Check out this headline I just found in our (online) newspaper. It will be in the delivered paper tomorrow. Of course, it is an AP writer. Surprised??????

I have been reading those docs for the last hour and they are riveting. It is corruption at its best. People were calling in to that Chief at the Port Authority screaming and complaining. I had to smile because one wealthy person called in and said if he didn’t get to speak with that Bill Baroni guy that he was going to the media or would call the White House. SMH!!! (Poor PBO they want him to fix everything) 🙄

Seems like a WSJ reporter is now in trouble with the boss for querying the closures – denies that he made the call mentioned in those emails.

I notice that none of the evening news talked about Christie this evening. WHY NOT? The news spent more than a month talking about the ACA website (in which no one died or suffered injury), the NSA (in which no one died or suffered injury from); they spent two whole days talking about Sunny knocking over little girl during WH festivities, but they’ve already moved on from Christie?

They will be dragged back – screaming and ranting that both sides do it – this one will not dissolve hf – Bobfr has it right.

      Hi hopefruit2,
Rev. Al just discussed how they (media) have turned this on President Obama, which is what I discussed earlier this morning after watching some of the morning jokester show with side kick mika. They want to make Christie cream President’s Obama Katrina. When they keep the focus off of Christie and put it on the President, it goes away. The cable channels are saying that President Obama is not a leader and Christie cream showed leadership by firing people and the President only allow people to retire or promote them.

As Rev. Al said; this has nothing to do with President Obama. Je Madison stated; this is a security issue, and it is not about the President. He went on to say, that he is trying (his show) his best to get people to understand that this has nothing to do with the President. I really wish the Dems would fight back on this lie. Even Axelrod sat on the jokester show and said that Christie will recover from this and that his speech passed. I just don’t understand Axelrod commending this lying piece of _____. Guiliani, cant spell his name, stated that this was just a political joke that went wrong. They never take responsibility for their actions-never.

The thing is, they -repubs- are really back on their heels with this. They know it reeaaally stinks so will do anything to throw the shiny ball to the other side. weak, weak, weak; all in a day’s work for them.

          So true Kathleen,
This is the very reason Dems should push back on this lie and not allow the repukes to place this lie on President Obama, this has nothing to do with President Obama. He didn’t put anyone in danger with petty pay back games. The repukes always feel safe; blame the black man and we can get away with this.

Just saw the CBS Evening News.
      They’re tease tonight;
      1) Target security issues
      2) sluggish job numbers
      3) terror threat at the Olympics
      4) story about a special teacher
      Not a whiff of Christie.

Because I’m walking 967% more now that I have Danny, I invested in a new pair of trainer thingies that arrived today.

They’re very comfy, but they’re ‘arch rockers’, which means I feel like I’m on the high seas in a storm even when I walk from the fridge to the kettle.

    Seriously, they’re rollercoaster-ish.

Does anyone have a natural remedy for sea sickness?

Breaking news on Rev. Al’s show…the confirmation hearing for Christie’s nominee for Att. General Kevin O’Dowd his chief of staff has been cancelled for Tuesday. Christe said at his conference that it would go forward but the leader of the Dem. party just said, not so fast. Wow.

    • January 10, 2014 at 7:03 pm

Excellent, thanks for that Melanie! Christie was his usual arrogant insufferable self about that hearing going ahead, so this is sweeeet.

There’s a whole lot of documents to be gone through before anyone can decide if Kevin O’Dowd gets to be AG which would of course put him in charge of the state’s portion of the investigation.

What a thought Grace!. I’m a New Yorker and I do occassionally shop in NJ. I think I’m gonna avoid the entire state until this whole investigation is over:)

Thanks Melanie. This isn’t going to go away – Christie is learning the hard way he does not have a republican legislature. He might even get some understanding of what PBO faces with congress every hour of every day.

No, I retract the last sentence – Christie doesn’t do empathy and understanding.

Nerd is my second name – I’m reading the NJ documents – no wonder Bill Baroni left – he has a story to tell

When Patrick Foye was getting the Lanes opened Friday 13th & describing the situation

Baroni to Foye – I am on way to office to discuss; There can be no public discourse.
Foye reply to Baroni – Bill, that is precisely the problem, there has been no public discourse on this

Too big to fail…? Maybe not. He doesn’t win because he’s large.. Actually, he doesn’t win at all.

Remind me to whine publicly the next time I do something to screw up the lives of a couple thousand of my fellow citizens. And I get caught doing it. “Oh, gee whiz; I feel so bad! People weren’t nice to me!”

“Best” the GOP has to offer…? Really. Even the NY Post has called this “pathetic.” And, indeed, it certainly is.

So far. Is there more to come? I’m a’waitin’…
