      Hi Chipsticks,

      Congratulations on 1st – wtg!

I had to leave out after my brief greeting to everyone. Very busy day, plans were to relax; derailed by work.

Just wanted to say; so sorry to hear about your mom’s fall. I see that she is back home, which is very good. I will definitely add her to my prayer list. I pray that she will have a speedy recovery. Head injuries can be tricky so I know you will give her a watchful eye. Take good care of yourself, I see you have been working hard, and Danny Boy is in overtime with destruction of flower pots : (
my early morning talks with him didn’t help : (

      Enjoy the evening!

      • February 17, 2014 at 7:07 pm

Oh Cindy, thank you, what a beautiful message, you’re just so kind. My mother is recovering well, but those flower pots will never be the same again, and Danny has just shredded his beloved cushion that he slept with/on. So, as long as my mother is doing better than the flower pots and cushion, I’m happy! Thank you again Cindy.

Chips – I had to give up trying to catch up on anything before yesterday evening’s posts, so I completely missed the news about your mom. I’m glad to hear that she’s recovering – best wishes to her (and good luck with the flower pots!).

Can someone tell me why #GhettoJeopardy is the top trending hashtag on Twitter?

    • 37 hopefruit2
      February 17, 2014 at 7:16 pm

I have no clue why. It really shouldn’t be the top trend – given the frequency of the tweets with that hashtag. Sometimes Twitter leaves me scratching my head with how certain hashtags are manipulated to trend more than others even though they are tweeted less.

Ok everyone, the missus has an interview with another hospice agency, one even more well established and which pays more than her current gig. So, sacrifice cereals, wine, and precious metals to the god(s) of your choice wishing for a good outcome.

    Good evening TOD community,

I don’t know if anyone had the opportunity to watch Rev. Al. today. He played a clip from Trayvon’s murderer’s interview with Cuomo, the murderer had the audacity to blame President Obama and Attorney General Holder; accusing them of making him a scapegoat. The murderer has also been on some Spanish Language stations, I saw him several times on yesterday during my channel surfing. I guess he is spewing this mess to garnish favor.

So now it’s the “black men” fault that he murdered Trayvon Martin, I guess he will be suing them soon. What a A_ _ H_ _ _. Blame the black man; Dunn blamed Jordan Davis and now the murderer of Trayvon blames the President and AG of making him a scapegoat.

This is what our society is becoming; blame the black man for every wrong doing. I can kill innocent black males and I can blame the President of the United States and the Attorney General. The murderer need to be locked up and forgotten instead of parading around on TV accusing others for his crimes.

      February 17, 2014 at 8:47 pm

Why is CNN giving the murderer a platform to spout his nonsense? I don’t get what’s so interesting about him. He needs to be shunned and ostracized.

      February 17, 2014 at 9:25 pm

Cindy, this is one despicable, sick, and hate-filled man who should be in prison. To me, he is as credible as the disturbed people who go along city streets talking to themselves and shouting at the clouds. It’s the tv stations who give this sicko any airtime who are gravely at fault.

    • 45 nathkatun7
      February 18, 2014 at 2:26 am

I am so glad I do not watch CNN any more! It is totally disgusting that CNN gave a murderer of an innocent black teenager a megaphone to spew hatred against the President and the AG. But then again, this is exactly how white privilege works!

Wasn’t he the cutest little guy? I always notice that he was well loved, well cared for, always dressed well, have seen ironed creases in some of his shirt sleeves, and someone made sure he had a brand new spiffy tricycle. Even though his life was a little topsy-turvy, I think his mom and grandparents adored him—–which made all the difference.

      • February 17, 2014 at 7:55 pm

Ah, that’s so true Dotster, in every photo from then he’s gleaming, and he looks so full of joy. A confused upbringing, but somehow they combined to ensure his happiness.

Yep, the reason he can love his wife and daughters so deeply today is that he learned what love means at an early age. Unconditional love–what every child needs and deserves.

      • February 17, 2014 at 8:24 pm

He was an absolutely adorable child. He’s smiling and happy and yes, tremendously loved.

I kept seeing this very sad photo posted by various news org.s on twitter. Held off on posting it, altho I wanted to, as something didn’t ring true. As it turns out this little guy’s parents were actually a few steps in front of him. And this is not to diminish the horror that so many in Syria are experiencing—–they are living a hell, forced to flee their homes with only whatever belongings can fit in a plastic bag—-those that are still surviving, that is. But it is a little lesson about trust of news operations—-they’re not verifying—– or careful or concerned in what they blast out there—-and not everything on twitter is the honest to god truth—-duh. (lots of propaganda)

BTW, spitter Chris, just because I didn’t have enough characters left to add “Idiot” in my third tweet doesn’t mean I wasn’t thinking it. Idiot.

P.S. Instead of burping on camera while talking so fast that air gathers in your throat, take a breath, get some Rubio water, or let someone else speak.

Oh, and, I won’t be watching you again until I get tonight’s sham exercise in political discourse (as if) out of my head.

He has been singing for Hillary for the last year or two. Took a few minutes off to attack Christie – I gather he is now back to the Hillary love. Twerp.

I have tried not to watch him forever. Just checked in on the Christie matter. Tweety is now adding some dorky statement at the end of his Hillary predictions, signifying “at least at this point she’s running.” Like he has inside knowledge about anything.

Good Day my Chips and TOD family. I missed the news about your dear mother, Chips. I have been a little slow these days catching up. But I must say sometimes I think I have read everything, and then I come back and see that I missed an entire conversation.

However, my beautiful loving Chips, I am so wonderfully grateful that your lovely Mother is home and doing fine. That is scary, but she is so beautifully bless to have you at her loving side. May she get plenty of rest and loving hugs from Danny also.

Mothers are so special to us, and I know that you have spoken to lovingly about her; so I pray that she will feel that love from you in her relaxing recovery. Know that mom will be in my daily prayers and meditations. I will put up a lovely scented candle for her next to my dear mother and grandmother’s photo. Two beautiful and loves of my life. The candle fragrance is ‘Warm Vanilla Sugar.’ It is a very soft and lovely reminder of the sweet love that our mothers always found time to splash so lovingly on us as their loving daughters. Keep mom relaxed ,and please give her a Huge Hug from HZ.

    Is this for real??

Alabama holds an election for U.S. Senate in 2014. Republican Senator Jeff Sessions is running for re-election. For the first time in Alabama history, the Democrats are not running anyone for U.S. Senate. Here is a list of Democrats running in the June 2014 primary for federal and state office. There are no Democrats running for U.S. House in the 4th and 5th districts. For the 140 state legislative races, no Democrats are running in 57 races.
