly what he’s been doing. and “the news” and republicans seem to think that following the democratic process in the constitution is grounds for a frivolous lawsuit and talk of impeachment?!? “the news” is just pure and utter insanity, and the people that follow it and believe it, even just a bit, and almost as bad. crazy times we’re living in, and thank god for president obama being exactly where he is right now. i just can’t even imagine where things would be if never decided to run, or “wait his turn” as many white “progressives” were saying. the perfect person for this time in history, and i’m so thankful to have been able to help him do what he does.

Caught the last 5 minutes or so – what I saw was great
He’s so cute, smart, well spoken and sexy. One thing that stuck with me was what he said about the press posturing for the cameras. He said the briefings on AG1 was much different.
I absolutely love that man. He was so damn good at his job too. I see why the president wasn’t too thrilled he left.

I also got the impression they became good friends and confirmation that the media chatter about Obama being detached not making new friends in DC is just bullshit

And then there’s this nugget of truth:)

Six years they’ve been telling us Obama is going to destroy America. And every year it gets louder and more shrill and more strident and more panicked and more desperately insane.

And yet – and yet – far from an America destroyed, our nation has steadily improved day by day, month after month, year after year during the entirety of Obama’s Administration. We are better off here in the United States than we have ever been and better off than nearly anywhere else on the planet.

In much of the rest of the world the problems are starvation, hunger, malnutrition, pervasive poverty, epidemic disease, war, rape, terror, slavery, horrifying oppression, homelessness, murder, genocide, natural and manmade disasters in endless succession.

But here in the United States, we are so well off that our worst problem at present, the “crisis” that presently dominates our headlines, is that millions of the less fortunate desperately want to become Americans.

Jim Wright is right – and a great writer.

“These people, they’re always shocked and dismayed and embarrassed when the hate and rage and naked fear they themselves created and encouraged boils over and the howling mob rises up and starts lighting shit on fire. ‘

This should have been screamed from the rafters by EVERY media person when Gabby Giffords was shot. I am still amazed that the person who targeted Ms Giffords still speaks her hate from one end of the country to the other.

      Good morning, Mr. Bobfr.
      Thank you.
You brought some joy inside my tears.
Life is a gift. No one has the right to take away that precious gift.
This is coming from someone who has struggled with the death penalty over the years. even if it personally affected me and my family.
Praying daily for a forgiving heart has turned a heart of stone to flesh.
If only those who yearn for wars and practice hate learn to forgive.
      We can only imagine…..
