(Chips: Eric is one of my very, very, very, very favorite people on the Twitter machine, so I DM’ed him and said ‘Oi, you! Would you like to put together a post for TOD on your most memorable moments from 2013?’
If he’d any sense he’d have replied: ‘Go away, it’s holiday time, I’m chillin’, shoo’, but he didn’t, he said he’d love to. See? That’s why he’s Exceptional Excellent Eric.

— Eric Wolfson (@ericwolfson) December 30, 2013
Yo!
Jaaaaaaaaaaacqueline!!!!! Woot!
Chips, darlin’!!! Good to see ya.
Mighty fabulous to see you Jacqueline!!
I’ve been too busy loving every minute of my family’s visit to do any … er … cough … writing, so hope you forgive me! I still love ya and hope you “still” love me!
Well……. this is me waiting beside my inbox every day:
(You’ll note I still haven’t done my Memorable Moments, if they’re ready for August 2014 I will consider it a triumph)
I’d be very happy to apply for September 2014! Thanks for the idea!
Actually, I thought that after I went back to check to find out if you’ve had 10 memorables posted yet, I would trickily send you links to those 10 memorable TOD posts and say they were my 10 memorables. Hope nobody steals that idea from me – it’s one of my best in 2013. Not my best, but one of ’em. You all could learn from my trickily endeavors; you just don’t know it! Love the kitty!
I don’t know about CC, but I’ll have to seriously consider if *I* should forgive you.
.
.
Aw shucks, since you were busy loving, I’ll let you off this time, JO’B.
Thank you so much!
😆 😆 😆 YVW….TT
TT ????
this time
Got it! 🙂
Yo Ho – I was answering you on the last thread 🙂 when Chips was almost on time with this one
Yes, Chips keeps surprising us, one way or the other. That “Leave a comment” is a very “cheap thrill” for me, and I don’t mind admitting it!
Love your grandbabe story about her new “hat”! I’ll pass that around here …
Congrats JO’B!
Thx, Carol!
I was wondering where you were. Sounds like you enjoyed family a lot.
We’re having a great time!
Oh, there still there? Enjoy!
Yes, they just arrived on Friday. Open-ended visit, so far!
Great, enjoy!
They are, sorry.
Oh I love Eric’s choices. These are great and right on point!!
Steve Dowdy @Steverocks35 13m
@JeffersonObama Biggest story of the week was the NYTimes’ complete devastation of Issa’s Benghazi narrative. Crickets from MSM.
I didn’t have a chance to check out the NYT story, but – if it’s that good – it should be entered in the Congressional Record!
Great choices by Eric. He’s planning on retiring now. 😆
😆
Why not? All the rest of us have quit our jobs to be here, too! Well, sorta kinda.
😆 My boss would say I quit my job when TOD started …. if he knew TOD started 😕
Let’s keep that among all of us (millions) – he doesn’t need to know. 🙂
😆
Love it! THE most famous blog on the intertubes
Chica, because *you* can, would you pleeeease edit the tiny typo on the second line of your comment (under the memories banner)? Thanks
😆 Done VC, thank you – I haaaaaate typos in posts!!
TY kindly, mi deah! It’s 😎 when you can fix them. Wish I could fix my own after the fact. 😉
It’s sweet that he’s so excited about it. He did a fabulous job–funny, pertinent and very insightful. I love that he was really listening to the president’s second inaugural address–one of the best ever!
I could eat him Jackie, love the fella!!!
Friendly Reminder:
This is a great lineup of memories. #3 is my favourite.
Thanks Eric Wolfson…
Another moment I had forgotten, when PBO awarded the Congressional Gold Medal to the victims of the 1963 Birmingham Church bombing – a beautiful choice by Eric, so incredibly poignant.
Thanks for sharing your memorable moments with us Eric W. This is such a wonderfully uplifting activity, especially when mentally juxtaposed with MSM efforts.
.
.
I think I am enjoying these Gif charts (normally gifs make me feel dizzy, but not these). If we all gather them together and add to them daily we should have a good supply to cast into cyberspace to show MSM we know what was achieved in 2013.
Nice touch, chips. He is one of my favs too.
Sometimes I think you and Eric are twins ….. are you??
So I am the good one, right?
Ah yeah, of course.
eric, you should note this point.
😆
So bt, isn’t it your bedtime ? (sharpening the claws).
Be nice. While you were sleeping we were heaping praises on you bt’s 😉
Of course, I was gonna be nice. Cross your heart.
Thanks for that vid. It’s fantastically artistic.
If my memory serves me right it was you who coined the title “blog tyrant”. Right??
!
moi oui.
Also. Too. tundra twit.
i also remember that day… or was it night?
Matchsticks inserted under eyelids, on – choke – Billy watch ALL night.
matchsticks fiddlesticks.
I posted this earlier on twitter and a troll came along and said she researched this and most of it is not true. My response, prove it with links. She tells me Google is my friend. Ugh! SMH!!!!
Donna, good for you. You called her on it and she couldn’t deliver. Google is her friend, too, if she didn’t just click on right wing sites.
The troll is living in a reality authored by the GOP and their puppet-masters. Beyond help.
I’m trying to get myself organized with a review hashtag as promised yesterday. Hope this is something twitter brigade can work with. If not, tweak it, and I’ll follow…
Hello TOD Family, I’m trying to sign -up two family members for healthcare. We have questions so we called the phone number for assistance. We have been on hold for 50 minutes and still holding. Have you heard of any issues with the phone system today? I also signed up to chat with a representative but I’ve been waiting for more than 30 minutes. Thank you.
A representative just answered the phone. Yeah!! We’re going to get healthcare.
Faaaaaaaantastic news Allison, congratulations!!!
Thanks Chips….still on the phone with the Rep. Going through various options for them. It was well worth the wait.
Sheila E…Ooooooooooo weeeee
wifey unit just handed me 4 small raw inions and ordered me to eat them. Why? It’s good for you is why.
raw onions bright and early ? wimmin, I tellya.
I looooove raw onions! In fact, I’m going eat them all night while I’m on Billy-watch.
moi too. But still, even before I had my coffee? Apparently, I have signed on for this for rest of my life. //tears//
😥
I said onion, not gahlic.
oops, hope the wifey unit didn’t hear that. She know I love gahlic too.
Oh crikey – if you eat a whole garlic you’re banned from here until April, ok?
Oh come on, think of it as spicing up the site.
Chips – I missed something – what are yer plans when you actually spot Billy? Should we worry? 🙂
Ah, don’t worry J, I’ll be fine
Thar she blows!
raw onions? 😯 Do you swallow them whole? Better you than me.
My life has always been spicy, vc.
/I don’t eat raw onions/ What are you implying?
Inonothing, Inonothing.
True dat.
which one, spicy or nothing?
Woooot-ie Woooooot! Good Evening Family! Good-golly Miss Molly, I missed y’all!
I’m totally loving Eric’s 2013 Moment List! I’ve got quite a bit of catching up to do.
But first: Happy 23 Million Hits, Chips! Quite the stellar achievement, My Dear! Soooooo proud of you and the whole TOD Family!
Anyway, my holiday guests are finally all gone! Lordy, I’m BUSHED!
So glad I’m done running around just in time to settle in and catch the Kennedy Center Honors on CBS. Phew, thank goodness I set the DVR to record.
Look at our gorgeous Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor introducing the tribute to Martina Arroyo!
[Gasp!] [Chills!]
Just WOW!!!
{{{Dudette}}} Will have you know I noticed your lights were off. Nice to have you back.
That’s VC! Soooo glad to be back!
It’s killing me to see how much I’ve missed! Thanks for keeping the porch light on for me. 🙂
My pleasure, Sis. 😀
Duuuuuuuudette!!!! Very lovely to see your geeky nerdy smiley face!!!
Thank You Darling, Chips-arini! I’ve missed you madly! 😀
Mean ol’ family people invading my home wouldn’t let me alone long enough to get on my ‘puter and have some TOD fun. I snuck in a tweet from the phone every now and then though. 🙂
🙂 I know the feelin’ Dudette, I was like: hello-cousin-I-haven’t-seen-in-22-years-ie-when-I-was-born-hush-GGail, gotta go, haven’t been on TOD in, oh, 12 minutes. 😕
🙂
Isn’t that exciting? And Justice Sotomayor will also ring in the New Year in Times Square!! 🙂
Hi Hopefruit! Yeh, I just heard that on the radio. Isn’t that the coolest? I just adore her!

Thanks Eric for kindly agreeing to sharing your top 2013 moments with the TOD community. These are excellent selections and bring back great memories. That iconic photo of PBO giving the MLK 50th anniversary address against the backdrop of Lincoln is simply magnificent. 🙂
He needs another tv.
Yes the dress was amazing, like the woman wearing the dress.
I feel ya, anniebella! 🙂
Yuck! Bill O’Reilly is introducing the tribute to Herbie Hancock! WTH?
Strangely reminiscent of the time O’Reilly went to Sylvia’s in Harlem for dinner with Rev. Al, and made the prejudiced judgmental stereotypical bigoted comments … but I’ll let it go since this is a celebration of Herbie Hancock’s greatness!
I remember that. You’re right.
I saw that and I’m sorry Herbie but I didn’t listen to a word Bill had to say.
LOL! I did anyway. At least he was gracious and BRIEF!
Big day today. Gonna partition daughter unit’s new laptop. fingers and toes crossed. fym$ for making me do this.
Goof luck with that! 🙂
yeah, thanks for the ‘support’.
Hahahaha! Freudian slip there! I really meant “GOOD luck” 😀
You can laugh all you want – but why do you need to partition it /whatever that means/? I never had to partition mine.
C drive is always for operating system. All the rest of your stuff goes into partitioned drive(s) D, E, F etc. That way if the ‘puter ever loses it, your data is still safe while you reinstall OS on c drive. Reinstalling OS will wipe your data and hence the partitioning is the first thing you do.
m$ can make this simple and do the partition themselves, but noooo. Gotta make your customers all crazy.
O. I guess my cheapo company partitioned mine for me before it came to me. Okay.
I would start with a tall glass, some ice cubes, a shot glass and go from there…
yeah, being ‘highly’ prepped fo these jobs really helps.
Anything to help amk! 🙂 Oh and Beyonce’ has a song about Partition that might help. 🙂 🙂
Forget the song, just beyonce alone would help.
Now you’re talkin’.
I can’t believe that I don’t follow Eric! I’ve rectified that gross oversight.
🙂 “…These days, when Mr. Obama retreats to the White House residence after a long day on the other end of the colonnade, he is working his way through the DVD box set of AMC’s “Breaking Bad,” the award-winning TV drama about a drug-dealing high school teacher. The show just ended after five seasons, but the president is way behind and frequently reminds those around him not to give anything away.”

Okay. alright. FORUS, I get the message! 😀 😀
Just want to make sure! 🙂
😆 😆
😎 Just gotta say…
