You do a finer job, as it seasoned with warmth.

Report: Rise in health care spending lowest on record
Source: USA Today
Health care spending since the 2010 passage of the Affordable Care Act has risen by 1.3% a year, the lowest rate ever recorded, and health care inflation is the lowest it has been in 50 years, a report released Wednesday by the White House shows.
THE LOWEST EVER RECORDED!!! But Obamacare is so bad…..yeah, right.
Ms Whinfery is making the rightie talk haters and Fox totally explode. Well Done Ms Oprah, well done.
Over at Mediaite, they have a post that the Fox Five were debating that JFK would have been too Liberal for Today’s Dems? Talk about projection. Seriously?
The right haters are hating on Oprah
Streaming has started:
So Bob Woodward is saddened that leaker Edward Snowden didn’t come to him with his stillen goods?
He asked: Why didn’t he come to me. Pathetic Bob Woodward said.
Looking at FLOTUS in these pictures, FLOTUS has such style.
PBO is now speaking! Caroline Kennedy’s son introduced PBO and FLOTUS.
Yes our POTUS and FLOTUS just walked in.

Problems with WH links
GOOD NEWS IS NO NEWS
BY NANCEGREGGS, ON NOVEMBER 17TH, 2013
———————————-
In the past week, I have heard the phrase “Obama’s Katrina” bandied about – and truth be told, the similarities between the aftermath of Katrina and the problems with the Obamacare website cannot be easily dismissed. How many heart-wrenching photos of people standing on their rooftops, holding up hastily-crafted signs saying, “We cannot access the website – please send help!” have assaulted our senses since October 1st? What level-headed American does not immediately see the connection between people stranded without food, water and shelter and those who are living the nightmare of not being able to log onto a website?
.
.
It used to be that when TV news broadcasts focused on stories about trivialities, their audience assumed that it must be a slow news day. Well, we have now come to that place where it is all mindless trivia, all the time. And you can’t tell the average “newscaster” that there are actually important things happening in the nation, and the world at large, because it’s a concept they obviously don’t have the intellect to grasp – and sadly, neither do their remaining viewers.

Great article, really hit it out of the park. Retweet this everywhere; don’t have twitter in my neck of the woods
I don’t want to start nothing but…. I’m having some thoughts.
🙂
Yes, don’t start anything. Whatever it is. 🙂
I don’t want to start nothing….
Is anyone else seeing “technical difficulties” at the link, or did I miss it? Thanks for the post AND the links, Chips!
JjjjjJJjjjjj! Yep, problems with the YouTube link, but these are good so far – for me anyway!:

Thanks, Chips – I caught it at your CBS link!
Pheeeeeeeeeew!!!! Thanks J.
You’re so cute, Chips. 🙂
Can’t refresh TOD when you’re watching the whitehouse livestream!
But you can open a second TOD window. #TwoWaysToSkinThatCat
Still slows EVERYTHING down!
I know, but at least he’s worth the wait.
Yes I saw it – so I went straight to WH.gov site, and it works fine there. 🙂
Duh. I found your CBS link, Chips.
🙂
First Lady Michelle Obama is a shining star as usual in a lovely fitted coat and suede boots. Her look is so fresh and young and flattering. Her date isn’t too shabby, either.
Sorry, but Hillary in that floor length coat…..oh well…. never mind and yes I am showing how shallow I can be.
These comments are about the daytime events. Haven’t seen the evening coverage yet.
OKay, well lets say that FLOTUS is at least 15 yrs younger than Hillary. But Dr. Jill, who is about the same age, looks and dresses so well, and fresh/modern-looking! I won’t judge Hillary for her appearance, but I will say that Dr. Jill’s style shows that you can be over 60 and be very fashionable without being inappropriate.
I agree about Dr. Jill looking good.
So do many women much older than Jill Biden and hillary. It is so not about age.
First Grandma! 🙂 🙂
But, but, First Grandma has a confident fashionista daughter as a reference point. 😉
True dat. 🙂 🙂
So RFK would have been 88 yrs today.
On Nov 25th John, John would have been 53.
Wow, she looked magnificent.
I haven’t seen what FLOTUS is wearing tonight. I did see when she and POTUS walked in but I only caught a glimpse of her face, hair and the ear rings. Maybe we will get to see her gown later.
The post above from Nance Greggs talks about the feckless media and their obsession with only reporting bad news about President Obama. The media firewall continues to systematically filter out the good news. Nance nails it with her righteous rant calling out the media.
The media wants to drive the polls down to GWB levels – they aren’t succeeding so they just keep lying
Wonderful remarks from PBO that make me grateful for him and the America we love.
Jack also gave a wonderful speech. He is definitely going places.
Is this the 3rd day in a row we’ve heard the President, meta, or am I dreaming? (If I’m dreaming, don’t wake me up.) 🙂
ZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzz
I forgot what I had asked you. And I thought at first those “zzzz’s” meant I was boring you and you finally decided to tell me.
Moving right along, tears gone, nothing to see here. 🙂
I’m in 3-days-in-a-row Dreamland with POTUS!!
(p.s. JO’B is never boring.)
(Ha.)
John is attending Yale.
He seems extremely poised for his age. His grand-pop, and uncles would be so proud of him.
inorite?
We truly are blessed to have Pres. Obama. He gave a heartwarming, tear inducing tribute to the memory of JFK, Bobbie, and Teddy.
Nice Pictures
President Obama is just good inside. It is not possible for me to love him any more than I do.
Oh…THIS:)
Well, who among us isn’t right where you are on that? Well said.
Feel exactly the same. And at every appearance that deep love and respect is authenticated,
Kind of random…but they actually needed a sign to say “Please Keep Off the Wall” ?? Really? That’s just sad.
Unfortunately, some folks — young and old, have NO respect or reverence!
Honestly. I have a hard time with the disrespect of so many things….
http://jimstuartnewblog.blogspot.com/2013/11/now-i-see-probthree.html
very thoughtful essay….
lines worth noting,,,,
America doesn’t seem to favor redistribution, as much as it did in the 60s’. This is not only an anti-big Government response. It springs from a feeling of national scarcity, even decline, that we no longer have the abundance, and therefore the policy options that we used to have. What is given to one group of people is not available to others. Competition for resources becomes zero sum: win-lose. If you win, I lose; and vice versa.
So what is the significance of this? Even with a working website, even with millions enrolled. even with 2015 premium increases turning out to be modest, many Americans will be waiting for the other shoe to drop, revealing what bad thing will happen to me, because the poor and the uninsured are benefitting..
****************************************
The chart says so much…that folks of color…can see things a lot more clearly that white folks…but then isn’t that always the case…
although there are folks of color in the middle class…I would be very interested in knowing what is the percentage of white working class is against the ACA…this chart does not break down folks economically….
Wow, PBO is coming here next Monday to do a high dollar luncheon but I just read that he’s added a public event on immigration!!
It will be just over the next hill from where I live so even if I can’t get in –> MOTORCADE!!!!!!!
WOOOOOOTTTT!!!!!!!!
YAYAYAYAYYY!
So happy for you, friend!
Whheeeeeee!!
😆 😆 Of course, since you have already met him, could I talk you into a swift body & mind exchange – I come there, you come here? It would have to be very brief, Sunday to Tuesday maybe, ’cause I don’t bake or cook so you’d have to do extra baking ahead of time. What do you say?
You know I love ya, dawg, but uuummmm, NO!!
Giving you another chance to change your mind. /playing Jeopardy music to help settle your nervousness./ Now, Meta, think carefully…is that your final answer?
FINAL ANSWER!! I will take my camera, though.
DEEP, DEEP sigh! Aw, okay. It was worth a try. 😀 I won’t say ‘have a good time’ because that’s a given; I’ll eagerly await the pics for sure.
Way cool!!!
Whoopsie
Do I care about Uncle Tom Scott, I mean Tim, not endorsing Little Lindsey.
This will likely result in Lindsey acting more blustery and irresponsible over the next year, as he tries to prove that he is standing up to PBO. 😐
Urp
Somebody on Twitter mentioned Tamron Hall has a new show on, tonight. Anybody know when? I was so hoping she had replaced Chris Hayes, but no such luck.
I was hoping Joy Reid would replace Hayes, but it appear that won’t happen. I wonder how Alec Baldwin could get a show and get suspended already. But i guess Joy Reid isn’t light skinned enough. They will only hire the white or light skinned black.
She has been talking about some kind of true crime show she was producing——–don’t know what channel.
Oh, thanks.
Tamaron has a show on the Discovery Channel, but it has been on for quite awhile. It is similar to Dateline, where it involves unsolved murders.
Not much interested in that topic, but thanks!
President Obama Remarks on John F. Kennedy’s Legacy
http://www.c-spanvideo.org/program/316372-3
Funny fact just hit me…..President Obama was two years old on that fateful day…..now, fifty years later, he is the one laying the wreath at JFK’s grave. How elegantly, gracefully and meaningfully he performs every ritual of his office. They are never just routine, he shows the deep meaning in each one.
So glad to see him enjoying himself at the Medal of Freedom awards.
When will we get to see pictures of FLOTUS at the Medal of Honor celebration….someone said her gown is wonderful!
People are odd. 2013 people bought $99 vials of “melted ice” from the Chgo Blackhawks championship season. Wonder where one displays this prized water possession. Maybe not as odd as the stitches removed from one of the skaters that went for $7,000, or thereabouts. Proceeds all go to charity, so vive odd!
