Good evening all you beautiful people. Long time, no post. I still visit almost daily but am either sneaking a peak at work, where I can’t post, or it’s for a quick minute on my way out the door in the morning, or so late at night that I fall asleep before catching up.
I’m home for my favorite comedy show of the year with the master entertainer and all around great guy, President Obama, and there’s no other company I’d rather keep for the occasion.
I’m out of the shadows to give a big shout out on the 25mil milestone. No other news outlet comes close at providing info, insight, humor and facts the way you all do here at TOD. I know I’ve sent many here and they all have thanked me for it. The last person was a waitress at a Philippino restaurant who was so excited to see pictures of the President in her country. She had no idea he was even out of the country. She took this website address and said she couldn’t wait to visit when she got home.
So again a big congrats to a wonderful ‘newsblog’ community. And an especially big thanks to Chips for not shutting the doors, but allowing others to help her carry us through.

I think our First Couple takes it in stride – they see it as part of their job, so they go along. I would say that fewer than 1/4 the people there actually outright hate them, the rest have a combination of resentment/admiration/fascination and there are many who actually like the First Couple (the non-media folks). It appears to me that the majority of people (outside the media) want to be there BECAUSE PBO/FLOTUS are there. PBO has become the star of this event, no two ways about it.
Let’s check back after 2016…the interest in this event will drop sharply….
Back in a while, kind of glad we don’t have to watch them eat, some of them prolly face down in the plate (free food) ! An hour is a looooonngngngng time.. ❤
These media people even bore themselves. This is why they have to have actors, athletes, and the First Couple there to liven up what would be another boring dinner with cold, rubber chicken or beef.
While waiting for the entrance of the POTUS & FLOTUS (well worth the wait…FLOTUS is breathtaking and her escort is looking mighty delicious as well) I chopped about a ton of veggies to go in the wheatberry salad I’m making.

According to Information Resistance, yesterday’s provocations in Odesa, which caused numerous casualties, were the result of an operation conducted and coordinated by Russia.
From the beginning of March until the end of April 2014, we noted the arrival of Russian Armed Forces units and those of the Main Intelligence Directorate [GRU of the General Staff of Russian Armed Forces], as well as representatives of Russian Cossacks and ultranationalist organizations on the territory of Transnistria.
Since mid-April, our sources in the Republic of Moldova recorded the arrival of Russian groups with young athletic men in Chisinau, departing further into the territory of Transnistria. They were accompanied by Russian FSB operatives.

However, the beginning of the active phase of the ATO in Sloviansk made Russian leadership force events in southern Ukraine, in order to compel Ukrainian security forces to urgently deploy resources and means from Donbas. We observed the tragic result of this monstrous provocation yesterday in Odesa.”
