LP, this is sweet and very smart of Kerry. Either the House acknowledges its select committee is a shame or Loony Issa is made to back down. Let the whole charade play out in public. Kerry’s made clear he has nothing to hide, he’s just not doing it twice.

“This whole sideshow has turned into an epic circus before the Special Committee has even formally been seated. I agree with Rep. Cummings. Boehner has lost all control of Issa, who is now acting on his own. The whole let’s get Obama with Benghazi plan is melting into complete chaos and dysfunction.

The great Benghazi investigation is a total joke, as Boehner, Issa, and company are getting what they deserve for trying to exploit the deaths of four Americans for partisan political gain.”

Go Spurs Go, is for the San Antonio NBA team. They’re in the Western Conference playoffs against our team, the OKC Thunder, and we’re down two games. As much as the President loves basketball, I’m not surprised he caught that omission!

Had been dreaming of Black&White shakes and hamburgers ever since the above outing. Got a B&W shake yesterday; and just polished off a freshly ground burger (I have a thing about ground and composite meat products, so I go to a butcher that grinds my steak or roast while I watch)

LP, you know I honestly don’t think McConnell ever took the time to read the ACA and he certainly doesn’t understand it. He’s got nothing and he’s making it very obvious.

      • May 23, 2014 at 7:46 pm

I am bit more cynical on this one, Jackie. I think Mcturtle knows exactly what the law does, and is counting on uniformed voters (with the help of millions in misinformation adds) and the press to not corner him. My hope is the local reporters in the commonwealth will call him on his B.S. as I am sure ALG will! …..I don’t even bother w/ national media……all they care about is ALG running away from President Obama themes.

A new ending to the classic movie; “It’s a Wonderful Life”

Old Version: Look, Daddy. Teacher says; every time a bell rings an angel gets his wings.

New Version: O NO, HERE WE GO AGAIN DADDY!

Every time Mitch McConnel lies; with his coffin load of BS on his back, he gets closer to his demise.

Putin on Obama: ‘Who Made Him a Judge?’

When asked by a moderator about President Obama’s accusations that the Kremlin was lying when it claims it is not meddling in Ukraine, President Putin brushed aside the very notion with sarcasm.

“Who made him a judge?” he bristled, though he quickly added that he thinks Obama has a better opinion of him than was suggested.

“Have you ever seen the rain? Comin’ down a sunny day?” I have to say: Lots of times because I’m an old desert rat from AZ. I have seen the rain come down one side of the street but not another while the sun shined on. That’s part of desert living. Just saying…

        Why bring them at all.

We the people have to boycott these establishments that allows this dangerous episode to play out. It’s just a matter of time before an innocent life is gunned down because the individual chose to speak up.

Innocent life: Why are you here with guns, you’re frightening the children?

        Gun: Boom!

        Killer: I stood my ground.

      • May 23, 2014 at 6:29 pm

Well, there is some gallows humor involved:

We have a homeless center near here to where we direct folks to get cleaned up. I handed this gentleman the flyer and he informed me “I’m not homeless, I’m a hostage”. And then asked if he could get his tax refund here.

Things they never tell you in grad school.

I love your stories! I have a relative who has been a librarian at a central urban library for years. Some of the stories he has told made me accuse him of big fat lies more than once. Since I have ‘known’ you, LL I have begged his forgiveness! You two should write a book!

This is crazy. Natalie Tennant (D), senatorial candidate in W. VA running for Jay Rockefeller’s seat has come out seeking Eric Shinseki’s resignation.
Michelle Nunn (D) Georgia candidate did the same.

I guess these women think running away from PBO will help them win.

They will lose if they keep it up – they could start rebutting the crazies – like Cruz and his 1st amendment b.s. – why they attack their own is beyond all understanding.

If they want him to resign than they better make sure they have the facts straight or it’s nothing more than a kneejerk reaction. None of them know the facts. None of them have talked to the President or anyone involved in the investigation. They’re blowing smoke to impress the people who won’t vote for them no matter what they say.

This is the same failed strategy Blue Dogs Democrats used in 2010. Run away from The President and watch their caucus get wiped out.

Clinging to the “former” President Clinton is no shoe in; ask his daughter’s mother-in-law.

I’ll take my chances with some one who knows how to fire them up and is ready to go; my main man, President Barack H. Obama.

        You Betcha!

          May 23, 2014 at 7:41 pm

She should be clinging to a popular Democratic governor who’s one of the biggest advocate for Obamacare. Steve Beshear. Her fellow citizens are signing up in droves and she can’t figure that out? Something tells me Mitch is going to steal Obamacare right out from under her. I think we’ve seen signs of it here and there.
