https://twitter.com/FORUS50/status/404099971810480128 This needs to be corrected by CNN. Please retweet. Or let me know if it is true; I hadn’t heard that young people were not signing up.

Wonder if the Hallmark Channel has enough Christmas movies to last long enough to stretch between Halloween and Xmas? They started around Halloween this year.

I’m telling you LDS, I felt a breeze blow by me. Didn’t realize it was Ms. Chips swooshing down the train tracks! πŸ™‚

The movie was WONDERFUL. Bring some tissue, but be ready for gut-busting laughter too.
I’m going to see it again. Maybe even this weekend. πŸ˜€

You are the best. You must have your own private studio or sound room or something……nobody does it better.
Oh, my that sounds like a song my sister use to play for hours. It kind of grew on me, but I would never tell her.

Interesting story……….. I can’t wait to see all the archived photos/video footage that will be available after the President Obama leaves office.

BTW, I love Arun’s quote he e-mailed politico when asked about the b****hing & moaning from the WHCA & Photographers this week….

[Arun Chaudhary, the first official White House videographer, defended the White House policy and said it should do whatever it can to get its message across. He also suggested that “big media” stop pretending the White House beat is a “plum assignment” in the digital age.

“(The White House) press corps don’t break much news these days, I’m sure they are resentful, when they had a monopoly on communications technology, I’m sure they found folks needing them more giving them more,” Chaudhary, now partner at Revolution Messaging said in an email to POLITICO. “But their current colleagues who *ACTUALLY REPORT* seem to be doing fine, so maybe big media should stop pretending (the White House) beat is this plum assignment in the Internet age.”]

“A TINY FRACTION”. That’s what the 2 week media assault on the President was all about.

I hope they sign up for Obamacare. They are going to need it.
Maybe it will become universal worldwide even out of space. Who knows?
      Anything is possible with PBO……anything.

I forgot to say how lovely our First Lady is rocking that dress. Going over to Mrs. O and check out that black dress she wore earlier this week. My, those arms!

This is something I did while playing around with my editing software. It’s a montage/homage/dedication (whatever you want to call it) to the Nicholas Brothers and memorable dances in movies from Fred Astaire’s dancing on the ceiling and Shirley Temple to Breakfast Club, Singin’ in the Rain and Men in Black. NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED. I hold no ownership to any of these clips. These are property of the studios thereof. Be sure to view the credits at end.

I’m watching a Lincoln documentary. The narrator mentioned that Lincoln had followed Jefferson’s rule not to appear in person before Congress, to deliver his State of the Union addresses. But, when he was invited to speak at Gettysburg, he realized that the address would be re-printed in every newspaper in the country. He decided it was worth going, because he wanted to get his message directly to the people – not to or through Congress – and that was the best way to do so.

Who does that remind us of?

I will stamp your correct reply with words the nuns used to give us back in the ’50s in elementary school, even if we got 100% on our work (did I mention even if we got 100% on our work?):

            “Good job! Keep trying!”

To this day I am sorry I never had the courage to ask them, “What’s with the stamp? Whaddya mean ‘Keep tryin’? I got 100!!”

Not to burden you with all that. Just passing it forward.

I really appreciate it, but I am too tired to sit in an upright position all of a sudden, and I think I’ll go stretch out and finish another Lincoln documentary I’m watching! Must detach myself from this fun place for the night. Sleep well, when you get there!

You two stalwart owls make me laugh….often. And yes, I know I’m only a pseudo night owl. πŸ˜€
Sorry for the desertion; I signed off right after my comment so I wouldn’t be tempted to linger in one of my protracted sign offs where I flip to twitter, flip back, go for a mini-walk down to the kitchen, then start all over again. πŸ˜‰ The one hour++ drive to, and 45mins from, my destination drained me mentally. Did I mention that I hate night driving, especially when I don’t know where I am going and I encounter spots of snow/rain?
