Thanks Nerdy for your daily “ACA” round-up. These are all REAL people, not fake plants who run to the GOP media with easily debunked stories! Also, if it’s not too much could you post HOPE44’s comment on her ACA-Counselor experiences from the last thread? 🙂 🙂

Thanks, NW, for keeping the good news coming. The next week is going to be massive crunch time for a lot of people and the ObamaCare navigators are going to be run ragged. Praying that as many people as possible get under the wire. And then Dems had better start shouting from the rooftops–Yes We can and Yes We Did!!!!

Not surprisingly, Jimmy Carter is being airlifted and plopped down into Morning Joe tomorrow a.m. hmmmm, he must have said something critical about PBO. Why, yes he did. That’s the ticket—–an immediate appearance. Bet the arrangements were made within seconds of his recent comments. MSM——so predictable and tiresome and far away from objectivity.

This was predicable. This is cables MO. If it ain’t controversial to the WH or the President it isn’t worth pontificating about on cable. If only this guys ratings would tank enough to get him off that station. One can only dream…..

I would take it a step further to say that ratings do not appear to matter as long as the bulk of the show is spent attacking/criticizing the President in some way. Most recent example: MTP with David Gregory. Also, Piers Morgan got fired from CNN once he started fighting with the Zimmermans and was vocal against the NRA and in support of gun control. When he was on his “are-you-disappointed on Obama” shtick and giving GZ a platform, there was no move on the part of CNN to fire him – even if his ratings were rock bottom at the time.

Its true…Democrats face an uphill battle in 2014 when it comes to Congressional races. There are 3 reasons for this:
    1.Gerrymandered Republican House districts,
2.Almost all of the contested Senate races are in red states, and
3.The Obama coalition hasn’t demonstrated that they will turn out for midterms the way the teapublicans do.
The one and ONLY thing that will make a difference this time around is if we change the trajectory of #3 above by getting people out to vote.

and how do we rally the Obama Coalition to vote in the midterms….

Who or what will motivate folks to get out to vote…to stand in long lines if necessary to vote…

There needs to be a GET Out The Vote Coalition…similar to Moral Monday Marchers….

a grass roots effort to get folks to the polls…this should be a target for the DNC…

“Former prime minister Yevhen Marchuk is proposing that Mustafa Dzhemilev, leader of the Crimean Tatars, be nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize, reports the publication Den. Marchuk shared his views during his presentation “Lessons for Ukraine” at the conference “Challenges of the times: an expert opinion,” held at the Kyiv International Institute of Management on March 23.

“Yesterday I proposed that we nominate Mustafa Dzhemilev for the Nobel Peace prize. That would be just. The reasons are numerous. He is a former prisoner of Stalin’s camps and a representative of the Crimean Tatar nation, who firmly maintains his position on the preservation of Ukraine’s sovereignty and who is actively seeking options for a peaceful settlement of the conflict in Crimea,” Marchuk concluded.”

    That’s a very fine nomination!

    They aren’t messing around ….

“The draft law on public procurement will be considered during the extraordinary meeting of the Government, according to an announcement by Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk before a cabinet meeting on Sunday.

“This is the most corrupt sphere of Ukrainian state authority, which siphoned off up to [UAH] 300bn a year, according to various estimates. This represents the total turnover of public procurement,” stressed the Prime Minister.

He emphasized that it is the task of the Government to adopt this draft law, which must comply with the European standards. According to Yatsenyuk, all purchases must be presented online, all companies transparent, all tenders must be held exclusively upon advanced notice, all entities must be eligible to participate in the tender.

In addition, he emphasized the need to ensure public access to tender information. “The whole country should know who, on what grounds, for what purpose, and on what terms a particular tender was won or lost,” said the head of the Government.”
