On this week tv show, dinesh d Souza was on talking about his crappy new film against the President and Hillary Clinton. The movie was about Saul Alinski and how Clinton and Barack are socialism defined. Wtf?
Why give this guy a platform? This guy is extreme in his vile views, yet gets interviewed on ABC?
I just don’t get it.
To folks like ABC it’s all about ratings. They would allow anything on if they thought it would give them ratings. ABC,CBS, CNN. MSNBC, NBC is just like Fox, not as bad but getting there.
Appalling that network MSM allow people like d’souza to spout their opinions without provide some context on what a RWNJ that person is.
Just a couple of examples from Wikipedia:
Colonialism

Abu Ghraib
Dinesh has argued that the Abu Ghraib torture and prisoner abuse scandal was a result of “the sexual immodesty of liberal America”. He further asserted that the conditions of prisoners at Abu Ghraib “are comparable to the accommodations in midlevel Middle Eastern hotels”.[45][46]
Did ABC mention that d’souza resigned as President of Kings College because he was caught with his mistress while still married? Or that he pled guilty to a felony (illegal campaign contributions)?
The MSM will give the microphone to anyone who provides anti-PBO content. This is why John McCain and his lover were on Face the Nation this morning (and can get booked on any political show they choose). It is not about ratings (ratings have been going down as Americans tune out the propaganda) it is about the corporations using the “news” organizations they own and control to advance their political objectives. News divisions have always been loss leaders (i.e., not a source of significant profits). For decades news divisions were maintained as a public service. Today, news divisions are used to spread anti-PBO/anti-Dem propaganda in an attempt to influence political policy and elections. The money to be gained by corporations and the 1% thru a GOP return to power via tax cuts and lack of regulation, far outstrip any money generated via ad revenues or clicks. It is about the corporations using the “news” providers they control to convince the populace to vote against their own interests. To divert attention from real news that effect real lives (like the recent anti-woman Supreme Ct decision) by promoting bogus polls concerning PBO. It is not about ratings. It is not about “horserace”. It is not about laziness (finding real GOP scandals seems to be an easy task). I wish the explanation for the decay of Fourth Estate was so innocent. Instead it is a concerted effort by the MSM and the GOP to keep the American people ignorant and powerless. A concerted effort to convince the American people that their friends are their enemies and their enemies are their friends.

Unfortunately, there was a fatal boat crash at Florida’s Dinner Key Marina; 4 dead and 7 hospitalized (various wounds, head injuries etc.) in a 3 boat crash. They are still trying to figure out what happened-very sad.
Rick Perry insists that the BORDER PROBLEMS are all President Obama’s fault. It never fails; repukes do nothing but play the blame game, and offer no solutions to any problems. Sadly, this is the crap that people vote for and vote into office.

But unaccompanied children from El Salvador, Honduras, and Guatemala cannot be sent back without going through the deportation process, since that law ensured that America wouldn’t send kids back to a dangerous situation. (Honduras, for example, has experiences increased gang violence in 40 percent of its territory, while violence against females is surging in Guatemala.) Authorities must instead process these children and determine whether they have credible proof that they cannot return to their countries of origin. Central American children are given basic care like medical screenings in processing centers before being placed with relatives or foster care until they can appear in front of immigration judges.

I received a letter in the mail this week from Bubba asking me to donate for the 2014 Senate races. The big sell was to help maintain PBO’s agenda. A fairly positive tone throughout with a re-iteration of what PBO and the Dems have accomplished in the last six years. I’m glad that Bill is lending his support to the 2014 midterms. When I first saw on the envelope that it was from “William J Clinton” I initially thought it was about Hilary and 2016.
So I’m pleasantly surprised there. 🙂
