After the speech President Obama met with the two brothers back stage. Their complaint was that not enough was being down about immigration, they have several family members that are stuck in limbo. As always these hecklers haven’t figured out that President Obama is on their side, these hecklers never seem to heckle the politicians that don’t and couldn’t give two fucks about them.
Actually, it is because they know he is on their side that they do the heckling, because they know he will listen. Heckling the GOP will get them nowhere and possibly arrested.
Before you go and heckle the President, wouldn’t it be nice to know where he stand on the issues you are concern about? I am so against this heckling mess, seem to me there are such better ways to gget your point across. At least they got a meeting with the President, but I do not like heckling people like that.
When it comes to President Barack H. Obama; the words disrespect and rude were stripped from the dictionary by those who will disrespect him no matter what he is doing for the country.
How be it, that you are in the presence of the President of the United States of America, and you PUBLICLY DISPLAY your ignorance with no shame?

The International Folk Art Festival is happening this weekend in Santa Fe. Artists from all over the world descend on Museum Hill to sell their beautiful wares. It’s getting bigger and bigger every year and I think they are going to have to find a larger venue as people from all over the country are coming to partake.
I volunteered last year, but this year we’ll probably go tomorrow afternoon (when the discounts begin) to listen to the great music and indulge in delicious international cuisine. I have a friend originally from Cameroon who operates a food stand there each year. It’s almost the only time of the year I can have a delicious spinach dish she makes. Yes spinach…trust me, it’s da bomb and she won’t give me the recipe!

Whenever I see a sign like that I think of Joseph Conrad. Born Józef Teodor Konrad Korzeniowski, he emigrated to Britain from Poland pretty much not knowing a lick of English. PBO gave us a blue-print to follow so as to turn the humanitarian crisis at the border into a demand that cry-baby rusty boehner and his deadbeat congressional republicans pass the comprehensive immigration bill;
I think that even if these demands were to fail, the resulting action would help mobilize Latinos and other voters who support immigration reform
For quite some time I’ve been trying my best to give one or two fucks about the NSA, Google and Facebook and their attempts at trying to figure out everyone’s next move. We used technology to tract down and kill Osama bin Laden, some will say that isn’t the same as the NSA trying to figure out whom I’m going to send my next naked selfie to. Maybe I’m apathetic, who knows, but at this point in time I just don’t see the outrage that others see when it comes to the NSA.
Well…join the club! This “outrage” from the same people that tell the world when they take a “trip to the library” ( read: poop) I have better things to worry about.
Me neither, Don. Not saying I’m right, but the fuss about privacy we have surrendered long ago, seems to me like no more than the latest excuse to bash POTUS.
Here’s the thing: people willingly give out their personal information for the chance to get something for free, and then are shocked, SHOCKED that intelligence agencies mine data to discern threats. No, dudebro, the NSA doesn’t care about your goat-porn fan fiction. However, if you make several calls to a suspect number in Pakistan, yeah, I kind of want the govt to know that.
There is no “real” privacy for the most part. I’ve wondered about the outrage as well because people freely give up their privacy when they complete that job application, credit application and hell, just being on line.
When I worked at the Wall Street firms, we were required to submit our credit report, asset and liability contract and our bank account statements each year.
They didn’t want to hire people who were in excessive debt because they didn’t want anyone taking advantage of a client out of desperation as it relates to sales. I had been awarded funds due to a major accident; no debts, and I had to have my attorneys fax over a copy of the lawsuit to prove where the funds came from. They had to see “everything.”
So there is no “real privacy” especially if you are applying for anything.
I’m still outraged at GWB not heeding the intelligence community’s warnings in August 2001, Don.
Since Barack Obama became President, as I try to explain to people, unless you are intent on doing harm to the USA, the NSA considers you NOISE in their sigint. And, the first question I ask any of those screaming about the NSA is ‘do you have a Facebook, Google, Yahoo, Instagram, Twitter, etc., account? If the answer is ‘yes,’ I just smile and tell’um the facts.
I get the outrage. However, since the invention and accessibility of the Smart Phones…..the intrusions by Cable, Social Media companies, etc……then coupled with these same people Not giving a darn about Voter Suppression, Income inequality, Unions of all stripes, Wages, Cost of Child care, Plight of Cities like Detroit, Education, CIR, etc…….I respectfully give them my middle fingers.
The problems affecting Many is more tangible than those wanting to write thesis theorizing and exercising their intellectual arguments 24/7 while wildly speculative is of no consequence to me.
Note that their solutions are Utopian……even simplicity anarchistic.
Nena I give them the middle finger as well. And seriously, I don’t get the outrage. There’s simply no reason for it. Their motives are highly suspect and my guess is that once PBO leaves office, all this NSA talk is going to disappear – unless of course, they can find a way to continue to blame/attack him post-Presidency.
It’s all about President Obama, and nothing to do with surveillance or civil liberties.
The reason I say I get it…is that ACLU is always fighting and agitating….I get their involvement for they have done so for decades. In a Democratic Republic, such non-profit groups are needed.

Oh, I will listen to my loving encourager, my loving brother. I only have one, and I can at least give him less worry if I follow his wise words. A common respect to our mother and father. I am going to be fine. I just do a little much when I do get going with my selective chores.
God is good, and gracious in the loving measurements of kindness to me, loving family and dear friends, and the faith within my beautiful family. Things and beautiful angels of compassion, wisdom, and love keep entering into my space. There is a beautiful well of goodness within our spaces. Whenever I see a sign like that I think of Joseph Conrad. Born Józef Teodor Konrad Korzeniowski, he emigrated to Britain from Poland pretty much not knowing a lick of English. And then he became one of the greatest novelists in the English language. If there’s an afterlife, I imagine him taking a shot of ambrosia every time someone makes one of these signs.

PBO gave us a blue-print to follow so as to turn the humanitarian crisis at the border into a demand that cry-baby rusty boehner and his deadbeat congressional republicans pass the comprehensive immigration bill;
I think that even if these demands were to fail, the resulting action would help mobilize Latinos and other voters who support immigration reform
For quite some time I’ve been trying my best to give one or two fucks about the NSA, Google and Facebook and their attempts at trying to figure out everyone’s next move. We used technology to tract down and kill Osama bin Laden, some will say that isn’t the same as the NSA trying to figure out whom I’m going to send my next naked selfie to. Maybe I’m apathetic, who knows, but at this point in time I just don’t see the outrage that others see when it comes to the NSA.
Well…join the club! This “outrage” from the same people that tell the world when they take a “trip to the library” ( read: poop) I have better things to worry about.
Me neither, Don. Not saying I’m right, but the fuss about privacy we have surrendered long ago, seems to me like no more than the latest excuse to bash POTUS.
Here’s the thing: people willingly give out their personal information for the chance to get something for free, and then are shocked, SHOCKED that intelligence agencies mine data to discern threats. No, dudebro, the NSA doesn’t care about your goat-porn fan fiction. However, if you make several calls to a suspect number in Pakistan, yeah, I kind of want the govt to know that.

There is no “real” privacy for the most part. I’ve wondered about the outrage as well because people freely give up their privacy when they complete that job application, credit application and hell, just being on line.
When I worked at the Wall Street firms, we were required to submit our credit report, asset and liability contract and our bank account statements each year.
They didn’t want to hire people who were in excessive debt because they didn’t want anyone taking advantage of a client out of desperation as it relates to sales. I had been awarded funds due to a major accident; no debts, and I had to have my attorneys fax over a copy of the lawsuit to prove where the funds came from. They had to see “everything.”
So there is no “real privacy” especially if you are applying for anything.
I’m still outraged at GWB not heeding the intelligence community’s warnings in August 2001, Don.
Since Barack Obama became President, as I try to explain to people, unless you are intent on doing harm to the USA, the NSA considers you NOISE in their sigint. And, the first question I ask any of those screaming about the NSA is ‘do you have a Facebook, Google, Yahoo, Instagram, Twitter, etc., account? If the answer is ‘yes,’ I just smile and tell’um the facts.

I get the outrage. However, since the invention and accessibility of the Smart Phones…..the intrusions by Cable, Social Media companies, etc……then coupled with these same people Not giving a darn about Voter Suppression, Income inequality, Unions of all stripes, Wages, Cost of Child care, Plight of Cities like Detroit, Education, CIR, etc…….I respectfully give them my middle fingers.
The problems affecting Many is more tangible than those wanting to write thesis theorizing and exercising their intellectual arguments 24/7 while wildly speculative is of no consequence to me.
Note that their solutions are Utopian……even simplicity anarchistic.
Nena I give them the middle finger as well. And seriously, I don’t get the outrage. There’s simply no reason for it. Their motives are highly suspect and my guess is that once PBO leaves office, all this NSA talk is going to disappear – unless of course, they can find a way to continue to blame/attack him post-Presidency.
It’s all about President Obama, and nothing to do with surveillance or civil liberties.
The reason I say I get it…is that ACLU is always fighting and agitating….I get their involvement for they have done so for decades. In a Democratic Republic, such non-profit groups are needed.
