What a perfect reflection on AF1….

What I find the most laughable is the idea that an Administration which is noted for crossing all Ts and dotting all I’s would initiate talks to free Sgt. Bergdahl in contravention of law. Because you know, Obama doesn’t have an army of lawyers to make sure everything is done according to law.

What I find laughable is that most of these fools were for Sgt Berdahl before they were against him (2009news). Black president syndrome. It is good to hear his parents do not own a television. I hope they enjoy his homecoming and enjoy the peace they deserve now he is back.

You just have to not care that the GOP are so stupid. It is so painful to listen to their crap and even more painful to think about how many folks believe them.

yardarm756, we know that the right wing haters makes no sense at all. Vacations for GW Bush and his family is three times more then Obama and his family, but if you listen to the right wing haters that is not true.

Oh my – arrived just in time to see my President safely off to Poland. But I’ve been proud of him all day! 🙂 Superior coverage of everything on TOD – thanks to Nerdy and Chips! 🙂

      No truer Tweet this evening.

If We Only had a Factually based News Media. GOP has their Mega Loud Media Chamber and the MSM pretends that every issue is a 50/50 and they make sure that the Rightie side is overly represented.

      Hence the Canundrum

This overseas trip promises to be remarkable and I can hardly wait to see the coverage and photos here on TOD.

As for the noise surrounding the POW trade, it is part of the endless futile effort to thwart PBO in anything and everything. We have no way to stop the hatefilled stream since the other side owns the microphones and most of both political parties.
I accept that cable news will not cover the news fairly.

What drives me crazy is when on the rare occasions of Democrats holding the spotlight they waste the chance to tell our winning story and message. Instead, prominent Dems sabotage PBO (see pregnancy announcement on day of ACA enrollment success.)
Or “fixing obamacare.” Or Alison Grimes ad today.

    SMH. http://www.timesofisrael.com/israel-denounces-us-for-accepting-abbass-hamas-backed-government/

In a decision approved at a special meeting of the Ministerial Committee for National Security Affairs, Netanyahu and eight top ministers said they would not deal with the new government and would form a team to “examine courses of action” in light of the new Palestinian unity government.

Abbas swore in the ministers Monday afternoon after Gaza’s Hamas rulers and Abbas’s Fatah resolved a last-minute disagreement over a key government ministry.

He hailed the “end” of Palestinian division, saying: “Today, with the formation of a national consensus government, we announce the end of a Palestinian division that has greatly damaged our national case.”

Abbas has pledged that the new administration will abide by the principles laid down by the Middle East peace Quartet that call for recognizing Israel, rejecting violence and abiding by all existing agreements, though Hamas has yet to ratify those conditions.

Road trip, Yeah! Bags are packed and we are on our way.
Godspeed PBO and all who travel with him.

If you haven’t watched John Oliver on net neutrality – do. The ability of the internet to get the truth out could be lost if the cable companies can buy the internet.

(A little Oz story in there as well)

This week will be amazing, and most of it will happen as we on the west coast are fast asleep, LOL.

My car is in the shop now, so I’m riding the bus every day. It’s been an illuminating experience (for the good!) — more people in my area should give it a try.

The buses in Ventura County CA are all powered by natural gas, so no exhaust whatsoever. All have bike racks in front, and it’s fun to watch the young men get their bikes on and off the bus (for the young women too). Bus fare to Ventura is $1.25 ($2.50 for a 50-mile round trip for me — which is less than you would spend on gas since gas is over $4 a gallon here) on buses with plush velour seating (in great condition — either new, hardly used, or well maintained), electrical outlets in every row except the very front and wi-fi on all buses).

The reason I mention this is that today I noticed that the population sign for Oxnard said: elevation 62 feet.

Climate change is here now, and if it continues apace, the fertile Oxnard agricultural plain (which is the nation’s strawberry capital, and makes tons of money by exporting the showiest and most perfect fruit to Japan — produced year-round) may be in serious trouble.

MSM likes to report on “what-if” situations along the east and gulf coasts, but California is in jeopardy too.

So here I am, attempting to catch up.

Check out this post from Chips in yesterday’s Early Bird Chat thread, which made me howl.

“I’m doing up the week ahead schedule for R&S, 99ts, and Sunday has ‘no public events scheduled’ – I laugh now when I see that. Last week he turned up in Afghanistan, heaven knows what he’ll do today. Hopefully golf, but knowing him, he’ll probably bring peace to the Middle East by lunchtime.”

Yeah right because Bush read “My Pet Goat” and look where it got us…..first of all PBO does not have to read a “book” more than once to get the point……2nd of all he does need to read your recommendations because he already knows more than the author who was never president of the united states…..
