Happy Weekend!
Good morning all
Beautiful catch up
Since we were both up all night edt of course, the spot was fair game!
Morning vetivera24, moooooorning everyone!
Morning Chips. Lovely way to end a busy week.
Chips Chica, you have no compassion! You took off and left me leaning against the post in the last thread, even though you know I’m feeling a bit more bleary-eyed than normal. /smh/ No compassion
Congrats, Almab! Nice sprint to the ribbon.
Thanks. It is my last sprint. I’m off to bed!
🙂 Enjoy your rest and ‘Sweet Dreams’!
Left a reply/comment to you at the end of the last thread VC. Have a good day and please try and rest if you can.
I’m okay, Roberta; thanks. I can’t sleep in the day (I rise and fall with the light and darkness) so I’m planning to go to bed early tonight for sure.
Thank you for this tremendous R & S, Chips!
This is sweet of POTUS to do:
A pleasure, thank you Meta!
Good Morning Everybody.
Wonderful R & S Chips. What a week. I still have to go back and read some of the posts. Have a great day everyone.

Meanie. I was happy for a minute.
Good for him. Enjoy and relax!!!!!
I’ll be in Gainesville area Tuesday and on into Fairfax Wednesday. Prayers for safe travel appreciated. Leaving in couple hours…….meeting up with hiker hubby for next three days……put him back on the trail in the Shenandoah, then go on with my visiting of friends in northern VA.
Safe travels and enjoy your trip tnmtngirl! 🙂
It will be lovely, it’s a beautiful time of year! Enjoy the scenery!
Good morning Ms. Chips!
Talking to myself again on the last post.
It is such a beautiful day here in NYC! Too bad I have so much paperwork to do inside.
Hopefully, I will get out before the sun goes down.
I had so much fun LOL at those fool Teabaggers…..all TEN of them!
They have passed pathetic now.
Our FLOTUS’ speech sealed their fate permanently. She touched me and I could relate to every single word. I experienced the exact same thing growing up down south. My parents gave us no other options but go to a segregated school. As a young girl there were so many emotions to deal with that people really do not know what goes on inside your heart and head. Looking back, I have no regrets. It helped to shape, mold me to this confident woman that I am today. I thank God Barack met Michelle…….they were just what each other needed to become whole.
I married a man with the same characters and he appreciated a no none sense, confident, got-your-back-woman. He helped me to embrace my childhood struggles, hold my head up and stick my chest out when painful flashbacks caused anger and regret to rise up inside. My faiths is on a great level!
As sad as we will all be when this unique First Family leaves office, I welcome the days that they will share together and hopefully reflect upon what a powerful impact they have made on so many of our lives.
Back to the paperwork…..
Thank you for what you said LDS.
Good morning AB.
You are most welcome. Have a beautiful blessed day!
You too. 🙂
Oh, so here we are, all caught up!!
Going on the road to get some food for the weekend (it’s along weekend here) – BBL
See ya later VeeeeeeeeeCeeeeeee!
Don’t forget to get some good snax for us, too!
Just hope she doesn’t bring back “pretzel rods” (remember those?) for us … stole a bunch of my great grandson’s and now I think I have a couple burned holes in my lip from the salt. Okay, it was a big bunch! Apparently, they’re addictive. That will teach me: Thou Shalt Not Steal.
Mornin’.
STEALING? Well, well, well. I hope you have been absolved! Poor kid!
(I got him a new bag, still unopened. Fingers crossed.)
PRETZEL RODS ARE THE BEST!
O’sister!
Drat! I never checked before I left and I’m not usually a snack buyer. Sorry, Meta. Maybe next time. In fact, I’ll put in on the list right now..

Go Hull City!!!!!
Hey you, did you see the real Premier League table – United third, Cheslea 9th 😎
http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2014/05/11/upshot/up-soccer-table.html?partner=rss&emc=rss&smid=tw-nytimes&_r=0
Oh God. 😆
That reminds me of a conversation I had with a former coworker. She was bemoaning all the foreign players in the NBA, saying that they would then go home better and play against us in the Olympics, so we shouldn’t allow it.
OMG, Hull scored!!!!!
Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And DCPlod weeps.
I just checked to see if she was tweeting – she isn’t. Poor thing!
Just checked as well. She’s at a secure, undisclosed location.
😆 She’s back !!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
Oh, the poor Gooners.
shouldn’t allow what, olympics or all the furriners?
also. too. go gunners.
The furriners.
Hull City!!!
So far, they’re going to Hull and back 😎
Hey, I’m quite happy to become VERY anti-foreign-players-in-the-Premier-League if it means United finish third. 😎
Xenophobe!
Of course, under my new rules there will exemptions for De Gea, Van Persie, Mata, Evra, Valencia and Hernandez.
Hypocritical xenophobe!!!
And almost 3-0!!!
Heh, I believe teabaggers are one hand short at DC for their march.
Last time a team came back from 2-0 down to win FA Cup ……. 1966.
I was wondering.
BTW, can I say how much I love that I can watch this on BT Sport rather than on, ugh, Fox.
LOL.
Chris Waddle
BBC Radio 5 live
“Hull have started very well, passing the ball around with lots of movement and options. But my worry is that they have no pace in the side.”
GOAL
Arsenal 0-1 Hull – James Chester
Fucking pundwits get it wrong everywhere and everything
Sorry if already posted. POTUS does sound like he’s losing his voice.
If he’s out playing golf this morning, POTUS is just fine.
2-0!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Go Hull.
your bandwagonning is a marvel of our latter days.
innate skillset.
😆 😆 😆
Ooooops:
LOL.
Are you back supporting Arsenal now?
see below.
gunnite.
🙂 Nite Bandwagoner!
Brit in Bethesda: Hull want this. Arsenal thought they just had to turn up and collect the trophy. Arsenal decorate the bus, Hull about to park it.
Damn, what a strike.
This could finish up 26-24.
Oooo, a rugby match.
Speaking of which, I was watching Newcastle v. Leicester yesterday. Bastards spent half the match fighting!
And they still call it the gentleman’s game 🙄
One of them got red carded for clocking an opponent on the face. Yellow cards all over the place.
go gunners/hull.
gunnite.
Hello Sunny, where is Bo?
Side by side

There’s Bo. Hi Bo.
Hey, it’s my second anniversary on Twitter!
Jan 20th 1941, FDR driving and walking with some help before his 3rd swearing in….In color.
Hello TOD. Happy Saturday To All.
Great assemble of News. Great Week In TOD round-up.
Congrats to all the Gold medalists 5 posts down starting with this post.
Good morning everyone, and thank you Nena for this wonderful video! So good to see that era in color, as I know well we did LIVE in color!
Watching FDR I had a couple of thoughts…..what courage it took for him to walk that distance, and to stand for all the official ceremonies and his speech. Also…..did he have any idea what he faced in less than a year! So glad he was president during those hard years.
I’ll never forget the day FDR died. I was in a kindergarten class in Oklahoma City. (My father was stationed at Will Rogers Army/Air Base) My teacher got the word and burst into tears, then she told us. A powerful impact all these years later.
I like the San Antonio Mayor, he was recently at an event with FLOTUS talking about education.
Nerdy’s new post!
