Does England have a team combined of team players like ManU and Chelsea?

Did Henry Healy get lots of stuff from TOD contributors? I have always wondered what the video was from Chips that is highlighted at the House belonging to President Obamas ancestors. Any chance it could be posted here? 🙂

CarolMae, I’m not exactly sure, but I think this is it:

I just shipped off a box of newspapers, magazines, t shirt, and pins today. I also did my “not one more” post cards and mailed them out. I see The Barack Obama Plaza opened yesterday. I hope cousin Henry sends us pictures.

Oh that’s wonderful. He was happy to get tweet of a photo of my dogs by an Obama/Biden 2012 election yard sign up at the time. He will be over the moon happy with what you sent. Wasn’t it hard to part with?
I sent out my ..#NotOneMore postcards too. One from me and one from Hubby. This must make a difference. Especially with the loonies hanging around stores.

On Guantanamo transfers and Uruguay, I just checked and it involves 6 detainees that Uruguay has offered to receive.
Chuck Hagel on Tuesday promised a speedy decision on the 6 men.
Plus 5 detainees released to Qatar in the deal made today.
Keep it up Secretary Hagel and President Obama. The American people surely have your backs on this one.

Don’t get me started on Gitmo, Gitmo would have been closed already if some of the Democrats would have stood strong with President Obama. But as usual they took it on the chin as soon as the Republicans started making noises about closing it up.

Remember how Harry Reid led the charge (along with many Republicans) saying “not in my backyard” when the Obama team found that empty prison to transfer the prisoners? I think the prison is still empty. Lost jobs. Lost opportunity.

Don and Theo, I share your frustration. That is why 11 releases now are such a bright spot for me.

I put on CNN after I saw the news of the release—msnbc was not yet covering it——and I thought they did an exemplary job. I didn’t hear every word, but they were excited about this release, reported all the news straight forward as it was coming in, and the only thing I heard Dana Bash say about the timing was wondering if PBO’s recent surprise trip there effected the release, in a positive way.

And of course McCain has already blasted out his fury at the exchange, the release of the Guantanamo detainees. Biz as usual.

Oh, Dotster if I misjudged Dana, i apologize. No mistake on McBitters remarks, however.

I can only imagine how hideous it must be to be Dana Bash or John McCain.
Ugly negativity is all they have left.

Our beautiful positive strong capable President can run right over them whenever he feels like doing so. Not by being mean, but by doing the loving and honorable thing. “No soldier left behind.” That is how you support the troops.

      • May 31, 2014 at 3:48 pm

Now how did Ann Coulter/Dana Bash take your pick, get in here? ? ? I am not letting pundits ruin my attitude for now. It sometimes overcomes me. 😉

Being that I did not hear John McCain’s comment; I do concur with DF and Vicki.

“Not by being mean, but by doing the loving and honorable thing. “No soldier left behind.” That is how you support the troops.”

Vicki, wouldn’t it be so nice if we lived in a world where the likes of John McCain would allow his heart to be full of graciousness that POB was able to bring a son home to his family. Never did PBO give up nor the others who worked with him to bring those parents to this day.

I cringe when I see so much hatefulness and ignorance coming out of people when they can sit quietly and give thanks that a home or parents hearts were overjoyed to hear the call from the president today. One would think that being an open vessel of kindness, problem solving alongside of the CIC to bring a son home would be just a beautiful thing to be a part of a nation who got that done.

I often pray to God to help me daily to display an intelligence of sweetness rather than arrogance so that my heart will joyfully be ready to enter into a walk with Courage, one of my companions for the day. Then I can hopefully be able to joyful share in my speaking a word to my world that I travel in daily. Then.” I Surely Won’t Take Nothing for My Journey Now.” (double negative, but in songs, you use a different license to get to the heart of the matter in order to feed the beautiful spiritual souls within.)

I wonder how John McCain takes stock of his daily journey. I do not hate him, but I have a lack of respect for him when he does not take time to consider the generous actions of POB towards him. After all, it was John McCain who unleashed onto this nation the hateful vessel for his choice of a running mate in 2008. Our actions have consequence, and sometimes those consequences can open up a stinking mess that never leaves. Just my thoughts.HZ

Graduating high school senior Nicolas Schott rose to speak about the important of honoring military families at his own commencement ceremony in Goose Creek, South Carolina this week. But he had no idea his father, U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Jamie Schott, had returned from overseas and was watching him from the side of the stage.

“I had no idea,” Nicolas Schott said after the surprise. “They kept it so much a secret from me. I was just so nervous about my speech, I didn’t even think about it.”

IMHO the gun nuts showing up at high profile places, especially Chain stores or franchises will do more for our cause of regulating guns. The rent and insurance rates should go up on these places. If I owned the property it would. It’s what my land man father-in-law would have done.

Aw LL, you lovely person!! What a very nice surprise on my return from Danny duties, thank you!!!!

Gulp: Looks like one of the Italians, Riccardo Montolivo, has broken his ankle and will miss the World Cup. Nightmare.

Courage and Hardwork were in this journey. May the parents, family, friends and a grateful nation lift up Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl with a grateful voice for his safety and return home. {{{{{{{{{{{{{{ Thank you, Mr. President and Team}}}}}}}}}}}}}}HZ
