I am having a quiet day of enjoying the fragrant candles that are burning in my home in celebration of being able to be grateful for the acts of love from family, a chorus of dear friends, and the loving gratefulness within my space. My joy to accept the gift of life to live, love, and enjoy great food and friends is a beautiful gift of grace from the Earth. Now I am just grateful to live more, love more, enjoy great food more, and share with friends more.
So, I sign my Valentine’s Day card with: Grateful to be in a space where pillars of happiness in my life allow me to say, I love you my family, my friends, and my TOD family. So many new and beautiful people have entered my space since the long hard working days/years of this beautiful TOD family went through to bring so much love and so many great friendships out of the election of a beautiful soul in a man who we now love and respect as our 44th POTUS. Yessss! You noticed it too? I’ve had my eyes on it since the 2008 red/black victory appearance, and now that you have forced me to say it out loud, I get quite a quiet chuckle from it every time. I’ve sometimes wondered if the ladies are consciously matching or not. I remember one Sunday when it looked like they had switched shoes, with their shoes matching each other’s outfit ‘perfectly’, while at the same time complementing the outfit of the wearer. I know, I know – it’s bizarre how the little things the O ladies do charm me/us. š š

This puts me in mind of that family picture of the Romneys when the females were all wearing the same dress, or whatever. That kind of matchy-matchy makes me think they got a bargain by buying the material in bulk. Or in this case, got the shirts ‘off the rack’ – last of the line, or something similar. There’s matching (like this), and then there is classy matching, which the O’s do unconsciously or consciously.
I don’t think I’ll ever get over FIRST thinking DonnaD4PBO whenever I see this picture of FLOTUS. š My very first, tho brief, reaction here was what was DD doing in the middle?

Lucky for you, Yardarm! I have not seen much of to the so called American heartland and most of New England. And I’ve never been to any of the U.S. territories including Puerto Rico. I’ve only been to 26 of the 50 states + DC. These are: Western states (CA, OR, WA, ID, NV, CO, AZ and UT). Southern states ( TX, GA, SC, NC, LA, TN, AL, MS and FL). Eastern states (NY, NJ, MD, PA, DE, MA, and CT +DC). And only IL and MI in the Midwest.
Hurry up and get busy. There are only two that I’ve missed that I’m sorry about. Maine and Samoa. The others can remain a mystery.
