At almost 2pm in my world I have just realized the laundry is waiting – and then I remember when my Mom used to boil up the sheets in a copper kettle – and I thank the person who invented the automatic washing machine š
I also stretched myself to turn on the dishwasher – which should have been finished a few hours ago.
Good 99ts, chores can wait til morning.
Oh no – tomorrow I have to go out – which was why I needed to do the laundry today – but I do like being retired – I’ll sort something out in a day or two š

First of all, only PUMAs and MSM want another round of the Clintons in 2017. The world is moving too fast to have retread ideas at the forefront.
President Obama is both strategic and innovative. IMO (not telling him what he should do, of course), he would be bored stiff on SCOTUS. Too leisurely, not a big enough canvas. Definitely wouldn’t utilize his greatest skills.
I think President Obama will strive to make a difference in the underserved and neglected areas of DC, which has been without a champion since DC became the capitol. He can get the ball rolling and then pass the torch to the young progressive leaders who live in the opposite corner of DC from Georgetown and Chevy Chase MD.
After Sasha has decided on her college location, Barack and Michelle will be empty-nesters who will be eager to get involved in community organizing on a national and global level.
BTW, did I mention I hate PUMAs? LOL.
