    Good morning again, TOD.
    It is a good morning indeed.

    Iran/US talks still looking pretty good. Cautious optimism is my plan.

    Please everyone, watch Bill Maher’s New Rules, the segment in the last minute of his show. Bill disarticulates the rascist dopes ruining America.

          After the speech President Obama met with the two brothers back stage. Their complaint was that not enough was being down about immigration, they have several family members that are stuck in limbo. As always these hecklers haven’t figured out that President Obama is on their side, these hecklers never seem to heckle the politicians that don’t and couldn’t give two fucks about them.

            Actually, it is because they know he is on their side that they do the heckling, because they know he will listen. Heckling the GOP will get them nowhere and possibly arrested.

            Not saying it is right, just explaining.

            Before you go and heckle the President, wouldn’t it be nice to know where he stand on the issues you are concern about? I am so against this heckling mess, seem to me there are such better ways to gget your point across. At least they got a meeting with the President, but I do not like heckling people like that.

                Wishing you a “BEAUTIFUL SATURDAY” anniebella,

                When it comes to President Barack H. Obama; the words disrespect and rude were stripped from the dictionary by those who will disrespect him no matter what he is doing for the country.

                How be it, that you are in the presence of the President of the United States of America, and you PUBLICLY DISPLAY your ignorance with no shame?

                You reap what you are sowing, and one day, they that do it, will reap their own disrespectful ways because someone will publicly shame them.

                Plant good seeds or ugly seeds, expect the harvest you have planted.

    Okay, I finally took some time to listen to this speech that Isonprize shared here last night – it’s 40 minutes after all! I’m pleased that I did as it was very re-affirming, and could be a good resource if you have highly ‘religious/conservative’ friends/family members. It basically discusses real morality and justice. If you haven’t already watched, I’d recommend it.

    Good Southwest Morning Everyone!

    The International Folk Art Festival is happening this weekend in Santa Fe. Artists from all over the world descend on Museum Hill to sell their beautiful wares. It’s getting bigger and bigger every year and I think they are going to have to find a larger venue as people from all over the country are coming to partake.

    I volunteered last year, but this year we’ll probably go tomorrow afternoon (when the discounts begin) to listen to the great music and indulge in delicious international cuisine. I have a friend originally from Cameroon who operates a food stand there each year. It’s almost the only time of the year I can have a delicious spinach dish she makes. Yes spinach…trust me, it’s da bomb and she won’t give me the recipe!

    the tweet below is an example of grassroots activity in Ohio focused on the 2014 Mid-term election;

    FitzGerald is the Dem candidate for governor who is trying to unseat rightwinger and kochbros-favorite kasich;

    If you have some relevant information for Ohio, please forward it to the Dem candidate – Ohio needs your help;

    reason: most people (especially out-of-state-Dems) are not focusing on kasich any more but he may be the gop’s sleeper candidate;

    some of you must remember how arrogant kasich is by nature but now has decided to things more quietly;

    first action after his win in 2010 was to publicly call police who stopped his speeding car as idiots and fools;

    he used his 0.5% vote win over Dem governor to tell voters in the ultimate swing state of Ohio to : either support his policies or be run-over by him and republicans;

    after the “at the ballot-box thrashing” kaisch got from unions & unions-supporting voters when he publicly tried to nullify worker’s rights – he decided to change his public stance and work more underground,

    he has changed his approach and asked the gerrymandered-gop-dominated Ohio legislature to take the lead on passing ALEC policies;

    kasich has quietly signed some of the hardright ALEC-written policies into law – against voting rights, women, education, environment, public transportation etc;

    he has also taken secret trips to the kochbros to solicit support for 2016;

    Good Morning my Chips and TOD family. It is a lovely bright and sunny morning here on the west coast. Rather warm, but it is a joy to be a part of life on this beautiful day.

    I am hoping that all of my TOD family will have a lovely weekend. Do something fun and relaxing. Remember we have to continue to get our strength of togetherness to ready ourselves for getting out the voters for Nov.

    I love Rev. Dr. Barber. He is a faithful soul, and he has been for a long time. He is a serious person who believes in organizing and moving ahead. We all owe him a debt of gracious love for all of his inspiration to the young and old. I love this man.

    Our President and Vice President are working so hard for all of us. I love our President and VP. Gratefulness to our beautiful FLOTUS and Dr. Jill Biden. What a beautiful team we were given.

    Go Brooklyn, I am so happy for our good news. Eat some ice cream to celebrate. I love you GoBrooklyn. Yardam, so happy for your success with your surgery. Take good care of yourself, my friend.
    CarolMae, keep resting and relaxing. We need you to pamper yourself. I keep you in my quiet time of prayer and meditation.

    To Nerdy W., I thank you so much for all that you give us daily.

    I love our TOD family, and keep your goodness of thoughts going forth for our beloved President, VP, AG, Sec. Jeh Johnson and Sec. Kerry. Lift them up in your positive space.

    POTUS maybe golfing this weekend. Clear the head. I hope he will get some relaxing time. He never stops, and he never will. I love my President of these United States. Sending some grateful love to our military men and women. God bless and keep them safe for all of us.

    Be kind to yourself, Be gentle to your space, Be thoughts of others in need, Be grateful for your family members, Be loving and grateful for your children, and Keep a bright light of loving goodness all around you as you enjoy your Sat. I love you all so much. Do not worry about me, I will be fine. Quietness needed and ordered by my loving brother. Will do. Cannot stop working for others as well. Love () HZ

      I do hope that you are following your brothers orders : ) , and I hope that you are doing well. Thank you for your advice when I went through my sickness last week; kept the water near, put away a gallon each day, and I am so grateful that I am feeling better. God is good all of the time.

      As always,your words are beautifully comforting and inspiring. May you “always” be blessed indeed in every aspect of your life. I am praying for your good health; keep believing, keep the faith and follow your brother’s orders : )

      Wishing you a WONDERFUL and BLESSED day and weekend.

        A beautiful Sat., to you, Cindy. I am so grateful that you are feeling better. Keep the water and your favorites to keep up the hydration. Lots of loving healing hugs to you, Cindy. Your words are an inspiration to me as well.

        Oh, I will listen to my loving encourager, my loving brother. I only have one, and I can at least give him less worry if I follow his wise words. A common respect to our mother and father. I am going to be fine. I just do a little much when I do get going with my selective chores.

        God is good, and gracious in the loving measurements of kindness to me, loving family and dear friends, and the faith within my beautiful family. Things and beautiful angels of compassion, wisdom, and love keep entering into my space. There is a beautiful well of goodness within our spaces. Dip the blessed cups of gratefulness down into the wells of loving opportunities so others will and can be blessed as well.

        Keep cool, eat healthy, and drink your H2o, Cindy. Love you dearly.HZ

    PBO gave us a blue-print to follow so as to turn the humanitarian crisis at the border into a demand that cry-baby rusty boehner and his deadbeat congressional republicans pass the comprehensive immigration bill;

    I think that even if these demands were to fail, the resulting action would help mobilize Latinos and other voters who support immigration reform

    For quite some time I’ve been trying my best to give one or two fucks about the NSA, Google and Facebook and their attempts at trying to figure out everyone’s next move. We used technology to tract down and kill Osama bin Laden, some will say that isn’t the same as the NSA trying to figure out whom I’m going to send my next naked selfie to. Maybe I’m apathetic, who knows, but at this point in time I just don’t see the outrage that others see when it comes to the NSA.

    • 101 desertflower
      July 12, 2014 at 12:11 pm

      Well…join the club! This “outrage” from the same people that tell the world when they take a “trip to the library” ( read: poop) I have better things to worry about.

    • 102 Vicki
      July 12, 2014 at 12:12 pm

      Me neither, Don. Not saying I’m right, but the fuss about privacy we have surrendered long ago, seems to me like no more than the latest excuse to bash POTUS.

    • July 12, 2014 at 12:14 pm

      Here’s the thing: people willingly give out their personal information for the chance to get something for free, and then are shocked, SHOCKED that intelligence agencies mine data to discern threats. No, dudebro, the NSA doesn’t care about your goat-porn fan fiction. However, if you make several calls to a suspect number in Pakistan, yeah, I kind of want the govt to know that.

    • 106 Cindy
      July 12, 2014 at 12:24 pm

      There is no “real” privacy for the most part. I’ve wondered about the outrage as well because people freely give up their privacy when they complete that job application, credit application and hell, just being on line.

      When I worked at the Wall Street firms, we were required to submit our credit report, asset and liability contract and our bank account statements each year.

      They didn’t want to hire people who were in excessive debt because they didn’t want anyone taking advantage of a client out of desperation as it relates to sales. I had been awarded funds due to a major accident; no debts, and I had to have my attorneys fax over a copy of the lawsuit to prove where the funds came from. They had to see “everything.”

      So there is no “real privacy” especially if you are applying for anything.

    • July 12, 2014 at 12:26 pm

      I’m still outraged at GWB not heeding the intelligence community’s warnings in August 2001, Don.

      Since Barack Obama became President, as I try to explain to people, unless you are intent on doing harm to the USA, the NSA considers you NOISE in their sigint. And, the first question I ask any of those screaming about the NSA is ‘do you have a Facebook, Google, Yahoo, Instagram, Twitter, etc., account? If the answer is ‘yes,’ I just smile and tell’um the facts.

    • 109 Nena20409
      July 12, 2014 at 12:29 pm

      I get the outrage. However, since the invention and accessibility of the Smart Phones…..the intrusions by Cable, Social Media companies, etc……then coupled with these same people Not giving a darn about Voter Suppression, Income inequality, Unions of all stripes, Wages, Cost of Child care, Plight of Cities like Detroit, Education, CIR, etc…….I respectfully give them my middle fingers.

      The problems affecting Many is more tangible than those wanting to write thesis theorizing and exercising their intellectual arguments 24/7 while wildly speculative is of no consequence to me.

      Note that their solutions are Utopian……even simplicity anarchistic.

      • 110 hopefruit2
        July 12, 2014 at 12:36 pm

        Nena I give them the middle finger as well. And seriously, I don’t get the outrage. There’s simply no reason for it. Their motives are highly suspect and my guess is that once PBO leaves office, all this NSA talk is going to disappear – unless of course, they can find a way to continue to blame/attack him post-Presidency.

        It’s all about President Obama, and nothing to do with surveillance or civil liberties.

          The reason I say I get it…is that ACLU is always fighting and agitating….I get their involvement for they have done so for decades. In a Democratic Republic, such non-profit groups are needed.
