    GM Chips and TOD friends.

  3. April 18, 2014 at 1:08 pm

So Chips, how quickly did you block the creature with 100 followers who Tweeted us the picture of Jimmy Fallon’s “joke” about Obamacare?

But what she’s really happy & excited about is that her owners have signed up for the #ACA and are now covered! πŸ™‚

So Eddie Baby Snowden “wrote” a piece for The Guardian. And this is what has ensued.

Chilling. http://www.alternet.org/thom-hartmann-how-america-killed-its-middle-class The fact that we have a President that recognizes this and wants to save us from ourselves, is amazing. Will we listen?

Allergies. Avoid them if you can.

Tell me about it…I’ve been on about every allergy med out there. Most recently, I stopped responding to Claritin-D and Allegra-D after taking them for for more than a day or two. Zyrtec was also a no-go.

Now I’m finding that Nasaqort nasal spray is the only thing that allows me to sleep at night – it completely eliminated the itching/sneezing/runny nose as well as that annoying throat/palate grunting at night due to the itching. Every now and then I will add some OTC antihistamine eyedrops to help.

Nasaqort must be altering my immune system somehow and not just superficially in my nose/sinus area. I will have to find out exactly what’s going on.

Perhaps I’ll withhold my quiet reference to {netipot}, as so many people freak out when I do. I will only say, No Side Effects. No Brain Damage. No Harmful Impact on Immune System. No Cardiac Stress. Oh, and no endless supply of $$ to pharmaceutical industry. So. That’s all I have to say about that.

Here it is again, Dr Paul Krugman.

My Very Own BEST Part of the Column:

Well, surely another factor is the lack of a comprehensive liberal media environment comparable to the closed conservative universe. If you lean right, you can swaddle yourself 24/7 in Fox News and talk radio, never hearing anything that disturbs your preconceptions. (If you were getting your β€œnews” from Fox, you were told that the hugely encouraging Rand survey was nothing but bad news for Obamacare.) If you lean left, you might watch MSNBC, but the allegedly liberal network at least tries to make a distinction between news and opinion β€” and if you watch in the morning, what you get is right-wing conspiracy theorizing more or less indistinguishable from Fox.

      Yes, Nena.
Paul K better than ever in this paragraph.

He has a new job. He left Princeton to teach at the City University of NY. Have to wonder if he will be leaving the RW NY Times as well.

POTUS will be going to Washington State were the mudslide occurred and 31 people died. He will go there before he head on his trip overseas.

I am looking for a theory that explains the recent happenings. Counting back from yesterday.

The Clinton Camp steps on Obamacare news.
Allison Grimes declines POTUS’ campaign help. Says she is covered by The President who in her view is named Bill Clinton.
Jim Messina and Jennifer Granholm declare they are sitting out 2014 and advising their donors to do the same. (Walked this back in a few days after the uproar reached them.)

I wonder if The Clintons are intentionally alienating the Obama Coalition. Why??
Or, is it possible Hillary has decided not to run and is taking pitiful revenge as best she can?

I don’t have a problem with Grimes’ decision. She has a decent chance of winning and, from a political sense, it is probably best if PBO isn’t directly campaigning for her. Knocking out McConnell is worth it.

I’m not so sure about her decent chance of winning. Yesterday McConnell came out with an ad using Allisons “We’ll fix the ACA” strategy.

The “Duck Dynasty” clan isn’t the draw it used to be. Not even in the Bible Belt.

Promoters announced last month that members of the Robertson family would appear at a show titled “Faith, Family & Ducks” at an 11,000-seat arena in Springfield, Mo.

For $37, $50 or $58, fans could enjoy live music and hear the bayou millionaires talk about “living the American dream” while staying true to their “family values and modest lifestyle.”

But according to local media reports, the April 27 event has been canceled due to low ticket sales.

This is a very good trend.
In NYC a fast food cafeteria coffee type establishment had a full page ad announcing hiring. “Pret a Manger” is the name of the company.
The first item mentioned was that the starting pay was 10.10 an hour and all employees will get a free meal, sick days, vacation days, and free parties. Yes parties. Sounds crazy to me, too.

Hi, Happy Good Friday to Christians and a good Friday if you’re not. πŸ™‚ I see the stars are back with VC at the top! Don’t have any idea, well a little, about what’s going on. I don’t know why VC is Wolfie though. Do you watch Wolf Blitzer? πŸ˜‰ Is it because you live in the North or is VC a Wolf that can type like Danny and my Bear and all the friends on the internet who have pics of their pets typing? πŸ™‚

My eye is improving! That’s the good news, the bad; I’m now on my third miserable reaction to Lisinopril and this one is the worst. 😦 When I checked my spelling of Lisinopril on my new to me laptop I see that it is everything but why the doctor told me he prescribed it. No wonder I’m dizzier than a Bachman. Thought I was on it because of high blood pressure. I usually read what fda.gov says about a medicine but I was not up to reading two days before eye surgery. 😦
Hope everyone and their loved ones are well. My Doc doesn’t have the best bedside manners anymore. :\ I have no idea why not. πŸ˜‰
At least we know some of the 100 tiny crocuses we planted in the lawn last fall are peeking through. Others are just blooming through the snow. It should be a lot of light blue in among the brown and green grass. I guess I’m glad Bob hasn’t tweeted me to tell me Putin has gone completely insane or at least others are around him to stop him. bye. . .
