Electric car maker Tesla will open up its patents “for the advancement of electric vehicle technology,” CEO Elon Musk said on Thursday.

President Barack Obama said Thursday that Iraq is “going to need more help” from the US to fight back a militant group that has already taken over two cities and vowed to march on to Baghdad.

Med. facility has been preparing for Bergdahl’s arrival since he was taken hostage. Still has a long, gradual re-integration process. Former hostage notes having to be retaught control over his life—–regaining the ability to decide when to eat, sleep, what to wear, when to go outside etc. Also said that there is a gradual exposure to family, that his 1st mtg. with his family lasted 45 minutes, and he was in a heightened state of anxiety by the end of it. And I would expect there may be additional concerns with Bergdahl, with his writings revealing a fragile grip on reality, a sense of losing his mind, even before he went missing. (and also revealed that spelling was not included in his home school teachings, if I may). Also news to me that he first enlisted in the Coast Guard but was “let go” after 6 weeks of training, not qualified. I wish him well; no one did him any favors in accepting his enlistment in the first place, never should have found himself in the military in Afghanistan.
He can expect some crazies hanging around with their oversized guns waiting to unload on innocent people; rearing from the chaos the repukes created with hate mongering for this family based on “their” lies.

Seeing all FLOTUS’ tweets re. healthy eating questions/answers made me think of this——my teacher daughter is tutoring in a great free summer program for her students at her h.s. in Indy—–teachers are available in all subjects—1/2 day–and breakfast and lunch are served, paid for by grant money. She said the meals are nutritious and delicious and encouraging to see the kids loving their broccoli and raisins and apples and bananas and veggie tray etc. along with their turkey wraps and roast beef sandwiches on whole grain. Also we laugh about her baby who is beginning solid foods—— now there are organic options in every veg. and fruit known to man—–and she gobbles everything down, has not refused one thing yet, even the kale mixture, a good little eater, that adorable little girl. She is certainly getting used to a big variety of tastes from the get go——way beyond the peas, beans and carrots of yore.

The attack on the Haqqani Taliban leadership left me thinking. Remember how we were informed that if the details of the Bergdahl swap were leaked prematurely, the deal was off and possibly Bergdahl would be killed?
I have a suspicion, based upon no knowledge, but just putting some pieces together.
Some suggested at the time that the no leaking condition was put in place due to some internal battles within the Haqqani Taliban. Is it possible that more than just Bergdahl was involved in the swap. Like maybe the location of the leaders that were just hit? There have been a lot of rumors about the Taliban negotiating with the Afghan government. Perhaps some of the Haqqani leadership opposed that idea and other members thought they needed to be gotten rid of w/o the blood being on their hands.
So for 4 minor Taliban and one who appears to no longer have full mental faculties, we got Bergdahl and some of the real hard core leaders.
Just a thought, and definitely not something that the government can let be known, not even to Congress. Maybe sometime in the future, the whole machinations behind the swap will come out.

He was correct in telling the college student to “become fully engaged and go to the voting booth”. Too many voting age people are not doing their part to keep this country going straight.
Look back at the voting right and civil rights movements – the college campus’ were alive,active and involved.
Now, too many are “waiting” for someone else to do it.

Med. facility has been preparing for Bergdahl’s arrival since he was taken hostage. Still has a long, gradual re-integration process. Former hostage notes having to be retaught control over his life—–regaining the ability to decide when to eat, sleep, what to wear, when to go outside etc. Also said that there is a gradual exposure to family, that his 1st mtg. with his family lasted 45 minutes, and he was in a heightened state of anxiety by the end of it. And I would expect there may be additional concerns with Bergdahl, with his writings revealing a fragile grip on reality, a sense of losing his mind, even before he went missing. (and also revealed that spelling was not included in his home school teachings, if I may). Also news to me that he first enlisted in the Coast Guard but was “let go” after 6 weeks of training, not qualified. I wish him well; no one did him any favors in accepting his enlistment in the first place, never should have found himself in the military in Afghanistan.
He can expect some crazies hanging around with their oversized guns waiting to unload on innocent people; rearing from the chaos the repukes created with hate mongering for this family based on “their” lies.
He can expect to meet a lot of angry GOP card members, some in the militia, with or without their Halloween costumes. He might even meet listeners of Sean Hanniny, Boss Limbaugh, and their cohorts. I simply wish that he doesn’t meet any of those NRA adepts that eat, sleep, walk with multiple firearms.

Not silly. I thought the same thing. Perhaps Bowe Bergdahl has already touched down. Military announcements of arrivals and departures are sometimes strategy and deliberately misleading.
This is the reason why the details of the trade to bring Sgt Bergdahl were not disclosed…even in situations of national security, the MSM (and by their admission, some members of Congress) cannot hold water.
To me, this zeal to be the first to break the news is more disturbing than the NSA surveillance that so many are up in arms about.
I think much of the manufactured furor on these fake scandals and rush to spread lies id to allow the gop/msm to set the preordained anti-PBO narrative BEFORE the truth of situation can be sorted out. This allows for the brainwashing of the public, with no push back (wh o would argue against the mob without actual info?). Since the msm refuses to punish reporters or pundits who erroneously attack PBO, we are stuck with the current media cesspool.
and that Cindy is what pisses me off. There should be a way to hold the people who incite these types of violence responsible.
Yes, thanks to W and Rumsfeld’s suspension of any requirements to join the military just so they could have the bodies to fill the fields, Bergdahl was really placed where he should never have been. I hope he can find some sense of peace some day but I fear for his survival.
Dotster, I can only imagine how excruciating this must be for his parents and how unimaginably hard the re-integration process must be for Bergdalh himself. It will be a long time before this young man is functional and will take all the strength and love his family can give. I hope when he is finally home, he’s given round-the-clock protection.
Jackiegrumbacher, this is my prayer and meditational moments that wisdom will continue to be two companions within PBO and Sec. Hagel and the entire team’s space during this very serious situation. May his parents be surrounded with the grace to keep them peaceful of whatever and wherever this plan will take place. PBO thinks and listens and ask for wisdom. He does not give in to things that will put the American people and our military men and women in danger. He is not the Almighty Force, but I know he is working as hard as possible to make this a transition as safe as possible. My loving prayers and thoughts for all involved to be people and instruments of goodness. Seeing all FLOTUS’ tweets re. healthy eating questions/answers made me think of this——my teacher daughter is tutoring in a great free summer program for her students at her h.s. in Indy—–teachers are available in all subjects—1/2 day–and breakfast and lunch are served, paid for by grant money. She said the meals are nutritious and delicious and encouraging to see the kids loving their broccoli and raisins and apples and bananas and veggie tray etc. along with their turkey wraps and roast beef sandwiches on whole grain. Also we laugh about her baby who is beginning solid foods—— now there are organic options in every veg. and fruit known to man—–and she gobbles everything down, has not refused one thing yet, even the kale mixture, a good little eater, that adorable little girl. She is certainly getting used to a big variety of tastes from the get go——way beyond the peas, beans and carrots of yore.

The attack on the Haqqani Taliban leadership left me thinking. Remember how we were informed that if the details of the Bergdahl swap were leaked prematurely, the deal was off and possibly Bergdahl would be killed?
I have a suspicion, based upon no knowledge, but just putting some pieces together.
Some suggested at the time that the no leaking condition was put in place due to some internal battles within the Haqqani Taliban. Is it possible that more than just Bergdahl was involved in the swap. Like maybe the location of the leaders that were just hit? There have been a lot of rumors about the Taliban negotiating with the Afghan government. Perhaps some of the Haqqani leadership opposed that idea and other members thought they needed to be gotten rid of w/o the blood being on their hands.
So for 4 minor Taliban and one who appears to no longer have full mental faculties, we got Bergdahl and some of the real hard core leaders.
Just a thought, and definitely not something that the government can let be known, not even to Congress. Maybe sometime in the future, the whole machinations behind the swap will come out.
We don’t know japa. One thing is for sure though: there WAS a planning of the attack on the Haqqani network. I’m certain of it. Those terrorists were PLAYED. 5 Talibans released… but THEY were killed. 10 of them.
I’m not following the stupid pundits. Have they connected the dots ?? The releasing of 5 Talibans is a FRACTION of the story. We may never know the whole thing, but AT LEAST, it’s pretty evident that there was more to it. I wish the pundits gain more respect for the President and his team. I know… wishful thinking.
